Average per capita net income: 3.548,00 HRK Union basket in January 2011 in Bjelovar Bilogora County: 6.540,00 HRK Exchange value 1 EUR = 7,4 KN Main natural resources in the county: It is necessary to thoroughly investigate the amount of natural resources in the Bjelovar- Bilogora County, as well as the cost-effectiveness of the exploitation of natural resources (petroleum, coal, sand, clay, rock, thermal springs, etc.) in order to direct the method and duration of use, but with mandatory care for nature, natural valuables and the environment. Of natural resources, the most significant are the oil and gas formations, followed by building rock, brick clay, and in recent times, quartz sand, while the exploitation of coal has been completely abandoned. The granite core of Moslavacka gora offers great potential for the development of the stone industry. The oil field Šandrovac lies on the southwestern slopes of Bilogora. Both natural gas and CO 2 were found in the oil field Šandrovac, at the depth of 1750 to 2050 meters. There are formations of mineral raw materials in the Daruvar area bound to sedimentary, magmatic and metamorphic rock. Non-metals and caustobioliths appear in economically more significant quantities, while metals are recorded only as a smaller mineral appearance, without commercial value. More significant raw materials in the Daruvar area are quartzite, and quartz sand (Jagma, Novo Selo). The basic raw materials for the brick industry are available in almost limitless quantities. The main areas are the edges of Bilogora (Bjelovar, Pavlovac). A special and very significant natural phenomenon and characteristic of this area are the thermal spas (sources of warm medicinal water), which were the first and deciding element for forming the first colony in the area of Daruvar. Petroleum-geological research pointed out certain potential geothermal energy (geothermal sources) that were not systematically tested and observed until now. 1
