KIDS FOLK FEST 14.06. Kids Folk Fest is a plot gathering both children and parrents, grandparrents and grandchildren, both hosts and guests. Celebrating life it would be: having all people in one place with a wish to share joy and happiness with domestic danse, music, tasting homemade local`s cuisine and watching kids playing around enterpretating and representing all they`ve learned about their culture and tradition.
FOLKLORE EVENINGS 12.07. / 26.07. / 02.08. Folk dance evening is an event happening for a several times through the summer representing domestic cultural heritage followed by music and folk dances performed by a local folklore ensemble from Opatija KUD Zora. Specific manifestation gathers everyone in these areas and represent domestic way of life and habits. The whole coast of Kvarner and the islands are proud of that tradition. The other elements of folklore the musical instruments, dances and traditional costumes add to the integrity of the story. They have also been the inspiration for many Croatian and European artists. Due to its traditionalism and originality, the folklore heritage of Kvarner and Opatija Riviera can be compared with the musical folklore from other Mediterranean areas. CONCERT JOSO BUTORAC & TRIO VIVAK, 30.07. SPIRITUAL MARKET (live concert and film) 08.08. Spiritual Market combines the original jazz album of Vedran Ružić inspired by the journeys of Marco Polo with the homonymous, music accompanying art film.the album is a combination of overtones from Istria and the Far East, following Marko Polo s journey from Venice to China. The film is an abstract display of Marco Polo's journeys in which the present and the past interfere between eachother, as do the imaginative and real characters in time-distorted roles. The creational path of this experimental film is Jazz-like; the accent is set on the motives that have very often expanded out of improvisation and on the-fly-moments and in the end, subsequently merged into a rounded story.
IČIĆI MASTERS 10. - 12.08. Ičići beach is one of the reasons for Ičići's international recogniton. Since 2014 that beautiful beach has become a place where guests and visitors can enjoy top-quality beach volleyball. International beach volley tournament IČIĆI OPEN, built up on a long tradition, has upgraded to IČIĆI MASTERS and due to it`s quality and success.

To spread a story about good Croatian documentaries across the country, winning films from the previous edition of Liburnia Film Festival (festival of Croatian documentary films) take a tour through Croatian cities, in a program called ''Liburnia sails''
''MELKIOR PARAGVAJ'' REGATTA 01.09. The ''Melkior Paragvaj'' is a regatta of traditional sailing boats whose goal is to preserve and revitalise the area`s seafering, fishing and shipbuilding heritage. The regatta includes old traditional pieces: batana, guc, pasara, gajeta, leut and many others which are obligated to be built of old traditional pieces such as: oglavno, sošno, latinsko etc. As it stands on cultural, historic and traditional grounds it offers us a look onto fusion between traditional and contemporary life of a small picturesque Kvarner place, Ičići. Cultural heritage along with tradition are carried on from generation to generation always having in mind the preservation of natural and urban environment. Taken as a whole it is a common wealth in their diversity and uniqueness, and its protection is one of the most important factors for defining and affirming their cultural identity. The main goal of this event is to gather a large number of visitors in order to preserve and to represent maritime, fishing and shipbuilding area`s heritage. By raising awareness of local cultural wealth, people are promoting respect for cultural diversity and human creativity. Due to manifestation, indigenous products and local souvenirs and cuisine are provided in purpose to represent the story of Ičići.
KING OF UČKA 29.09. King of Ucka is a recreational road bike race which leads from Ičići, from sea level, to the highest peak of Ucka mountain - Vojak. The road from Icici, which begins on the sea level and leads to Vojak, the peak of Ucka mountain, is the perfect cycling playground and a challenge for all cycling enthusiasts and hill climb lovers. Whether you are a professional cyclist, an amateur or just a weekend warrior, this climb will not leave you indifferent, it will leave you breathless. To get to the top you will have to squeeze the pedals very hard. But you will be rewarded with a gorgeous view from the top and a fantastic downhill back to the sea. This is Ucka, our mountain, she ask a lot, but she gives a lot. That's why we love her and we're coming back again.
