Key qualifications: Robert Špendl is a versatile expert acting as a manager of organisations, groups and projects. He has a history of successful work in the fields of sustainable regional development, environmental protection, agricultural development and information technology. Working in very diverse fields he demonstrates his flexibility and excellent communication skills on personal and public level. Mr. Špendl is a pioneer of environmental action planning in Central and Eastern Europe and he is regularly taking part in preparing national and local strategic development plans. In recent years he is particularly active in business zone development projects where his experience range from strategic and spatial planning, organizing and financing of the zones up to detailed design of infrastructure. When managing projects, he combines his broad professional knowledge with capability of team management and involving public to participate. After the tender documents were approved, the municipality has been able to start an EU co-financed water supply project.
