Commercial Burglaries: Date/Time Address (block range) Method of Entry Description/Suspect Information 12/09/2015 4:56am 18000 W Eight Mile Rd. (Commercial- Restaurant) Attempted to pry open the back door. N/E window was then broken out and entry was gained into the business. Officers were dispatched to 18000 Block of W. Eight Mile Rd for an alarm. (Commercial- Restaurant) Four unknown suspects attempted to pry open the back door to the restaurant and broke the door handle. The suspects then broke the northeast window of the restaurant and gained entry. One cash register containing an undisclosed amount of money was stolen along with some misc. change from another open cash register drawer. SUSPECT INFORMATION: Suspect #1 - U/M, heavy build, wearing a black ski mask, black sweatshirt with a red shirt hanging out the bottom, black pants, and tan boots. Suspect #2 - U/M, normal build, wearing white ski mask, gray full zip sweatshirt with a red shirt underneath, black pants with four white stripes at knee level, and white shoes. Suspect #3 - U/M, thin build, black mask, black hat, black North face jacket, black pants, and tan shoes. Suspect #4 - B/M thin build, no mask, black North face jacket with hood worn, black pants, black and white shoes.

Victim states sometime between 10:35pm and the following morning at 9:10am someone forced entry into her apartment. Nothing was disturbed and nothing is missing. Victim suspects it s her neighbor who may suffer from some type of mental illness. Officers investigated further and discovered that it was in fact the neighbor next door that forced entry into apartment. The female was located and stated that she broke into apartment because she thought she heard her mother inside the apartment screaming for help. The suspect was taken into protective custody and transferred to Common Ground for evaluation.

Screen was removed from window. 25000 Grand Concourse Entry is unknown. >>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Victim should have called the Police when he located suspect hiding in the residence! >>>>>>>>>>>>>> Victim advises sometime between 11:00am 6:30pm someone gained entry into residence through an unlocked kitchen window. The residence was ransacked. Several items are missing from the residence. Victim states she owns the home. The house is a transition house where people go when they age out of foster care. This past summer victim had three males living in the home. All three subjects were scheduled to move out on October 9th 2015. One of the subjects was given a temporary extension to live in the home because he had not place to go. On Thanksgiving day victim went to the home and discovered items were missing from the home. The one subject that was allowed to stay was the only person living in the home. He was advised by the victim to leave the residence and he complied. The house has remained vacant since. On 12/7/2015, victim went to the house and checked the house and discovered the subject that was asked to leave was hiding in the basement. Victim walked the subject out of the house. Victim then discovered that additional items are missing from the home.

From: 12/07/2015 11:30am To: 12/11/2015 11:30am 12/13/2015 2:30am 28000 Fontana Dr. No signs of forced entry. 23000 Providence Dr. (Residential- Apartments) Attempt Only. Window screen was bent. Residence is a HUD House. R/P advises that sometime between 12/07/2015 @ 11:30am and 12/11/2015 @ 11:30am someone gained entry into the residence by unknown means and took the Hot Water Tank from the basement. Victim stated someone rang his doorbell at 2:00am. Victim didn t answer the door because he wasn t expecting anyone. The following morning at 6:30am victim discovered that someone attempted to gain entry into his apartment at a lower level bedroom window. The exterior window screen had been bent. (Commercial- Car Dealership) Status S - Stolen Manufacturer CHEVROLET Model IMPALA Color Vehicle Year 2012 Body Style State MI Description MOTOR VEHICLE Status I - Information Only Manufacturer DODGE Model NITRO Color RED - Red Vehicle Year 2009 Body Style 4D - 4 Door State MI Victim advises that sometime between 6:15am- 9:20am someone stole her vehicle. Victim s vehicle was recovered in another jurisdiction on Tuesday December 8, 2015 @1:30pm. The vehicle was impounded as an abandoned vehicle. R/P (Rep. from dealership) stated the dealership did repairs on suspects 2009 Dodge Nitro. All was covered by her vehicle warranty except an unspecified amount. Suspect decided not to pay the balance, walked to her car and drove off without paying balance on her bill. On 12/10/2015 Service Manager from Dealership contacted our Department and advised that the matter had been resolved.

