Commercial Burglaries: Date/Time Address (block range) Method of Entry /Suspect Information 03/22/2019 5:19am 16000 W Twelve Mile (Commercial- Multi Office) Pulled on door and it opened? Victim states on Friday 03/22/2019 at approx. 5:19am two white male subjects were caught on camera arriving on the property in what appeared to be a White 2018-19 GMC Terrain. The subjects pull up to the back door of the business. The subjects can be seen walking away from the vehicle and up to the rear door. Suspect #1 pulled on the door and somehow got it open. Suspect#1 and his accomplice entered the office building and initially went to the lower level. After a short time, the suspects go to the upper level. The suspects were captured on a hallway camera attempting to kick in several doors to the suites on the upper level of the building. They leave empty-handed after being in the building for about two minutes. The suspects got back into the White GMC Terrain and flee the property. Further investigation revealed that the suspects kicked in the doors of several suites in the lower level. Most of the suites were vacant. Suspect #1 is described as a white male, wearing a dark ski-mask with a brim, dark hoodie, and dark pants. Suspect #2 is described as a white male, wearing a dark striped hoodie, with dark pants, and what appear to be ski goggles over his eyes. Both suspects appear to have a medium build, 40s, and both appear to be middle-eastern.

Automobile Thefts: 03/19/2019 8:19am Date/Time Address (block range) Year, Make, Model Details 17000 New Jersey St. S - Stolen/ Manufacturer CHEVROLET Color GRN - Green Vehicle Year 2017 Body Style 4D - 4 Door State MI License Year 2019 2017 Green/ Gray Chevy Tahoe Victim states she last saw her vehicle on 03/17/2019 at approx. 6:30pm after carpooling with some friends of hers. On 03/18/2019 at approx. 5:30pm she discovered her vehicle was gone from the driveway where she parked it. No suspect information. From: 03/20/2019 3:30am To: 03/20/2019 4:00am 20000 Lahser Rd. (residential- Apartments) A Attempt Stolen Vehicle Manufacturer DODGE Model RAM TRUCK Color Vehicle Year 2008 Body Style State MI License Year RED DODGE RAM TRUCK Notes IGNITION DAMAGE Victim stated his coworker who lives at the same apartment building, heard victim s car alarm going off at 3:30am. Victim came out around 8:30am to check on his car and discovered that someone had forced entry into his vehicle with a screwdriver. There was also a rock on the driver s side floor board. The steering column was damaged on the vehicle. No suspect information.

03/23/2019 12:34am 22000 Telegraph Rd. (Commercial- Market) SR - Both Stolen and Recovered Manufacturer HONDA Model Accord Color SIL - Silver or Aluminum Vehicle Year 2017 Body Style State MI License Year 2020 Silver Honda Accord Officers were on routine patrol, N/B on Telegraph near 9 Mile Rd., following a 2017 Silver Honda Accord. Officers ran the license plate on vehicle and it came back as a stolen vehicle out of another jurisdiction. Notes on the LEIN entry stated suspect(s) took keys to vehicle at Dooley s Bar in Roseville. The vehicle was pulling into business on Telegraph Rd. just south of 9 Mile. Officers initiated a traffic stop by activating their emergency lights. The vehicle pulled into a parking space at business. The driver was continuously looking back at Officers and there was furtive movement in the vehicle. After contact was made with the driver she appeared nervous and was reaching around the vehicle not making eye contact with Officers. The driver asked what was wrong. When Officers advised the driver that the vehicle was reported stolen she again started reaching for something towards the passenger seat. Officers removed the driver from the vehicle and searched her for any weapons. Nothing was found. The vehicle was confirmed stolen and the driver was taken into custody for R&C Motor Vehicle & NOLOP. A search of the vehicle by Officers revealed there was a white pill in a plastic baggie that

was later identified as Oxycodone. The victim of the Auto Thefts purse was also recovered in the vehicle. The person driving the vehicle stated the purse belonged to her. Officers located ID and credit cards in the purse that suggested otherwise. They belonged to the victim. Suspect was transported to jail and lodged. Southfield Detectives interviewed suspect at the Southfield Jail. During the interview suspect made admissions to observing and taking the keys to vehicle while unattended, on a table at Dooley s Bar in Roseville. Suspect then went out into the parking lot and started hitting the key fob until she found victims vehicle. She then got into the vehicle and drove away with it. Suspect also made admissions to attempting to use one of victim s credit cards at a gas station.

