Just 90 kilometers from Varadero, one of the most famous beaches in Cuba, tourists can find the largest and most important wetland in the whole insular Caribbean; which is located in the Ciénaga de Zapata and was declared Biosphere Reserve by UNESCO. Also, it gathers natural values of flora and fauna -terrestrial and aquatic- unique in the Caribbean.
