Robberies May 2, 4:22 p.m., Central Square, a resident reported being robbed by two people after it became known to them that he had narcotics on him after visiting the dentist. May 8, 2:36 a.m., East Campus, a cabbie reported being assaulted by three men. May 17, 5:50 p.m., Central Square, a Cambridge resident reported an unknown white male took her iphone from her hands. May 22, 1:20 a.m., Cambridgeside Galleria, a man reported that he was robbed of $100 in cash by two males as he approached his residence. No weapon was shown. Arrests May 2, 12:51 p.m., Maurice Taylor, 30, of 45 Reed St., Randolph, was arrested after he slapped a pregnant female in an apartment on Broadway (near the Garment District Area). May 11, 6:54 p.m., Fritzner Bellevue, 27, of 32 Englewood Ave., Everett was arrested on charges of assault with a dangerous weapon after a Cambridge Traffic and Parking Division employee reported being threatened by a male with a handgun on Magazine Street at Auburn Street (near Star Market Area). May 13, 3:10 p.m., Francis Lambert, 56, of 240 Albany St. was arrested after he beat up and robbed another in Cambridge. A victim at Mass. Ave. and Inman Street (Central Square Area) called in and said he was assaulted and robbed, telling the officer that he was attacked after coming out of an ATM. The victim said the attacker punched and kicked him in the head with his shoes when the victim fell down. After getting a description from the victim, police found the suspect, Lambert, who also took cash from the victim s pocket leaving the victim with a bloody nose and small cut on the bridge to his nose and a bloody lip. Lambert was arrested on charges of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon and unarmed robbery. May 22, 2:23 p.m., Jason Hainey, 45, homeless, was arrested after he was found choking another in the Central Square Area at the corner of Magazine and Green Street. Hainey claims that they were horsing around and didn t mean to hurt the victim. As the victim was being choked, he began to have a seizure. Hainey says the victim gave him some narcotic pills later found out to be Tramadol. The victim was treated at a hospital and Hainey was arrested on charge of attempted murder and possession of class E drugs. May 25, 3:28 p.m., Ariana Adams, 19, of 87 Auburn Park, arrested on charges of assault and battery and resisting arrest after a fight with her mother (near Central Square Area). May 26, 11:05 a.m., Christopher Gropper, 46 and Karolann Mary Hilliard, 38, both of 240 Albany St., arrested on charges of drug distributing, school zone violation and conspiracy to violate drug laws after caught doing a drug transaction on Pearl Street (near Star Market Area). May 28, 4:48 a.m., Melvin Gonzalez, 39, of 24 Market St., arrested on Cambridge Street on charges of assault and battery (near Kendall Area). 11:19 a.m., Edward Kamara, 31, of 285 Third St., arrested on charges of assault and battery on Third Street (near the Galleria Area). May 31, 9:25 p.m., David Johnson, 33, of 44 Harrison Ave., Boston, was arrested after he brutally assaulted another man in Central Square. He was charged with attempted murder and two counts of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon after being involved in a fight. He allegedly hit the victim with a rock, choked him and bounced his head off the sidewalk. The victim was taken to a hospital and unable to provide a state-
ment. Witness saw that Johnson provoked the fight and the victim didn t respond, but was immediately attacked by Johnson. June 1, 1:41 a.m., Steve Rochon, 29, of 137 Willow St., Quincy, arrested for driving on drugs and alcohol after several driving violations. Rochon was driving a black Ford and speeding on Mass. Ave., and as he was trying to escape the police, he took a turn on Pearl Street and hit another car before turning and driving the wrong way down Green Street (Central Square Area). Police found him nervous and jumpy with his eyes glassy and bloodshot, reeking of alcohol. 7:34 p.m., Michael Baldasaro, 33, of 532 Cambridge St., arrested for distribution of a Class A drug, possession with intent to distribute a Class A drug, possession with Intent to distribute a Class B drug, conspiracy to violate drug laws and a school zone violation. Anthony Slonina, 50, of 249 Hurley St. was also arrested for possession of a Class A drug and conspiracy to violate drug laws after police saw the men engage in a drug deal on Cambridge Street. (Kendall Area) June 2, 12:26 a.m., Kevin E. Loring, 64, of 27 Spring St., Malden, arrested for civil rights violation and assault and battery with a dangerous weapon in Harvard Square after he flicked a cigarette and assaulted and yelled anti-homosexual slurs at one person and then assaulted another by repeatedly kicking her and yelling racially derogatory slurs. June 3, 10:47 a.m., Daniel Arnost, 25, of 29 Paddock Lane, N. Andover, arrested on Prospect Street for possession of a Class A drug after he was stopped for making a wrong turn from Mass. Ave. onto Prospect Street (Central Square Area). Arnost said he had been clean for two years and on Suboxone at the time, but still appeared nervous and disheveled. Officers looked at his arms and found a fresh needle mark and found a bag of heroin in his pockets. 