Victim noticed his vehicle missing the following morning at approximately 6:00am. Victim advises that sometime between 12/11/2015 @9:30am and the following day at 9:30am someone entered victim s vehicle by punching out passenger door lock. Suspect(s) entered the vehicle and removed the ignition cylinder. The cylinder was lying on the center console. (Attempt Auto Theft Only)

12/13/2015 1:19am 16000 North Park Dr. (Residential- Apartments) Status R- Recovered Stolen Manufacturer CHRYSLER Model SEBRING Color MAR - Maroon or Burgundy Vehicle Year 2001 Body Style 4D - 4 Door State MI License Year 2016 Officer was on routine patrol at Apartment Complex in the 16000 Block of North Park Dr. Officer located vehicle that had a punched door lock and the ignition had been removed. A lein check revealed that the vehicle had been reported stolen out of another jurisdiction. Vehicle was recovered and the other jurisdiction was notified. Tips: Never leave your vehicle running unattended Park in areas where your vehicle is viewable if possible Use commercially available security devices

Unknown Model. Victim states when she walked passed her vehicle (1998 Pontiac Mini Van she noticed her license plate was switched with another license plate. Victim is unsure when the last time she seen her correct plate on her vehicle. The License Plate that is now on victim s vehicle was reported stolen out of another jurisdiction. Victim advises that sometime between 9:30pm and the following morning at 7:20am someone took All Four Wheels & Tires from victims 2015 Chrysler. 12/08/2015 7:08am From: 12/07/2015 9:00pm To: 12/08/2015 5:15am 27000 Northwestern (Hotel) 29000 Lancaster Dr. (Residential- Apartments) All Four Wheels & Tires were taken from 2014 Jeep SRT. Radio/ Navigation System were taken from 2007 Jeep Liberty. Victim advises sometime between 8:00pm and the following morning at 7:08am someone took All Four Wheels & Tires from his 2014 Jeep SRT. Victim advises sometime between 9:00pm and the following morning at 5:15am unknown suspect(s) broke the front passenger window of victim s vehicle and took the vehicle's Radio / Navigation System. The Radio/Navigation System was standard for the 2007 Jeep Liberty.

From: 12/07/2015 11:00pm To: 12/08/2015 2:00pm 28000 Franklin Rd. (Residential- Apartments) Radio/ Navigation System were taken from 2007 Jeep Grand Cherokee. Victim advises sometime between 11:00pm and the following day at 2:00pm someone broke out window on victims 2007 Jeep Grand Cherokee and took the Stereo/ Navigation System. 12/07/2015 3:42pm From: 12/07/2015 2:50pm To: 12/07/2015 3:30pm 19000 Nine Mile Rd. (Commercial- Business) Purse with contents was taken from victims 2014 Ford Taurus. 20000 Greenfield Rd. Gym Bag and Wheel Chair were taken from 2002 Plymouth Voyager. Victim stated that her vehicle was parked at her business in the 19000 Block of Nine Mile Rd. Victim stated she left her purse in her vehicle while she was at work from 8:00am- 3:00pm with the doors unlocked. When she came out after her shift she noticed her purse was missing. Victim stated he parked his 2002 Chrysler Voyager in the parking lot in the 20000 Block of Greenfield Rd @ 2:50pm. Victim returned to his vehicle around 3:30pm and discovered his front passenger door lock had been punched. Victim checked the interior of the van and discovered his mother's wheel chair and his gym bag had been stolen.

(Commercial- Fitness Center) Status S - Stolen Description HANDGUN >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Citizens should never leave cash, jewelry, handguns or anything of value in the interior of their vehicles!! >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Victim stated he parked his 2011 Lincoln Navigator in the parking lot in the 28000 block of Telegraph (Fitness Center) at 3:05pm. Victim returned to his vehicle at 4:10pm and discovered his front passenger window was broken out. Victim checked the interior and discovered an envelope containing undisclosed amount of cash was missing from a file folder, an envelope containing jewelry and a Handgun was missing from the center console. From: 12/09/2015 8:30am To: 12/09/2015 4:45pm 25000 W Twelve Mile (Commercial- Office Building) Cash & Jewelry were in a lockbox in the back of the vehicle. A handgun was also stolen from the vehicle. >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Citizens should never leave anything of value, especially a handgun in the interior of your vehicle. >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Victim parked his 2010 Chevy Tahoe in the rear parking lot in the 25000 Block of 12 Mile Rd at 8:30am. Victim returned to his vehicle at 4:45pm and discovered his rear hatch door window had been shattered. Victim checked the interior and discovered it was ransacked. Victim had a lockbox sitting on the floorboards in the back of the vehicle that was stolen. The lockbox contained an unknown amount of cash, jewelry, and a handgun.

From: 12/09/2015 2:15pm To: 12/09/2015 6:00pm 28000 Telegraph Rd. (Commercial- Fitness Center) Nothing is missing from victims 2004 Pontiac Grand Prix. Victim advises while he was at Fitness Center between 2:15pm- 6:00pm someone drilled a hole under the door handle of his vehicle and entry was made into the vehicle. Victim recovered a wallet that belonged to someone else inside his vehicle. It s believed that the wallet belongs to another victim of Larceny from Auto. Nothing is missing from this victim s vehicle. From: 12/10/2015 10:00pm To: 12/11/2015 6:30am 16000 North Park Dr. (Residential- Apartments) All Four Wheels & Tires were taken from 2014 Cadillac XTS. Victim advises sometime between 10:00pm and the following morning at 6:30am someone took All Four Wheels & Tires from his 2014 Cadillac XTS. The Cadillac was parked in the n/e parking lot. The Cadillac was parked in between two other vehicles in a low lighted area. Victim advises that sometime between 11:00pm and the following morning at 10:00am someone took All Four Wheels & Tires from his 2012 Jaguar XF.

