Day 1 Welcome to Spain! You will be met at the airport and transferred to your hotel for check in and to freshen up. This morning explore for a few hours by bicycle! Just follow your guide as he takes you to some of s most impressive architectural highlights. Always using special and safe bike paths, you will discover older architectural highlights such as Gaudí s Casa Batlló & Casa Milà or the stunning Arc de Triomf. You will also get a glimpse of the more modern architectural curiosities. But the sightseeing is only half the fun. During this easy and enjoyable bicycle ride, you will also get a chance to see and live the vibrant way of life of the Catalans in. Return to the hotel for dinner and an early evening. Day 2 Today discover s soccer heritage! You will be picked up at your hotel and transferred to the stadium. Here, meet with a professional journalist and specialist of the team. You will immerse yourself into the world of this team. After a visit of the stadium, you will reach the museum where your guide will tell you many anecdotes about the Barça. Transfer back to the hotel and enjoy the rest of the day on your own. Day 3 This morning, visit the famed Sagrada Familia. You will be picked up at your hotel and trasfered to the Sagrada Familia (or consider walking?). Enjoy skip the line entrance and quickly begin to understand the wonderful inspiration behind Gaudí s architecture: nature. Day 4 Today is all about Catalan food. For mouthwatering Catalan specialties, there is no better place than the Boqueria Market. Follow your expert guide as she takes you through the narrow, offthe-beaten-path alleyways of the market in search of the best local delicacies in town. These small, hidden stalls supply the most distinguished restaurants in the city! From olives to ham, from edible flowers to salted cod and from sweet treats to delicious ice-cream, this is your chance to taste the exquisite flavors of. Needless to say that your children will have just as much fun as you seeing and tasting all this! Day 5 Today join your guide at the Picasso Museum for one of the best family experiences in Spain! Step into the shoes Pablo Picasso, one of the most famous 20th century artists. From his youth in to his worldwide notoriety, this charming museum is the best way to learn about the Spanish artist. And our guide has some great tricks up his sleeve to help your children understand and enjoy his work. After the short visit (45 minutes) and a quick walk through the narrow streets of, it s time to take on the pastels or paint and become the new Picasso. Follow the instructions of our private art teacher as you reproduce of one of Picasso s paintings. You ll be walking out of this workshop with your own replica of a Picasso which you will be able to hand proudly at home. Day 6 This morning, transfer to the airport for your flight to, Italy. Meet your driver after Baggage Claim for your van transfer to your hotel in. Check in to your rooms and grab some lunch. This afternoon you will be picked-up at your hotel by your guide for a 3-hour city tour by golf cart during which you will visit the most admired squares and fountains of. Let the kids run free in Piazza Navona while admiring its artistic treasures including Bernini s famous Fountain of the Four Rivers. Just outside Piazza Navona, step inside the Church of San Luigi dei Francesi to admire one of Caravaggio s most important commissions: The Calling of St. Matthew. End with a stop for a gelato in one of the best ice cream shops of the city, close to the Trevi Fountain.
Day 7 After breakfast, meet your private guide at the skip-the-line entrance of Vatican Museum and enjoy an American breakfast in the internal Vatican courtyard Cortile della Pigna. Then start with your private guided tour: Pio Clementino Museum, Galleries, Raffaello s Rooms and Sistine Chapel. At the end you will head to St. Peter s Basilica, for a private tour of the Catholic Church s Headquarters! If desired, climb the cupola (dome) with the kids for a beautiful view over the city of. This afternoon, explore the city on your own. Consider taking a break from the sun and heat with a walk around the gorgeous Villa Borghese park. Day 8 After breakfast, meet your private guide and depart for your walking tour to Ancient. Enjoy skip the line entrance to the Colosseum and walk around the first and second levels of the Colosseum discovering the secret history of this ancient amphitheater. Your guide will shock you with secret, behind-the-scenes shenanigans of gladiators and fascinate you with the other lesser-known uses of the Colosseum. You ll learn about everyday life in Ancient too, during the next stop to the Roman Forum, with the final resting place of Julius Caesar, the incredible Arch of Constantine and the Temple of the Vestal Virgins. End your tour with a visit to the Palatine Hill, the birthplace of Ancient and the location of some of its oldest and most impressive ruins. Day 9 Florence After breakfast in hotel, hop on a train to Florence (Frecciarossa high speed train, First Class seats) At your arrival at Florence Santa Maria Novella Train Station, you will meet your private driver and transfer to your hotel. Enjoy the rest of the day at leisure in the marvelous Florence: walk around in the city center, admiring the main sites, from the Duomo, with the important Brunelleschi's Dome, to Piazza della Signoria, with the towering Palazzo Vecchio (where an exact replica of "David" stands). Stroll through the Ponte Vecchio and Oltrarno district and enjoy the afternoon on your own. Overnight: Villa Cora
Day 10 Florence Today enjoy an amazing full-day bike group tour in the Tuscan countryside. Meet your guide in Florence city center and depart, with a short car transfer (about 20 minutes), to the Chianti Castello di Trebbio, a 12th century castle which produces its own wine, olive oil, and fruits and vegetables. The castle is located in the famous Chianti Rufina region, where they produce the world renowned Ruffino wine. After the bike test and selection and a short briefing by an English speaking guide you will depart for the tour through the picturesque winding roads of the Tuscan countryside: splendid views of the rolling hillside, vineyards and olive groves, little ancient churches and medieval towers. After the bike ride, you will return to the Castle, for a convivial delicious traditional Tuscan lunch and Chianti wine drinking (adults only) with the group. Enjoy and Buon Appetito!!! Bring your camera, there are many excellent photo opportunities on this trip! Transfer back to Florence for dinner and overnight. Overnight: Villa Cora Day 11 Cannes After breakfast, you will be picked up and transferred to your apartment in Cannes by car. Along they way, stop in Pisa at the leaning tower and have a look on your own. Arrive at your villa in France in the afternoon. Overnight: Private villa Days 12-16 Cannes Five full days to explore the area and enjoy life in the South of France! Overnight: Private Villa Day 17 Travel Home Transfer to the Nice airport for your flight home.
