Thank you very much to Sue Johnson for being the reporter for the month. The campout was held March 8-10 at Lake Park GA RV Campground, Lake Park, GA with early bird on the 7th. The campout was attended by 10 rigs; Rich Gavin, Ken and Kath Cody, Diane Frederick, Ken and Sherrie Risberg, Jack and Pat Dean, Bruce and Janet Duvall, Larry and Mary Schmuhl, John and Sue Johnson, Don and Tressa Dishman and former members Ray and Peggy Storey. Duke and Barbara Denson visited for the day on Saturday. Rich arrived early and enjoyed visiting with the owners, managers and others in camp. Thursday, Rich helped Sue and John get parked. Bruce, Janet, Larry, Mary, Diane, Jack, Pat, Ken, and Sherrie all arrived. Everyone worked on getting set up and greeted each other in the streets. We gave plastic bags to Pat and food to Sherrie for the food banks. Rich helped Bruce with the seals on his rig. Larry and Mary took cricket to Camping World. Around 5:30 several went out to eat at Cracker Barrel. Later we went to the building and played a big table of Sevens and a smaller table of Sequence. Sue won the game of Sevens and Janet and Mary won Sequence. Friday dawned a beautiful morning and we all enjoyed how nice the camp was. We walked dogs, went to Camping World, and enjoyed ourselves. Ken helped Rich with his trailer brakes. Don and Tressa arrived around noon. We played bean bag baseball at 1:00. Team 1 was Ken, Sherrie, Tressa, Mary, Jack, Pat, Peggy and Ray. Team 2 was Ken C. Kath, John, Sue, Larry, Bruce, Janet and Diane. The first game was won by team 2. The second game was a tie and was still tied after an extra inning so using the 3rd inning rule Team 1 was declared the winner. We had a lot of fun practicing for the upcoming rally. Some went back to Cracker Barrel for dinner while others ate in. At 7pm we met at the club house and played card bingo. There were a lot of different winners. Saturday morning we had a meeting. After lunch on our own, we gathered for a rematch at bean bag baseball. Team 1 creamed team 2 but fun was had by all. Our aim at the holes was getting better and better with some really clean shots right thru the out hole. Those that needed to cook dishes for the potluck headed to their campers while those not cooking (already in crock pots, cooked at home etc) hung out to visit. We had dinner at 5:30 with all kinds of food. The Irish potluck was a hit. At 7pm we had two tables of Nickel Nickel. We had the 50/50 at the games (we forgot at dinner) and Jack won $30 which he donated back to the chapter donations. Sunday morning it was time to pack up. Several people were going on to other rallies so it was a slow pack up. We had a real nice camp out, the weather was nice and the campground was beautiful. We all enjoyed each other s company

Page 2 and are looking forward to the April camp out. Birthdays 1/18 Herb Sheldon Chapter Meeting Information We did hold a meeting so be on the look out for the minutes to come by email. The wagon master section has been updated with the missing phone number for Oklawaha and the food plans. Reminder the date for December has been changed to December 6-8. Mary is chairing the committee for the table decorations for Okeechobee so if you have Hawaiian items please give her a call. We thanked Rich G for all the snacks he has been bringing to the camp outs. Its an election year so please think about volunteering to help. Please email Rich G every month to let him know if you are coming or if you are not coming this will make his job as wagon master easier. Please be sure to make your reservations for each campout as soon as possible-it helps the campground know how many of us are planning on coming and keeps us from losing our reservation as a chapter. Thank you for the great support of the monthly food bank collection. Please continue to pray for each other-that s what helps bind us together as a chapter family. 2/1 Sarah Edmondson 2/13 Rich Gavin 2/27 Don Dishman 3/13 Sue Johnson 3/14 Diane Frederick 3/15 Ken Risberg 4/8 Lorretta Redderoth 4/11 George Clark 4/17 Becky Clark 5/4 Bruce Duvall 5/12 Larry Schmuhl 5/16 Sherrie Risberg 5/22 Ken Cody 5/24 Bob Edmondson 6/14 Digna Rivera 6/25 Roger Frederick 7/9 Ray Rivera 8/1 Kath Cody 8/7 Duke Denson 8/22 Mary Schmuhl 8/29 Tressa Dishman 8/31 Debby Thompson 9/14 Janet Duvall 9/19 Chick Thompson 9/23 Jean Bogardus 9/26 Pam Frederick 10/6 Rich Frederick 10/21 Tom Kotheimer 10/31 Catherine Webb Wagon Master Information PLEASE LET US KNOW IF YOU ARE OR ARE NOT COMING TO ALL CAMPOUTS. Please send Rich Gavin, wagon master and Pat Dean, president, an email, or make a phone call with your plans. Communication is important. Thanks for your cooperation in letting them know your plans. Campouts are held Friday-Sunday with early birds on Thursday or earlier if desired. Please try very hard to make your reservations at least 30 days in advance. 11/2 John Johnson 11/15 Pat Dean 11/23 Jack Dean 12/5 Jack Webb 12/12 Barbara Denson 12/17 Kathy Kotheimer 12/18 George Redderoth 12/31 Norma Sheldon

Page 6 Bear tales as reported by Ramblin Bear Diane did a great job driving from Jacksonville to Lake Park, GA for the chapter campout. I attended the meeting and was going to get to go home with Don and Tressa to hangout in Jacksonville. Barbara then talked to Tressa and said I could go out of town with her and Duke so at supper that night it became an official change in plans. Diane gave me a hug and a kiss as I start on a new journey with Barbara and Duke. I will be missed but new adventures await me. Oh, and Duke assured Diane he would read to me every night! Diane did a great job of driving me to the campout. I kissed Diane goodbye!! First I went with Tressa and Don and was going to be hanging out in Jacksonville. But then there was a change of plans and I left Tressa to go travel out of state with Duke and Barbara.
