Commercial Burglaries: Date/Time Address (block range) Method of Entry Description/Suspect Information 06/25/2018 10:09am 21000 Northwestern (Northland Property) Service Corridor Door was pried open. R/P for site advised that sometime between 06/22/2018 at 2:00pm, and 06/25/2018 at 10:30am Someone forced open the Service Corridor Door. Per R/P there was nothing taken, nothing was inside the building. Inspection of surrounding area by Officers revealed that there are several areas along the fence surrounding the property that have been compromised.

06/29/2018 5:12am 29000 Northwestern (Pharmacy) Smashed out the door with a dark colored crowbar with a white hook. Officers responded to alarm at Pharmacy at 5:12am. Officers arrived and discovered Good B&E. The front door was shattered. The owner arrived on scene and reviewed his surveillance video. Officers observed Suspect #1, smash out the door with a dark colored crowbar with a white hook. Suspect #1 made entry into the building and waited for Suspect #2 to enter the building. Both suspects approached the pharmacy from the south side of the building. Once inside both suspects ran to the rear of the counter checking shelves and two drawers that contained empty pill bottles. Suspect #1 went into a rear office and immediately came out. Both suspects then fled the store. Suspect's entered the pharmacy at 5:07am and exited the pharmacy at 5:08am. Incident is under investigation. Home Invasion: Date/Time Address (block range) Method of Entry Description/Suspect Information 06/26/2018 6:46pm 28000 Franklin River Dr. (Residential- Apartments) Apartment Door was pried open. Officers responded to Home Invasion in progress in which a known suspect (Ex-Boyfriend) forcefully entered male victim s residence armed with a knife, threatened victim with the knife and is tearing the house up. Officers arrived on scene and located suspect and victim inside the apartment. The suspect complied to Officers demands. A knife was recovered from suspects pocket and he was taken into custody for Home Invasion and F/A. Victim left his car running with the keys in the ignition and told his friend he would be right back. When victim returned his friend and his car were gone. Victim gave Officers information relating to his friend and advised his friend is a heroin user. 06/25/2018 12:30pm 25000 Greenfield Rd. (Residential- Apartments) Status SR - Both Stolen and Recovered Manufacturer ACURA Model ILX Color WHI - White Vehicle Year 2016 Body Style 4D - 4 Door State MI License Year Description WHITE 2016 HONDA ACURA 4DR Recovered Date/Time 06/26/2018 7:00am Victim states sometime between 9:00am- 12:30pm someone stole her 2016 White Honda Acura. Victim believes that she may have had a spare key in the center console of the vehicle. The following day on 06/26/2018 victim received a call from a maintenance employee where she works who stated they found her vehicle at the Bank of America just south of the apartment complex. Victim walked to the Bank of America and stated the keys were still in the center console where she left them on 06/25/2018. There was no damage to the vehicle. Victim stated she didn t know the identity of the maintenance worker?

(Group Home) Status S - Stolen Manufacturer FORD Model 82 A Color BLU - Blue Vehicle Year 2010 Body Style VN - Van or Panel State MI License Year 2018 Description Blue Ford E-150 XLT R/P for Group Home advises sometime between 6:00pm and the following day at 2:00pm someone took the Company Vehicle for Group Home. From: 06/27/2018 2:52pm To: 06/27/2018 2:54pm 16000 W Eight Mile (Commercial Warehouse) Status S - Stolen Manufacturer DODGE Model GRAND CARAVAN Color SIL - Silver or Aluminum Vehicle Year 2003 Body Style SW - Station Wagon State MI License Year 2019 Description Silver Dodge Grand Caravan 2003 Victim parked his car at his workplace at 7:00am. At approx. 4:54pm he discovered the vehicle had been taken. Surveillance video shows a possible Red Cirrus with a possible Michigan or Ohio plate enter the lot at 2:52pm. The suspect vehicle pulled around the lot and got behind victims Dodge Grand Caravan. Suspect #1 exited suspect vehicle and approached victim s vehicle from the driver s side at 2:53pm. Shortly after, Suspect #2, exited the suspect vehicle from the right rear passenger door, adjusted his hoodie to conceal his face, and then got into the suspect vehicle's right front passenger door. At 2:54pm, both vehicles left the lot.

