Who can participate? Anybody who is mentally and physically fit for trekking above 6 years of age. How to reach the base camp: By Road: Bilimora is situated in Navsari district of South Gujarat and well connected with all the major cities of Gujarat by state transport (GSRTC) buses. Bilimora is at 27 Km from Navsari, 20 Km from Valsad and 65 Km from Surat. National highway 8 is 10 Km away meets at Chikhali. Additional Notes: Hatgadh fort is just tremendous as it is on the peak of the Sahyadri ranges. It is located 6Km away from Saputara on Gujarat - Maharashtra border. This is a grand old fort. Hatgadh Fort gives a great view of the surrounding areas. This fort just shows you the enriched beauty of Sahyadri Hills. The history of this fort is also very unique, this has been constructed by the great King of Marathas, Chattrapati Shivaji when he was ruling. On the way to Hatgadh Fort trekker have to travel through a narrow passage that is carved with the rocky terrains. The beauty and calmness of the fort would fill our soles with great pleasure and delight. On the top point of the fort there is a beautiful idol of lord Ganesha which generate purity among the visitors. 3