From: 12/10/2015 8:00pm To: 12/11/2015 12:18pm From: 12/13/2015 3:00am To: 12/13/2015 10:00am 29000 Rock Creek Dr. 25000 W Twelve Mile (Residential- Apartments) Status S Stolen License Plate Description Standard Blue and White Michigan License Plate. Taken from 2007 Ford Focus. Stereo/ Navigation System was taken from 2007 Chrysler Sebring. Tips: Ensure your vehicle is locked at all times and valuables are out of sight. Thieves wait for the right time and will move quickly Even if playing sports at a park ensure your vehicle is locked Victim advises sometime between 8:00pm and the following day at 12:18pm someone took his license plate from his 2007 Ford Focus. Victim advises his vehicle was parked in his driveway. Victim stated she parked her 2008 Sebring in the parking lot of her Apartment Complex on 12/11/2015 around 6:00pm. Victim returned today around 3:00pm and discovered her rear driver side window shattered. Victim checked the interior of the Sebring and discovered her Stereo/Navigation Unit had been stolen out of the dash.

Victim stated that he was robbed at gun point for his wallet. Victim states he was smoking in the parking lot when an unknown B/M, 20 s approached him asking for a light. After the victim gave him the light the suspect drew out a hand gun, pointed at him and demanded him to empty his pockets. Suspect then took victim s wallet that had an undisclosed amount of cash, took the cash and then dropped the wallet before running west on 12 Mile Rd. Victim stated that suspect was wearing a black skull cap, black hoodie and blue jeans. 12/12/2015 12:19am 24000 W Twelve Mile (Rear of Business) Backpack containing several items was taken from victims 2014 Dodge Charger. >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> The victim in this incident should have immediately called 911 when he observed the window on his vehicle broken out and a subject in the back seat of his vehicle. Victim put himself in harm s way when he confronted suspect! >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Officers were dispatched to location on a report of an armed subject. Upon arrival, officers met with the victim. The victim stated that he is a Security Guard at a nearby business. The victim left the business to retrieve something from his vehicle. The victim approached his 2014 Dodge Charger and noticed that the rear driver s side window was smashed out. The victim also noticed someone sitting in the back seat. The victim began to make contact with the suspect and asked him what he was doing. The suspect produced a handgun and exited the vehicle with victims backpack containing numerous items from inside the vehicle. The suspect fled on foot eastbound on 12 Mile. The victim stated that a White 4- Door Vehicle pulled out of the lot just prior to the incident and he believes it was possibly involved. The suspect was described as a B/M, 20 years old, and 6-0 wearing a Red CK Shirt, a Tan Vest, Blue Jeans and Timberland Boots. Additional Info: A cell phone was left inside the vehicle that possibly belonged to the suspect. Incident is under investigation. Unarmed Robbery: 12/13/2015 12:00pm 27000 Northwestern (Hotel) Motorcycle Club Vest was taken from victim. Victim advises that he used to be a member of a Motorcycle Club. Victim stated about a year ago, he had a falling out with the President of the Motor Cycle Club. Due to the falling out, he was stripped of his Club Vest. Victim has since bought another vest from a former member of the Motorcycle Club. On this date victim was attending a function for this Motorcycle Club. Suspect (Sgt. at Arms for Club) caught wind of victim having another jacket and requested to meet with him. Victim granted that request and suspect came to victim s room. Suspect stated to victim. We can do this the easy way or the hard way. Either way I m not leaving this room until I have the Club Vest. Victim felt threatened and turned the jacket over to the suspect. Special Attention: Marijuana Smuggle 12/09/2015 6:19pm 21000 Block of Melrose Ave. (Commercial Package Carrier) A Southfield Police K-9 Unit was dispatched to business in the 21000 Block of Melrose Ave for a package that smelled like marijuana. The Southfield Police K-9 alerted on package that staff stated smelled like marijuana. The package was opened by staff and an undisclosed amount of Suspected Marijuana was recovered. Incident is under investigation. Traffic Arrest/ NOLOP/ CCW- 1- Arrest 12/07/2015 12:31pm W Eleven Mile Rd & Evergreen Rd. Officer observed vehicle leaving Hotel in the 27000 block of Central Park Blvd. Vehicle was stopped for Tinted Windows. The vehicle reeked of marijuana. The driver was arrested for NOLOP. The driver was also charged with CCW. There was a knife recovered from the driver s purse.