(Residential- Apartments) Status S - Stolen Manufacturer HYUNDAI Model SONATA Color WHI - White Vehicle Year 2013 Body Style State MI License Year Description 2013 HYUNDAI SONATA WHITE IN COLOR On 06/30/2018 at approx. 10:23am victim came into the front desk to report her vehicle had been stolen. Victim states sometime between 12:00am- 7:46am someone stole her vehicle. The vehicle was parked at her Apartment Complex. Victim stated she may have left the car unlocked and she had an extra key in the center console. The vehicle wasn t entered as stolen because DPD called and stated the vehicle had been involved in an accident with extensive damage. DPD original call for accident came in at 2:50am. The vehicle was unoccupied at the time DPD responded. Tips: Never leave your vehicle running unattended Park in areas where your vehicle is viewable if possible Use commercially available security devices

Larceny: Date/Time Address (block range) Item Taken Details From: 06/26/2018 1:30am To: 06/26/2018 11:30am 28000 Franklin Rd. (Hotel) All Four Wheels & Tires were taken from 2016 Dodge Charger. Victim states that sometime between 1:30am- 11:30am someone stole All Four Wheels & Tires from his 2016 Dodge Challenger. There is no suspect information. From: 06/25/2018 9:30am To: 06/25/2018 11:30am 24000 Northwestern (Commercial- Technology) A Gray Ecco Weed Whip, a Red Max Backpack Blower, and an Orange Ecco Stick Edger were taken. On 06/25/2018 at approx. 9:30am, victim (Employee) was doing miscellaneous grounds work and set a Gray Ecco Weed Whip, a Red Max Backpack Blower, and an Orange Ecco Stick Edger on the ground on the north corner of the parking lot. At approx. 11:30am, victim walked to the north corner of the parking lot and observed the items missing. >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Landscaping businesses and landscapers need to secure their equipment and keep their trailers that are loaded with equipment within sight of where they are working at all times. 06/25/2018 5:29pm 28000 Telegraph Rd. (Storage Units) Lock was not properly placed on the door so the door was unsecured. Victim states her storage unit was broken into and everything that was in the unit was taken. Incident occurred sometime since around Christmas. It is unknown at this time what was taken. From: 06/25/2018 4:30pm To: 06/26/2018 7:30am 18000 Violet (Residential- Apartments) 9- Air Condition Units were stolen. R/P (Representative for Apartment Complex) states that 9- Air Condition Units were stolen overnight. they were located outside of each apartment which is currently under construction. 06/26/2018 5:14pm 27000 Marshall Jewelry was taken. Victim states jewelry is missing from her residence. Victim uses a cleaning company to clean her residence. Information was obtained on subject that cleaned the residence during the time it is believed jewelry came up missing. Southfield Police Detective conducted follow up investigation and discovered the following: Suspect has contacts for Larceny of jewelry and numerous contacts selling jewelry to multiple pawn shops over the last 3 to 4 years. Suspect has been identified and incident is under investigation.

06/26/2018 2:21pm 26000 W Eight Mile Rd. Cash was taken. Victim states that she had her 2009 Chevy Impala repossessed this morning and she went to get some personal belongings out of the vehicle and discovered cash was missing from her wallet in the center console. The vehicle was repossessed in another jurisdiction and it is questionable as to where the theft occurred. 06/26/2018 11:47pm 19000 Hilton Dr. Gucci Purse was taken. Witness states suspect showed up at residence and began taking his personal items due to his girlfriend breaking up with him and her kicking him out. After gathering his personal items, he went into his girlfriend s bedroom and took her Blue Gucci Purse. Witness attempted to take the purse from suspect but he pushed him away and knocked him down. Suspect has been identified and incident is under investigation.

