Bel-Track Manual V1.03 25/06/2015 Hello pilot and welcome to our Virtual Airliner. You are steps away from logging your first flight for Brussels Airlines VA. Here you will find some instructions to complete your flight. Installing the Bel-Track tool 1. Download the tool from our site in your Crew lounge 2. When downloaded, execute the Bel-Track.exe and follow the instructions 3. If you installed an update, you need to replace the shortcut which you can find in following location: "%:\Program Files (x86)\baggelis.com\bel-track" right click on BrusselsVirtual and make a shortcut. 4. Recommended When Installed, right click on the icon and go to Properties - compatibility Mark the box for administrator mode. 5. Your Bel-Track tool is now completely installed, have fun! 6. If there is an update, you will be noticed by pop-up. Logging a scheduled flight 1. First you need to start your flight simulator and prepare your flight! When ready to fly or push back Open the Track tool! 2. Double click on the Bel-Track icon ( or right click and open as administrator ) 3. When opening for the first time, you need to enter some personal data: Use only the numeric data from your pilot number F.e.: 0007. Enter your password from the site click Save Your name will appear in the middle bottom. (if you don t get the screen automatically, go to the screwdriver icon) 2
4. Check if FSUIPC is connected! ( FS needs to be running! ) 5. Click the Schedules icon to select a flight or search a flight 6. When you made your choice, click the Fly this Flight button 3
7. (1) choose an aircraft you are free to choose any type ( VFR choose Beach Baron )!! (2) Fill in your flight level in feet f.e: 30000 (3) Fill in the route Or Copy paste route from internet source. (4,5) When ready to fly, make sure you are still connected FSUIPC and click start recording 8. If all data was right you will get the following data screen Check the info on the right side of the logger ( here will be some data during the flight ) 9. Have a nice flight!!!! 4
Sending PIREP data 1. (1) After your flight, you need to stop recording 2. (1) File PIREP (2) If you don t want to file the PIREP Clear Pirep data 5
How to sign up and log a tour 1. First you need to go to the tour page of the site http://brusselsairlinesva.be/index.php/tourcenter 2. Click on the detail link next to the tour 3. Scroll down to the bottom of the page and SIGN UP for the tour 4. Go back up, now you can ask the details for the first leg 5. Just above the map, you can select FLY LEG ( You will get a screen with a green V ) 6. Click GO FLYING you will be redirected to the BIDS page to consult more info if needed 7. Now, open Flight Simulator, position yourself on the departure aerodrome and prepare your AC 8. When ready to fly, open BEL-Track, check the FSUIPC green connection and click MY FLIGHTS 9. (1) Check the list Booked Flights those are your BIDS from the site and select the correct flight. Tour flights are marked with a suffix BEL TR ( more than one bid can be in the list ) (2) Click Fly Bid after selection (3) If you want to delete it from the list click Delete Bid This will only delete it from the tracker 6
10. Check the data in the on the briefing page, choose aircraft type, enter your altitude in feet, enter a route if not presented to you, check FSUIPC connection and start recording! 11. After flight, follow steps Sending PIREP data on page 5 12. Repeat procedure from step 5 for following legs 7
How to book and log an event 1. First you need to go to the events page on our site http://brusselsairlinesva.be/index.php/ccevents 2. Click the requested event details you want to participate 3. You will see a slot system but the hours are not binding, it s just an indication of participants Enter Your Voice Callsign ( Pilot number ) and click TAKE..z SLOT 4. Above the Available Slots you will see, Events Flights Book Flight ( this will add your flight to your BIDS in the Crew lounge ) 5. Now, open Flight Simulator, position yourself on the departure aerodrome and prepare your AC 6. When ready to fly, open BEL-Track, check the FSUIPC green connection and click MY FLIGHTS 7. (1) After your correct flight selection ( more than one bid possible in the list), (2) Click Fly Bid after selection (3) If you want to delete it from the list click Delete Bid This will only delete it from the tracker 8

How to log an Assignment In the crew lounge on the site you will find the Assignments settings. If you want to be assigned a flight, set the hour preference for your assignments and click Save. 1. You can choose the flight time range 2. You can choose the department of your assignment here you will be assigned only flights from that timetable Next 1. Open Bel-track 2. Go to My Flights 3. Select your assignment in the list 4. Click Fly Assigned Flight 5. You can choose to reject your assigned flight To receive a new one --- Repeat all above! 10
6. You will be redirected to the briefing page, as usual fill in the Aircraft type, Altitude and route if not presented, check FSUIPC connection and Hit start recording. 7. After flight, and approval of your pirep, you will automatically receive a new assignment in the BelTrack after restart. 11
How to log a Charter/Aeroclub flight A charter flight is a kind of free flight. Used for departures and destinations not in our schedules, For Aeroclub read the specifications on our site 1. Open Bel-Track 2. Go to My Flights 3. Choose Create a Charter Flight 4. Fill in: Aircraft type ( Aeroclub choose light aircrafts ) Choose a random flight number f.e. your callsign or, other number you like to use Origin Departure icao / Off block time Departure time Destination Arrival icao / On Block time Arrival time Flight level in feet / Planned flight time Route 5. Hit start recording 6. After flight follow steps Sending PIREP data on page 5 12
How to log an offline flight if no internet is available ( You need to have started BelTrack at least 1 time with connection to retrieve the database ) 1. Open BelTrack 2. This message will appear and klick OK: 3. Choose schedules to fly a flight from the timetables and follow steps 5-8 in How to log an scheduled flight above 4. You can also fly a Charter flight by clicking on My Flights Create a charter flight and follow steps 2-5 in How to log a charter flight above 5. After the flight you need to end the recording and SAVE PIREP 6. You will get a popup screen: 13
7. You can choose to fill in a saved flight name yourself or just hit save. As you can see, BelTrack already saved the flight for you in the bottom line with date, departure and arrival 8. After saving, and you have internet connection, click the documents icon next to the question mark 9. In the new screen click on Open Report and choose your saved flight, check the data and click resend Rep 10. You should get this warning: 14

How to remove BEL-Track To remove BEL-Track clean for new install, follow the next steps correctly. 1. Open Windows Start 2. Go to all programs 3. Look for the folder Baggelis.com 4. Click uninstall Bel-Track and follow the procedures 5. Go to your local disc Program Files (x86) and delete Baggelis.com 6. Go to your local disc users pc name AppData Local and delete BrusselsVirtual ( make sure hidden folders are visible ) 7. Go to My Documents folder and delete BelTrack folder 8. == Now you have a clean uninstall == 16