7:56 p.m., Ray Sargent, 49, of 33 Sciarappa St., arrested for possession of Class A, Class B, and Class C drugs on Cambridge Street (Kendall Area). Police spotted his bicycle going up the wrong side of the street and when Sargent fell across the railroad tracks, the officers went to see if he was okay. When in questioned, Sargent didn t have ID and kept shuffling nervously, fumbling with his pockets. The officers feared he might have an armed weapon and asked to keep his hands out in the open, but Sargent didn t comply and the officers patted him down revealing needles. Sargent admitted he was a heroin user and was arrested for possession of drugs. June 4, 12:45 a.m., Jefferson Geraldo, 35, of 4 Litchfield St., Brighton, arrested on charges of drunk driving after police pulled over a car driving the wrong way up Cambridge Street (Kendall Area). June 7, 7:39 p.m., John Prince, 28, of 5 Almont St., arrested for possession of Class B, possession of Class E, and four warrants after detectives conducting a drug investigation stopped him for suspicious activity on Mass. Ave. in Central Square. 7:44 p.m., Robert Davis, 32, of 53 Cook St., Billerica, arrested for possession of Class A and multiple warrants after he was involved in suspicious activity at a business in Central Square. June 9, 10:27 p.m., Brian Souza, 23, of 29 Chatham St., arrested for aggravated assault and battery after grabbing a female by the neck and pushing her into a radiator at Chatham Street (near Central Square Area towards Harvard Square). June 10, 2:54 a.m., Neftaly Salerno, 21, of 48 Bradford St., Everett, was thrown out of a hotel on Land Boulevard and arrested for disorderly conduct after he continued to scream and shout, obstructing traffic on Cambridge Parkway (near Galleria Mall). He was an active member of the US Army due to return to Afghanistan. He received several complaints of loud noises in one of the rooms and when officers went up to check, he had
been drinking heavily and was fairly intoxicated. As he left the hotel, he began to yell about the mistreatment of veterans and demanding the officers names and badge numbers, which they provided. He continued wandering around the hotel and the streets yelling until he was arrested. Assaults May 20, 2:38 a.m., Harvard Square, police responded to a restaurant in Harvard Square for a report of an assault. May 21, 2:28 a.m., General Harvard Area, a man was assaulted by six individuals and sustained several head injuries after a verbal argument. May 24, 11:49 a.m., General Harvard Area, a past domestic assault and battery was reported. 3:26 p.m., Central Square, a drunk man was reportedly pushed by an unknown man who fled the scene. The victim had a head injury and was taken to the hospital. May 26, 8 p.m., Central Square, a woman reported being assaulted by a man known to her inside a motor vehicle. May 27, 5:40 p.m., Cambridgeside Galleria, a victim reported assault after a suspect threw a soda at her face. May 31, 10:38 p.m., General Harvard Area, a fight occurred where both parties sustained minor injuries and were taken to a hospital. June 4, 7:51 a.m., Garment District Area, two suspects fled in a motor vehicle after assaulting and then threatening a victim with baseball bats. Break-ins May 2, 5:21 p.m., General Harvard Area, an apartment was broken into in an unknown manner and rummaged through. 6:11 p.m., Around Toscanini s, an apartment was broken into when the residents were away. An unknown suspect entered and stole two laptops. May 13, 7:17 p.m., Around The Friendly Toast, a residence was broken into through a forced front door. A laptop and an ipad were stolen. May 18, 5:55 p.m., General Harvard Area, a resident reported that an unknown person pried the front door to his apartment in an attempt to gain access, but access was not gained. May 21, 6:27 a.m., Kendall Square, the manager of restaurant reported that an unknown person broke into rear loading zone door and stole money from the safe. 7:05 p.m., General Harvard Area, a resident reported a past break-in to his residence. May 24, 5:16 p.m., General Harvard Area, a residence was broken into via an unlocked window and several electronics and personal checks were stolen. June 4, 1:26 p.m., Cambridgeside Galleria, an apartment building was broken into and a locked bicycle stolen from the garage. 5:24 p.m., General Harvard Area, an apartment building was broken into and a road bike stolen from the garage. June 5, 1:41 PM, Harvard, a residence was broken into and several items stolen from the building. June 11, 6:51 a.m., Cambridgeside Galleria, a restaurant was broken into and cash stolen from the register. June 12, 10:26 a.m., Central Square, a store was broken into and several cell phones and computer devices were stolen before it opened for the day. Larcenies May 5, 11:16 a.m., General Harvard Area, a resident reported that a diamond ring was missing from his apartment. May 10, 4:04 p.m., Kendall Square, a Cambridge Center hotel reported a guest did not pay their bill. 4:18 p.m., Metropolitan Storage, a Wellesley resident reported a larceny from her storage unit. 7:55 p.m., General Harvard Area, two tires and two rims were taken off a motor vehicle parked overnight in a private residential parking lot. May 11, 5:54 p.m., MIT Museum, a past larceny was reported from a building. May 13, 12 p.m., Harvard Square, a cab driver for a Belmont company reported her passenger evaded a cab fare. May 14, 7:14 a.m., Cambridgeside Galleria, a shop reported suspects purchased approximately $500 worth of merchandise using counterfeit gift cards. 