MDOP- 1- Arrest 12/08/2015 9:16pm 19000 Block of Raleigh Circle South Officers were dispatched to the 19000 Block of Raleigh South reference an MDOP in progress. Victim was reporting a person intentionally striking her vehicle. Upon arrival, victim states she and her male friend were returning from a restaurant. As they pulled into the Complex in the victims Saturn, the victim observed a vehicle following behind her. As it turned out it was her male friend s ex-girlfriend. The ex-girlfriend then rammed her vehicle three times causing damage to her vehicle. The suspect was located and she was taken into custody for MDOP.

Disorderly Person/ Resisting Obstructing- 1- Arrest 12/09/2015 2:34pm Telegraph Rd. & W Twelve Mile Rd. Officers responded to Disorderly Person refusing to get off a Smart Bus. Suspect was upset that he had to pay $2.00 for bus fare because he didn t have a Smart Bus ID Card. (It s $1.00 if you have a Smart Bus Card) Suspect was yelling and screaming profanities at the bus driver. He had caused a disruption and there were threats towards the bus driver and the approximate 15 other passengers on the bus. The bus driver stopped the bus, called the police and advised suspect that she was going to give him a free pass to take another bus and he had to get off the bus. Suspect refused to get off the bus. Officers arrived and advised suspect he had to get off the bus or he would be arrested for Disorderly Person. The suspect stated he wasn t getting off the bus. Officers continued to try and convince subject to get off the bus and also advised him that he would get a free pass to ride another bus. Subject still refused to get off the bus. When Officers advised suspect he was under arrest for Disorderly Person and to stand up he resisted and refused to get out of his seat. Officers had to use the necessary force to secure & take suspect into custody. Suspect was transported to Southfield Jail w/o any further incident.

Disturbing the Peace/ Resisting Obstructing- 1- Arrest 12/10/2015 2:50am 25000 Block of W Twelve Mile Rd (Apartments) Officers responded to a disturbance (woman screaming in the parking lot) at Apartment Complex. Officers arrived and observed woman screaming in the parking lot. Officers continued to monitor woman who was with a male subject that was walking her into an apartment building, up to the third floor and into an apartment. The woman was screaming the entire way into the apartment. Additional Officers arrived on scene and together Officers went to the apartment to investigate. The woman was still screaming inside the apartment. Officers made contact with the woman that was screaming. She was highly intoxicated and wouldn t cooperate with Officers when they attempted to investigate. The suspect continued to cause a disturbance. The woman was taken into custody for Disturbing the Peace.

OWI/ CPL Violation- 1- Arrest 25000 Block of Telegraph Rd. Officers were dispatched to business (Restaurant) on a report of a male customer portraying himself as an FBI agent to an intoxicated female patron. The restaurant s employees thought this was odd and felt that he may have ill intent towards the female he was talking with. The male also lifted his jacket and showed that he had a sidearm on his person. Officers arrived and were told that the male had left the premises. The female was intoxicated and unable to provide clear information as to what occurred. The male was found in the parking lot next door attempting to drive away. The male was stopped and was found to be intoxicated and in possession of a firearm. The male was arrested for OWI/Possession of a firearm. The arrested party was not an FBI Agent or Law Enforcement Officer.

Possession of Heroin- 1- Arrest 8 Mile Rd/ Evergreen Rd. Officers stopped a vehicle for traffic. Driver threw out 8 bindles of suspected heroin when the officers tried to stop the vehicle. Suspected Heroin was recovered by Officers. A Southfield Police Evidence Technician Field Tested the suspected Heroin. Result was positive for possible presence of Heroin. Driver was arrested and lodged. OWI- 1- Arrest 10 Mile Rd/ Telegraph Rd. Officer initiated a traffic stop for speeding at 10 Mile & Telegraph. An OWI investigation was conducted and the driver was arrested for OWI. OWI- 1- Arrest 8 Mile/ Lahser Rd. Officer observed a vehicle driving erratically and Disregarded A Red Traffic Signal. The vehicle was stopped and an OWI investigation was completed. The driver was arrested for OWI and lodged.

OWI- 1- Arrest Northwestern & Beck Rd. Officer observed a vehicle driving erratically and travelling above the posted speed limit. The vehicle was stopped and an OWI investigation was completed. The driver was arrested for OWI and lodged. F/A- 1- Arrest 30000 Block of Southfield Rd. 5:56pm (Commercial- Restaurant) Officers responded to Restaurant on a report of an assault between employee and employer. The manager verbally reprimanded an employee who then retrieved a CLUB anti-theft device and struck manager with it several times in the lower body area. Manager sustained several injuries. As the officers were investigating at the scene, the suspect s girlfriend drove him to the station to write a statement. Officers completed their investigation and the suspect was arrested for F/A and lodged.