03/24/2019 12:00am 26000 Central Park Blvd. (Hotel) SR - Both Stolen and Recovered Manufacturer FORD Color Vehicle Year 2013 Body Style State MI Red Ford Focus 03/24/2019 1:12am R/P was celebrating her friend s birthday at Hotel in the 26000 Block of Central Park Blvd. Victim drove his Red Ford Focus to the front door of the hotel room. Victim left the vehicle running with the keys in it and walked up to the room to get her friends. When victim came back, the vehicle was gone. Victim did not see who took the vehicle or see the vehicle leave the hotel. Follow Up Investigation & Arrest: On 03/24/2019 at 1:10am, Officer was finishing up on this Auto Theft Report when he observed a Red Ford Focus, turn into the parking lot. The vehicle matched the description of the vehicle stolen earlier in the night. Officer caught up to the vehicle in the parking lot. The vehicle was confirmed to be the vehicle that was stolen earlier. Officer advised dispatch of his findings and location. He then activated his emergency lights and initiated a traffic stop. The driver got out of the vehicle. Officer stopped the subject and patted him down. Additional Officers arrived on scene to assist. The subject was taken into custody w/o incident. The suspect later made admissions to taken the vehicle to go up to the store. He also made admissions to taking money that he found in the vehicle.

(Multi Office Building) S - Stolen Manufacturer Victoria Secret Model Pink Package (Sweaters (2) Victim stated she ordered a package with sweaters from Victoria Secrets. When victim failed to receive her package, she contacted the merchant who informed her it was delivered and signed for by someone in her office? No suspect information. From: 03/20/2019 10:00pm To: 03/21/2019 7:45am 25000 Shiawassee Rd. (Residential- Apartments) S - Stolen Speaker, Electric Wrench, Snap on Electric Tools were all taken from 2008 Dodge Magnum. Victim states sometime between 10:00pm and the following morning at 7:45am someone entered his unlocked 2008 Dodge Magnum and took several items from the vehicle. A second vehicle was also attacked in the same complex. No suspect information. From: 03/20/2019 9:00pm To: 03/21/2019 6:55am 25000 Shiawassee Rd. (Residential- Apartments) S - Stolen 2- Outfits from Burlington, 2- Outfits from Carters, Blanket, & Piggy Bank were taken from 2015 Chevy Equinox. Victim states sometime between 9:00pm and the following morning at 6:55am someone entered her unlocked 2015 Chevy Equinox and took several items from the vehicle. A second vehicle was also attacked in the same complex. No suspect information.

White Nissan Altima / Rental >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> S Suspect Vehicle Manufacturer TOYOTA Color RED - Red Vehicle Year 2009 Body Style State MI Red Toyota Truck Notes Reported Stolen by Grosse Pointe Woods PD - Suspect Vehicle / Eluded Officer. >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> On 03/21/2019, Officers was dispatched to the 26000 Block of American Dr. (Hotel) on report of an LFA that had just occurred. The suspect vehicle was a Red SUV, that was last seen heading toward Telegraph Rd. from American Drive. There was a possible partial plate given for suspect vehicle. Officer observed a Red Compact SUV traveling S/B on Telegraph Rd. at a high rate of speed. Officer caught up to this vehicle as it passed through 8 Mile Rd. and noted that the plate was like what security had given. The plate came back to a stolen vehicle. (2009 Red Toyota Truck) Officer reported that the vehicle suddenly slammed on its brakes and went W/B on Pembroke. Officer activated his lights & siren and attempted to stop the vehicle. The vehicle fled from Officer and because of the vehicles erratic driving the pursuit was terminated. The vehicle was last seen traveling S/B on Winston from Pembroke. Officers at the Hotel reported two vehicles were attacked. One vehicle, a Maroon Dodge Charger (in the back-parking lot) was missing all 4 wheels and tires. A second vehicle, a White Nissan Altima (parked in the front parking lot) had the lug nuts for both passenger side tires removed, before security scared the suspects away.