9:13 a.m., Around the Garment District, two men stole some scrap metal from a construction site. May 19, 3:07 p.m., General Harvard Area, a resident reported that his tenant moved out unexpectedly and took two items from him when she left valued at approximately $300. May 27, 3:07 p.m., Around the Garment District, a victim reported his ipad and glasses stolen. June 1, 5:38 p.m., Around the Garment District, a victim her wallet stolen from her purse while she was working at a building. The bank card was used to withdrawal cash and make charges in the Cambridge-Somerville area totaling more than $1,300. June 6, 3:51 p.m., Cambridgeside Galleria, several items were found missing from a store. June 9, 8:30 a.m., General Harvard Area, a church was broken into and a stained glass window was removed and destroyed. Miscellaneous May 2, 2:37 a.m., Harvard, a loud party was reported. Police responded and did not hear any noise in the area. May 5, 9:09 a.m., General Harvard Area, a 9-year-old girl sustained a second-degree burn on her right shoulder when a patron at a business accidentally spilled hot coffee on her. She was taken to the hospital. May 8, 2:15 p.m., Cambridgeside Galleria, police responded to a report of two juveniles caught shoplifting. They were found to be reported missing from Boston and were picked up by their families. No criminal charges were filed in regards to the shoplifting. May 10, 9:52 a.m., Around the Garment District, a handgun was fired at a federal government building. A bullet hole and a bullet were found in an office on the fifth floor but no one was injured.
May 13, 11:36 p.m., Central Square, police responded to a report of shots fired but found no evidence. May 17, 4:03 p.m., General Harvard Area, police were dispatched for a male who had passed out from an apparent drug overdose. After waking the male he was transported to the hospital and was issued a trespass notice from the establishment. May 18, 8:32 a.m., General Harvard Area, the manager of a business reported that an employee of the same building has been making her very uneasy with the amount of times he has contacted her and has followed her to her new place of employment. May 20, 11:08 p.m., Cambridgeside Galleria, a Boston resident reported that two men attempted to rob him by grabbing his shoulder bag, but they were unable to get the bag and fled the scene. May 26, 1:13 a.m., Harvard Square, police responded to complaints of loud noise twice at the Fly Club and made them end the party. June 3, 12:10 p.m., General Harvard Area, three women got into a verbal fight when one pulled out a folding knife and threatened the others before fleeing. A laptop, sunglasses, cell phone and CDs were stolen. 7:27 p.m., Memorial Drive, a Newton resident reported a break-in to his motor vehicle in a parking lot. May 7, 7:36 p.m., Memorial Drive, a motor vehicle was broken into while parked in a parking lot. May 10, 6:28 p.m., General Harvard Area, a motor vehicle was broken into with some items missing. May 12, 3:54 p.m., General Harvard Area, a motor vehicle was broken into. The driver s side window was broken and several items stolen. 4:25 p.m., Behind Toscanini s, a motor vehicle was broken into. 7:01 p.m., Memorial Drive, a motor vehicle was broken into in a parking lot. The front passenger window was smashed and a laptop bag was stolen containing a laptop, network cables, phone charger and earpiece charger. 9:05 p.m., Harvard Square, a motor vehicle was broken into at a garage. A rear passenger window was smashed and some items taken. May 17, 9:27 a.m., General Harvard Area, a Putnam Avenue resident reported that someone broke into her motor vehicle and stole her purse while she was parked.

May 20, 4:29 p.m., Memorial Drive, a victim stated that an unknown suspect entered his vehicle by smashing the front window while it was parked. May 21, 1:25 p.m., Memorial Drive, a non-resident reported that multiple electronics were stolen from his motor vehicle while it was parked in a parking garage. May 22, 7:40 a.m., Mt. Auburn Hospital, a Hyde Park resident reported that someone broke into her motor vehicle while it was in the garage. 5:58 p.m., Cambridgeside Galleria, an Amherst resident reported that he found his vehicle with the right rear window smashed and his laptop stolen. May 25, 2:37 p.m., Memorial Drive, a motor vehicle was broken into in a parking lot. The rear passenger window was smashed and a laptop taken from the back seat. 9:34 a.m., Cambridgeside Galleria, a motor vehicle was broken into overnight. A window was smashed and two laptops taken. 10:47 p.m., Central Square, a motor vehicle was broken into and a GPS stolen. June 10, 8:01 p.m., Central Square, a motor vehicle was broken into while parked in a lot and $35 in cash stolen.
