Why us? Camp Mornington provides the opportunity for ADVENTURE, education and fun in a beautiful and relaxing environment, just two hours from Perth. Camp Mornington is a place for everyone, with schools, corporate groups, sporting teams, community organisations, church groups and even families enjoying our facilities! Originally a saw mill, The Federation of WA Police & Community Youth Centres (PCYC) acquired the land in 1978 and turned it into a camp facility accessible to all. At Camp Mornington we have two separate lodging facilities that can sleep up to 130 guests in bunk bed, dorm-style accommodation. We allow tents on-site, for those with an extra sense of adventure and for those that don t want to rough it overnight, we also cater for day trips. Our activities are designed to challenge and engage participants, allowing them to explore their abilities and reach beyond their limitations. We have over a dozen structured activities on offer, including one of the highest ropes course in WA, for those that want to test their nerves. After a full day of fun and adventure we know you can build quite an appetite. That s why we have a qualified chef onsite, to make sure your group has all the right types of fuel to keep them going.

Camp Mornington has a variety of personal challenge and team building activities on offer, delivered by qualified and highly experienced staff. In the lead up to your camp or day trip we will work with you to determine the best activity program to suit your group s age, size and budget. HIGH ROPES Completely revamped in 2013 our high ropes course is designed to challenge even the most confident individuals. Our instructors are trained to help participants push through personal fears and constraints to reach new heights literally! MID ROPES Our Mid Ropes course is designed for younger groups who are not yet ready to tackle the High Ropes. We have two sides to the course, both designed to build confidence and balance. CLIMBING WALL 12m high with a variety of holds for the participants to choose from, offering varying levels of difficulty. One wall is vertical and the other has a major overhang, providing a great competition opportunity between groups.
Personal Challenge Activities ABSEILING This activity provides an experience of outdoor adventure and can be customised to suit your group s needs. We have the option of a 10m or 20m abseil (for the more advanced groups), which can be either flat cage or overhang. BUSH BIKING Bush Bikes start with some basic skills on the oval followed by your choice of our different levels of riding tracks throughout our 117 hectare property. The program can be modified if required to include an emphasis on problem solving and navigation. ARCHERY Learn about bow design and safety before being instructed on how to shoot at a designated target. A competitive element can also be introduced if desired.
TEAM Building ACTIVITIES CANOEING Participants are taught skills to successfully canoe on flat water, while having some fun in our on-site dam. RAFT BUILDING This activity provides the opportunity for groups to utilise their team skills to work together to build a raft using two different methods of construction. The rafts are put to the test during a variety of activities. LOW ROPES This activity is based on a series of challenges low to the ground. This is a group activity designed to promote teamwork, trust, leadership skills and communication. The activities consist of groups spotting each other while undertaking a balance course, climbing over walls, lifting, undergoing trust falls, problem solving and much more! ORIENTEERING Break into small teams and make your way around our 117 hectare property, using only a map and compass to complete a series of challenges. Each team is awarded points as they complete the challenges and the team with the most points wins. Other activities that we can organise include: Initiative Games & Ice Breakers, Shelter Build/Survival Skills, Orienteering with Activities, Crate Climbing and Surviving Your Teens Educational workshops.