From: 03/20/2019 5:00pm To: 03/21/2019 12:40pm 24000 Wildbrook Ct. (Residential- Condo s) A Attacked Vehicle Manufacturer GMC Model ENVOY Color Vehicle Year 2008 Body Style State MI Vehicle was Ransacked but Nothing was Taken. Victim states sometime between 5:00pm and the following day at 12:40pm someone punched the lock on her 2008 GMC Envoy driver s door and entered vehicle. The vehicle was ransacked but nothing was taken.

03/22/2019 5:54pm 25000 Evergreen Rd. (Commercial- Fast Food) SR - Both Stolen and Recovered Blue Plastic Container for Tips Containing an Undisclosed Amount of Assorted Bills. Recovered Date/Time 03/22/2019 6:55pm R/P (manager) advises he was alerted by an employee that the Tip Jar was missing from the front counter. R/P was able to bring up video of the incident. At approx. 3:40pm suspect was observed coming into the business and going into the bathroom. A couple minutes later the suspect is seen looking around to see if anyone was looking and then taking the Tip Jar and leaving the business. R/P positively identified the suspect as a former employee that was just let go recently. Officers after speaking with the R/P and reviewing the video went to the suspects residence in Southfield. Officers knocked on the door and were met at the door by the suspects father. Officers explained the situation to the father and asked the father if his son was home. The father acknowledged that his son was home and allowed Officers to come into his home to speak with his son. Officers were escorted to the basement where the son s bedroom was located. Officers met with suspect and spoke to him about the missing Tip Jar. At first the suspect denied any knowledge or even being at the business. When Officers told suspect, there was video of him taking the Tip Jar he eventually made admissions that he was at the business but it was someone else that took it.

Eventually suspect admitted to taking the Tip Jar and told Officers the Tip Jar was under some blankets in his bedroom. Officers located and confiscated the Tip Jar. There was no money in the Tip Jar and the top lid was missing. Suspect was taken into custody for Larceny in Building. 03/23/2019 4:08am 16000 North Park Dr. (Residential- Apartments) S - Stolen Rockford Fosgate Subwoofer (2x 12") Taken from 2006 Chevy Suburban Tips: Ensure your vehicle is locked at all times and valuables are out of sight. Thieves wait for the right time and will move quickly Even if playing sports at a park ensure your vehicle is locked On 03/23/2019 @ 4:08am Southfield Police Dispatch put out information of a possible Auto Theft in progress in the 16000 Block of North Park Dr. (Apartment Complex) The suspect vehicle was a Red Toyota SUV, matching the description of a vehicle that was involved with an Larceny from Auto earlier in the week. Officers located victim and discovered her 2006 Chevy Suburban was broken into and 2- Subwoofer s were taken from the rear of the vehicle. Suspect : Suspect: B/M, 5'9", medium build, blue jeans, black hoodie with white stripes down the side Vehicle: Burgundy or Red 4 door SUV (compact) likely Toyota. A Southfield Police Evidence Technician processed the vehicle and evidence was developed.

