Location The City of Sombor is located in the northwest corner of Serbia between european corridors 7 and 10. Extensive network of local and regional roads and railway tracks connects these two corridors through Sombor and its surroundings. International port and customs services are located on the Danube river in Bezdan, just 25km from the center of the city. Sombor has several border crossings and lies 28km from Hungary and 25km from Croatia. Sombor has a great potential of becoming one of the most important commercial and transportation hubs in Serbia and in the wider region as well. Being mostly agriculture environment, companies positioned in Sombor could be able to produce a variety of healthy and organic food products and transport them to the whole of Europe in no more than 24 hours. Long tradition and expertise Joint Stock Company for passenger transport Severtrans founded in 1947. Sombor Today, the main Company activities are passenger transport, technical maintenance of the vehicles and providing bus station services. Passenger transport comprises domestic (city, regional and intercity) and international. Auxiliary activities comprise tourist services, passenger, freight and specialized freight vehicles, agricultural vehicles and machines technical inspection, vehicles maintenance, heavy machining for various motor parts, tachograph calibration. Besides main activity, the Company is registered for performing following activities: freight transport in road traffic, car maintenance and care, services in road traffic, traffic intermediary activities, travel agencies and tour operators activities, motor vehicles sale, motor vehicles spare parts and accessories, various products and goods wholesale, restaurants, beekeeping, bee-honey and wax production, technical inspection and analysis. The Business Registers Agency Decree BD 498/2010 on February 23, 2010 issued license No. OTP 392/2010 for organizing tourist travel thus accepting the request submitted by business entity Severtrans Sombor JSC, the company for passenger transport, Sombor, Filip Kjlajic St. for this license.

The most significant equipment Company vehicles fleet consists of buses of various types and make, domestic and imported. The majority of the vehicles are obtained in period between 1983 and 2000 from domestic manufacturers FAP, FAP-11 OKTOMVRI, ZASTAVA and IKARBUS. Vehicles made by domestic manufacturers from 1990 until 2001 comprise smaller part of the fleet. During last years the fleet was renewed by imported buses (VDL BERKOF, SCANIA), smaller number of domestic manufactured buses is retained for use on shorter routes in domestic traffic.

Market position The Company possesses several dozen busses, garages, workshops, gas station, bus stations and other. The Company performs passenger transport on 15 registered lines in city and regional transport, 21 lines in intercity transport and 9 international lines which are partly operated with companies in partner countries. Currently there is only one line in public passenger transport in the city of Sombor, connecting bus and railway stations passing through the city center. Suburban lines, i.e. lines connecting city territory with suburban settlements are performed to Apatin, Aleksa Šantić, Doroslovo, Bezdan, Bilić, Bački Breg, Bački Brestovac, Bački Monoštor, Bukovac, Gradina, Žarkovac, Kljajićevo, Kupusina, Lenija, Rastina, Riđica, Rančevo, Sivac, Strilić, Odžaci Telečka, Čonoplja,Čičovo and Žarkovac. The Company performs passenger transport on intercity lines: Sombor Novi Sad over Bačka Palanka or Vrbas, Sombor Belgrade over Novi Sad, Sombor Soko Banja, Sombor Vrnjačka Banja and Sombor Subotica. On international lines Severtrans JSC Sombor in restructuring is transporting passengers between Sombor and Teslić, Tenja, Beli Manastir, Kotor, Herceg Novi, then Apatin and Novi Grad, Belgrade and Zagreb, Požarevac and Vienna, as well on several lines to Germany. Severtrans can use 3 buses (302 passengers) in city transport, 21 buses (1.366 passengers) in suburban traffic and 25 buses (1.200 passengers) could be used in international transport. With additional 14 buses with capacity of around 740 passengers available for international transport the Company has the total capacity of 3.608 passengers in 63 vehicles.

Land / Buildings Technical Center Sombor in Filipa Kljajica Street The Company has the usage right for the land in industrial zone, total area 6,5 ha which comprises, besides fenced Technical Center, adjoining land which are not in function of the main activity and there are no Company buildings on that land. The Technical Center itself is located on two cadastre lots with total area of 3,37 ha of rectangular shape approximately 160 x 200m. The buildings on premises, where besides the management building, infirmary and workshop, there are washing line, assembly building, tires workshop, boiler room, warehouse, garage, spare warehouse and technical gasses storage, are all located along the road on southeast side, connected with internal roads and plateaus. Almost half of the land is free of buildings and not equipped with infrastructure, therefore the possibilities for further building and/or expansion of existing buildings are excellent. The total building area on this location is 4.093m2 with two prefabricated garages. The buildings in center are different by technical characteristics and age, but they are spatially sufficient and adequately equipped for vehicles fleet maintenance. Center is well located within industrial zone.

Land / Buildings Bus station Sombor In Bus station Sombor besides main station building with trading and catering premises (total area 889m2) there are several auxiliary buildings with total area of 251m2, while the total area of platforms, parking plateau and maneuvering area is 5.634m2. In 1976 the bus station is planned and built for the purposes of intercity and regional traffic. It comprises of three connected buildings with platforms and eaves.
