It's November and that means Good-Guys at West World. What can I say that you haven't heard for the past 11 years? Brenda and I are almost ready, we got T-shirts, and duty slips, for you, and registrations are in. Each of you should get an entry mailed directly to your home. If you were not at the meeting to fill one out I did it for you. As usual we look a little light in the parking assignments. Most everything else seems OK. I'm just not sure what changes West World or Good Guys have made to last years plan. I hope none; last year seemed to work very well. For the club parking area we will be in one of 2 spots. The vote was to remain on the field, and if possible on the East side running north and South. Harry said we could have it IF there were not some Vendor related plans for it. If so we will go back down where we have been the past 2 years. Won't know for sure until that Thursday morning. We will be having the full meal deal buffet on Saturday. We have about 15 Scottsdale chapter members helping with the host club duties again, that helps a lot. The Prez Sez: The tour this year has been slow to develop. Here's the line up as of now. First stop will be a private collection (AJ's) 24th Street and Carefree Highway. Then back to Deer Valley area where they are filming the reality show with McClures people. 3rd stop will be lunch at Ciadella's interiors out by Tempe Diablo Stadium. After lunch it's over to Mesa for Chester's H/D and maybe a demo ride? Then Chandlers Garage Town, several units will be opened up for us to inspect. Then over to Squeeg's new Chandler location for the kick-off party. Steve Bankert will be running sweep for the tour in the DCI lift/ Doehrman shop truck. Lets get geared up and come out to West World energized and make this the best year yet. Be sure to hang around in the afternoons and help with our yellow goodbye tunnel. The participants appreciate that, and it makes our event special.