Armed Robbery: Date/Time Address (block range) Item Taken Details 03/18/2019 8:41am 27000 Northwestern (Hotel) S - Stolen Wallet Containing: Cash, Credit Card, Driver s License, On 03/18/2019 at 8:45am, Officers were dispatched to the 27000 Block of Northwestern, (Hotel), reference a Robbery. Officers located the victim and interviewed her. Victim stated she was robbed at gunpoint after attempting to purchase some marijuana. The suspects fled in a Silver Dodge Charger with a Michigan License Plate. The vehicle fled S/B on Telegraph Rd. The two suspects were B/M s and took the victim s wallet and an undisclosed amount of cash. The incident wasn t reported until 25 minutes after it happened? Officers conducted a follow-up investigation in the 16000 Block of Trinity St. in Detroit. Information had been developed that suspect(s) and suspect vehicle may be in this area. The suspects were not located. The suspect vehicle was entered LEIN as a Felony Robbery Wanted Vehicle. Be on the Look Out Highlights: Special Attention: Felonious Assault 03/18/2019 2:56pm 17000 Block of Roxbury Ave. Officers were dispatched to the 17000 Block of Roxbury Ave. Victim; an elderly male was hit in the head by his 17- year old son with an object and suffered a cut to his head. Victim advised Officers that he got into a verbal argument with his son. His son asked for the Internet to be turned on so he could play videogames. Victim refused and he asked his son to assist with yard work instead. His son refused to help with the yard work, became upset and began to stand and walk on the furniture of the home with his muddy shoes. His son then threw a chandelier light bulb at him causing the bulb to break over his head causing a scratch to the left side of his head from the glass. Victims son then tore his bedroom door off its hinges and kicked out the window to his bedroom before leaving the home. Victim informed Officers that that his son has behavioral issues. On 03-24-19 at approx. 10:39pm Officers were dispatched to the 28000 Block of Evergreen Rd on a report of a fight. Dispatch advised Officers they have received multiple calls regarding a large group (10-15 people) outside the residence physically fighting. Officer arrived in the area and observed from a distance, several subjects on the hood of a vehicle that was backing down the driveway. The subjects on the hood were pounding on the windshield & the vehicle was backing out towards Evergreen Rd. Officer fearing that the vehicle would pull out onto the main roadway pulled in front of the residence and blocked the vehicle in. Officer turned on his emergency lights and activated his siren in hopes the subjects would stop fighting. As Officers emergency lights turned on, an unknown B/F ran out into the middle of the street in front of his patrol car. Soon after this, a B/M who was later identified came running out into the street as well. The male subject immediately took a fighting stance in front of Officers patrol car and said, "f--- the police". He had his fists clinched. Officer was still the only Officer on scene at the time. He drew his Taser and told the suspect to get back. He initially complied then became hostile and kept screaming at Officer. There were multiple neighbors and small children outside during this time. Other Officers showed up and attempted to control the situation and investigate incident. The same suspect that threatened first Officer on the scene continued to curse and scream at Officers. He refused to step away. He was ordered to get on the ground and taken into custody. Officers handcuffed suspect but he continued to cuss, yell and resist as Officers were handcuffing him. Special Attention: A&B/ MDOP Investigation 03/21/2019 11:44pm 29000 Block of Northwestern Hwy. (Commercial- Night Club/ Lounge) Several Southfield Officers were dispatched to the 29000 Block of Northwestern Hwy in response to reports of a fight taking place in the parking lot. Dispatch advised that one subject had been pepper sprayed and that two men were being detained by Security. Investigation revealed that suspect was leaving the establishment with his girlfriend when another male grabbed his girlfriend by the arms and jokingly said "your boy owes me money." The suspect became upset because he touched his girlfriend by the arms. Suspect grabbed ahold of victim s shoulders and took him to the ground. Victim stated suspect did not hit him while he was on the ground. Victim stated two security guards broke up the fight and pepper sprayed him and suspect. Victim stated, "we weren't even fighting" and "security did their job." Suspect and Victim were both identified and incident is under further investigation. house and on the front lawn began to yell at Officers. Officers attempted to ask multiple people what led up to Officers being called there but nobody wanted to cooperate. After attempting to talk with multiple people on scene, the only information gathered was that multiple subjects were intoxicated and physically fighting on the front lawn. Nobody wished to cooperate and Officers cleared the scene with the one subject that was arrested for Disorderly Conduct and R&O. Methamphetamine Deliver- 1- Arrest 03/19/2019 10:59pm 28000 Block of Northwestern Hwy (Hotel) Officers were dispatched to the 28000 block of Northwestern Hwy (Hotel) on a report of a subject attempting to sell narcotics. R/P advises he was approached in the parking lot by a B/M wearing a dark jacket asking if the R/P would like to buy Crystal Meth. The male then got into a Gold Toyota Highlander. The suspect vehicle and suspect were located, parked in the rear lot. Officers investigated and recovered suspected meth in two different locations of the vehicle. They also recovered narcotics paraphernalia (pipe) and a scale from the vehicle. The occupant was arrested for PWID Methamphetamine.

