On arrival, you will be met by a local representative who will transfer you to your hotel by a private vehicle. Cape Town is South Africa's oldest city and therefore fondly called the 'Mother City'. Recommended is Victoria & Alfred Waterfront - This bustling shopping, dining and entertainment area flanking the Table Bay harbour is synonymous with a visit to Cape Town. The V & A Waterfront has a wide variety of activities, shops and eateries. Ride the Cape Wheel! The views are unparalleled and it makes a perfect start to a romantic evening or an exciting day out. The duration of the ride is 15 minutes, Shop! With over 450 stores, trading in everything from fashion and jewellery to crafts and groceries, the V&A Waterfront s diverse shopping experience is hard to beat. In the Victoria Wharf Shopping Centre, you will find all the major retailers as well as international brands. Get the girls together and marvel at the selection of diamonds as well as understand the process of unearthing a girl s best friend at the Cape Town diamond museum, follow this with a pamper session at Mangwanani Spa and leisurely cocktails at Alba Lounge. Cruise around Cape Town s historic harbour on one of the cruisers for stunning views of the V & A Waterfront and harbour. The V&A Waterfront has over 80 eateries so there is bound to be at least one that will serve up something to your liking. The V & A Food Market also has a wide variety of food and dessert options for you to enjoy. Lots of beaches in Cape Town - Under the looming Twelve Apostles and Lion s Head, with views out across the turquoise-coloured sea, Camps Bay sports some of the trendiest places in Cape Town to see and be seen. Slowly rotating cable cars climb to the mountain s flat top, from which there are sweeping views of the city, the busy harbor and boats heading for Robben Island in Table Bay. Day 02 Cape Town City Tour with Table Mountain After breakfast, proceed for half day Cape Town City tour on Seat-in-coach including tickets up to the Table Mountain by cable car (subject to weather permitting and can be cancelled at last minute). Take the cable car to the summit of the legendary Table Mountain and get spectacular views of the entire city and the surrounding layout of this southernmost tip of Africa. Then we visit the country s oldest building, The Castle of Good Hope and the Company Gardens, both historically fascinating, further past through Parliament Buildings, City Hall and the Slave Lodge. Colonial changes to colorful as we move up the cobble stoned hills to the Malay Quarter and marvel at the ice-cream colours of the quaint Bo-Kaap homes. The day ends on a sparkling note, as we trace the moves of a professional diamond cutter, who creates diamonds. Your tour ends with the drop back to hotel. Rest of the day at leisure on own. The Cape Peninsula separates two of the great oceans of the world, the cold Atlantic Ocean and the slightly warmer Indian Ocean, which meet officially at Cape Aghulas. Day 03 Cape Town Peninsula Tour After breakfast, proceed for a full day Peninsula Tour on Seat-in-coach its wild, its rugged and is one of the most memorable coastlines, Cape Peninsula and the splendor of Cape Point. See some of the most spectacular views in the world. Visit Chapman s Peak Drive which is famous for its 180 views of Cape

Peninsula. See the charming fishing village of Hout Bay, home to crafts markets and antique shops. Enjoy a short walking tour at the lush Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens which features a vast variety of indigenous species. Experience some of the most spectacular views in the world. The tour begins with a scenic drive along the Atlantic coast passing through the fishing village of Hout Bay. Here you will have the option of taking a short boat trip to Duiker Island to view the Cape Fur seals Seal Island (cruise included). The tour then heads along Chapman's Peak. Drive on to Cape Point and the Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve. Lunch stop at a spot of your choice (on own). Return to Cape Town by way of the Simon's Town naval base where we visit the penguin colony at Boulders Beach (included). Travel via Fish Hoek fishing village and Muizenberg to Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens for a short walking tour. Overnight at hotel in Cape Town. Day 04 Cape Town - Knysna After breakfast, check out and proceed on Seat-in-coach to Knysna (approx 1 hr 20 min drive). Begin your trip through the Garden Route towards the beautiful scenic town of Knysna, the scenery along the way is breathtaking but Knysna itself is just spectacular. En route do the Cape Winelands tour at Stellenbosch with its Cape Dutch architecture and the wonderful heart of the Cape Winelands and is surrounded by stunning wine estates. Explore the fine art galleries and the curios and quaint shops. First take a leisurely drive to acquaint you with the beauty of this world-renowned region, before seeing the wine making process in a fascinating cellar tour. And after the wine is made, taste a glass of the freshest wine. Then proceed to Knysna. Arrive at Knysna and check in at the hotel. Rest of the day at leisure. Knysna is situated in the heart of the Garden Route and is the perfect town to stay while exploring the surrounding areas. Nature enthusiasts will relish in the variety of activities. Try to spot the illusive Knysna Loerie (you will hear its call long before you see it), trace the prints of an elephant in the Knysna Forest and delight in local flora such as coastal Fynbos and the Milkwood Tree. The town of Knysna itself is a hub of craft shops and trendy cafes. Explore the flea-markets for something to wear or something to take home as a souvenir. Day 05 Knysna Full day Oudtshoorn Tour After breakfast, proceed for full day tour of Oudtshoorn - a picturesque town recognised as the ostrich capital of the world. Oudtshoorn is home to over 400 ostrich farms. The world s biggest bird is just one of the many attractions in this area of exceptional contrasts and natural beauty. Further proceed to visit he famous Cango Caves and an Ostrich Farm. In the Cango Valley we discover the spectacular subterranean world of the Cango Caves; a 20 million year old natural treasure at the foothills of the Swartberg Mountains. This world wonder features an impressive display of gold and vermillion dripstone stalagmites and stalactites. Then visit the Cango Wildlife Ranch with various attractions (entrance fees will be applicable for every separate attraction). Attractions Valley of Ancients, Snake Park, Kuranda Forest, Cheetahland, Wallaby Walkabout, Kidzone and Animal Encounters (like Cheetah Encounter, Tiger Encounter, Reptile Encounter) and lots more. If you are brave enough, you can also try the world s first crocodile cage dive (all at an additional cost). Further make your way to an Ostrich farm near Oudtshoorn where visitors will see large flocks of ostriches. For the adrenaline seekers, take the opportunity to ride the world s biggest bird species. Day 06 Knysna Knysna Lagoon Cruise and visit to Featherbed Nature Reserve After breakfast, proceed for a tour of Featherbed Nature Reserve it gives visitors to the Garden Route 'an unforgettable experience on the Knysna Lagoon'. The Lagoon, more accurately defined as an estuary, has five fresh water rivers flowing in from the surrounding Outeniqua Mountains meeting with the surge of sea water from the Indian Ocean through the mighty headlands known as the 'Knysna Heads' - the grand sandstone cliffs towering above the entrance to the Knysna Lagoon. The Featherbed Nature Reserve, situated on the Western Head in Knysna, is the premier eco-experience on the Garden Route.

Take a 4 x 4 trailer drive up the Headland onto the reserve, stopping at spectacular viewpoints. The guide will give you a brief on the flora and fauna. There is also an optional 2.2 km walk through coastal forest and fynbos into ancient sea caves.
