March is National Probus Month We are Celebrating! Join our Celebration at our Monthly Meeting on Wednesday, March 28th at 10:00 am at the Pickering Recreation Complex, East Salon. The Mayor, several VIPS, Probus District Directors, and Durham District Probus Presidents will be in attendance. After a brief business meeting, we will welcome our speakers: Sargent Sheri Tate from Durham Regional Police Services The President and CEO of Lakeridge Health - Ajax-Pickering Hospital The Gift of Life Network - Donors and Recipients You will also have an opportunity to ask our speakers any questions after the presentations. It promises to be an interesting and informative meeting and an opportunity to mix and mingle with other members at the lunch. REMINDERS AND THINGS TO NOTE Fran Sancroft - President 1. Members Mingle Lunch will directly follow our General Meeting on Wednesday, March 28th. Don t forget your red ticket for the luncheon. If you missed purchasing a lunch ticket, please contact either Melanie or Shirlie. Tickets WILL NOT be available to purchase at the meeting as the lunch order will need to be placed a week before the event. Cost is $5.00 per person. 2. Entrance Fee at Monthly Meetings Your management team would like to thank the many members who have cheerfully paid the mandatory $2 fee before entering our meeting room each month. In response to some inquiries we would like to inform you that this money goes toward the cost of cookies served at break as well as helping to cover speaker and facility costs. Your continued support is appreciated.

She has an incredible music background and had led many choirs and groups over the years. We are still looking for an accompanist. Please see Fran at the meeting to sign-up. RODEO - Retired Old Dames Eating Out Our next lunch is at The Fox Goes Free for Tuesday, April 10 at 12:00 noon which is located at 339 Kingston Road on the south side between Altona and Rougemount. Ski Club We had one fun ski outing this winter. Snow conditions, especially for cross-country, were not favourable. We look forward to a warm spring and summer. For next year those interested are looking into joining the North Toronto Ski Club which organizes ski outings that include bus transportation, reduced price ski passes, and a lesson. Happy Spring!