06/27/2018 8:17am 20000 Lahser Rd. (Residential- Apartments) Purse containing wallet, ID, and cash was taken. >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Citizens should never leave anything of value in the interior of their vehicles! >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> On 6/27/2018 while investigating an MDOP of a Ford 500, Officers were informed of a second vehicle that looks like the Ford 500, that had been attacked. The vehicle was a Gold Mercury Montego. Victim states that her purse containing her wallet, ID, and cash was taken from the vehicle. It appears that this may have been a mistake in identity when this vehicle was attacked. The suspect was identified in the other incident. Incident is under investigation. From: 06/28/2018 9:15am To: 06/28/2018 9:25am From: 06/25/2018 8:15pm To: 06/28/2018 7:30am 29000 Telegraph Rd. (Car Dealership) Apple IPhone was taken. 23000 Carriage Hill Rd. Wristlet containing several Credit Cards was taken. Victim is an employee at Dealership. Sometime between 9:15am- 9:25am someone stole her cell phone from her desk in her office. Victim states sometime between 8:15pm and the following morning at 7:30am someone entered her unlocked vehicle and took her Wristlet containing several credit cards. 06/30/2018 7:30am 15000 Town Center (Hotel) Status S - Stolen Manufacturer FORD Model ESCAPE Description 2 WHEELS & TIRES TAKEN FROM FORD ESCAPE Victim states sometime between 4:30pm and the following morning at 7:30am someone stole the two driver side Wheels & Tires from her 2018 Ford Escape. Tips: Ensure your vehicle is locked at all times and valuables are out of sight. Thieves wait for the right time and will move quickly Even if playing sports at a park ensure your vehicle is locked

Armed Robbery: Date/Time Address (block range) Item Taken Details None Reported: Tips: Always be aware of your surroundings and report suspicious incidents or persons to your local police. If something doesn t appear right or someone looks like they are up to no good, call the police immediately Trust your intuition Unarmed Robbery: 06/30/2018 12:23am Southfield Rd. & Webster Ave. Cash was taken from victim. Victim stated that she was walking towards the bus stop when a white male jumped out of the bushes just North of Applebee's and hit her in the back of the head with a metal object. Victim was unsure what she was hit with. Victim described the male suspect as 5'-8"-5"-10" wearing a dark colored shirt and pants. The suspect also had a goatee. The suspect took $600 in cash, which was in victims front right pocket. The suspect removed the money from her pocket and fled S/B on Southfield. Tips: Always be aware of your surroundings and report suspicious incidents or persons to your local police

Be on the Look Out Highlights: Special Attention: Fleeing & Eluding Telegraph Rd. & 8 Mile Rd. Officer attempted to stop a White Lexus ES, bearing a Michigan Handicap Plate for traffic after exiting the Motel known for drugs and prostitution. The Lexus refused to stop, there was a short pursuit and the pursuit was terminated. The vehicle was occupied two times. The driver was a dark-skinned B/M roughly between the ages 25-30 years old with a small amount of facial hair. Driver was wearing a black shirt. The passenger was a dark-skinned B/F with long black hair. The female was roughly between the ages of 21-30 years old. The registration on vehicle registers to a subject that lives in Southfield. Incident is under investigation. Arrests by SPD Officers: CCW/ PWID/ R&C- 1- Arrest 10 Mile/Berg 06/28/18 9:44pm Officers stopped a vehicle for a traffic infraction. While conducting their investigation, Officers discovered that the driver had hidden marijuana in his pants. A subsequent search revealed that the driver had a pistol which was later found to have been taken in a Home Invasion in Feb. 2018. The suspect was arrested and lodged at the Southfield Jail. F/A with Motor Vehicle- 1- Arrest Ten Mile Rd. & Southfield Rd. 06/26/2018 4:51pm Officers were dispatched to location on a report of a traffic crash. Upon arrival, the Officers met with the two subjects that were involved in the traffic crash. The investigation revealed that one of the subjects intentionally struck the other vehicle following a verbal altercation on the roadway. The suspect was placed under arrest for F/A and was lodged in the Southfield Jail. There were no reported injuries.

Special Attention: Fleeing & Eluding N/B Greenfield Rd & Catalpa 06/27/2018 2:49am Officer attempted to stop a Dark Colored Motorcycle for traffic. A W/M was driving and a W/F was passenger. The bike had an unreadable plate. The driver refused to stop and fled at speeds over 100 MPH. The pursuit was terminated. OWI- 1- Arrest 06/30/2018 1:53am Northwestern & Corporate Dr. Officer was assisting a disabled motorist when a Ford F-150 Pick-Up Truck approached his vehicle and drove through his scene. The driver was stopped and investigated for OWI. The driver was arrested and lodged. Special Attention: Larceny of Air Conditioning Units 18000 Block of Violet (Apartments) From: 06/25/2018 4:30pm To: 06/26/2018 7:30am 9- Air Conditioning Units were stolen overnight. they were located outside of each apartment which is currently under construction.