Recently several citizens have had packages that were delivered to their residences and apartments stolen prior to them retrieving the packages. Citizens can prevent this from happening by scheduling a specific time to have the package delivered and be waiting for the package. Citizen can also schedule the package to be picked up by themselves at the common carrier facility CCW & Warrant- 1- Arrest 03/20/2019 9:12pm W Eight Mile Rd. & Evergreen Rd. On 03/20/2019 at approx. 9:12pm, Officers were E/B on 8 Mile Rd just west of Evergreen when they observed a 2007 Buick Lucerne traveling E/B on 8 Mile. The plate on the Blue 2007 Buick Lucerne was ran via LEIN. Officers discovered that the registered owner of the vehicle had a confirmed Southfield Warrant. Officers drove up next to the driver side of vehicle and observed the driver. He matched the physical description of the registered owner to the vehicle. During the traffic stop of the vehicle Officers observed what appeared to be a paintball gun in the form of a rifle and a handgun box in the back seat. Officers contacted the driver. The driver was identified as the registered owner of the vehicle. The driver advised Officers that he had just purchased a handgun and it was in the glove box. The driver was taken into custody for the confirmed Southfield Warrant. Further investigation by Officers a Handgun with one chambered round was recovered from the glove box and a magazine with four rounds was recovered from the center console. Officers also confiscated a black gun box in the back seat of the vehicle with ammunition. The driver of the vehicle doesn t have a CPL. Additional charge of CCW.

(Swanson & Telegraph) She appeared disheveled, her hair was messed up and part of her weave was pulled out. She was also crying and had a red mark on the upper left side of her face. Victim states her ex-boyfriend showed up at her house last night (3/19/2019). He walked to her house and wanted to talk because he had nowhere to stay. Victim let subject in to talk. After talking, victim asked subject to leave several times but he refused to leave. Subject told victim he needed a place to stay for the night and he would sleep on the couch. Victim wanted subject to leave but she was afraid to say no. When the subject woke up the following morning he insisted on talking to R/P about getting back together. Victim stated no and went upstairs to take a shower. While victim was in the shower, subject looked at R/P s ipad and saw several chats with other males. When R/P got out of the shower he confronted R/P about the other males. R/P was sitting on the couch and tried to get up several times. Each time her ex-boyfriend pushed her back down onto the couch. At some point while R/P was trying to get up, suspect sat on victim and hit her several times. After the subject got off her, she went into the bathroom to look at her injuries. She then snuck outside with her phone and called 911.

Officers stopped the suspect a short time later in front of the Southfield Public Library on Evergreen Rd. Officers contacted the driver (suspect) and he was confrontational with Officers and demanded to know why he was being stopped. When asked for his Driver s License and ID he stated he didn t have his driver s license with him and gave Officers an alias name. He denied any contact with R/P however he had marks on his face and his t shirt was all stretched out. OWI- 1- Arrest 03/15/2019 5:01am Southfield Rd. & W Nine Mile Rd. Officers responded to a one car rollover crash. The driver appeared to be intoxicated and was transported to the hospital for treatment. Because of victim s injuries sobrieties were limited. The driver did provide one breath sample. The results were.182 @ 05:55 hrs. An Affidavit for Search Warrant was sworn to before a 46 th District Court Magistrate. The driver was advised of the Search Warrant & R.N at hospital completed the blood draw. The driver would later admit to consuming alcohol but could not remember exactly what type, brand, or amount. The driver was later released pending toxicology results. OWI/ Refuse PBT/ Refuse Breath Test- 1- Arrest Inc.# 19/9657 03/15/2019 2:45am E I-696 & Inkster Rd. Officer stopped vehicle for speeding, 102mph- 70mph zone. Further investigation and sobriety tests by Officer lead to the driver being arrested for OWI. The driver refused PBT and any further Breath Tests. A Search Warrant for a Blood Draw was obtained and a Blood Draw was conducted on the driver at the hospital. The suspect was taken the Southfield Jail and lodged.
