Infrastructure ii. Power & Maintenance iii. Building iv. Park Manager v. Drainage vi. Water System vii. Garbage viii. Marina & Boat Launch ix. Development Committee x. Lot Sales xi. Website & Document Mgmt. xii. Social Committee xiii. Boat storage sites and common area parking Meeting called to order 10:29 a.m. by Jim Merryfield. Motion to accept agenda. Welcome to semiannual quad and golf card complaint session!! Laughter!!! Thank you to the members for coming. Thank you to the Development Committee. Sold 4 lots: Welcome to new members: Marty and Kim Wilcox, Pete and Lenore Olsthorn, Robert Lychak. Survey 5 major items 1) General and annual meeting, 2) Boat launch, 3) boat parking, 4) Roads, 5) noise regulations. New Boat launch: Thank you to Doug Frunchuk, Vic Kostura and Don Ashton. Great job, Alberta Environment approved and complimented us on the care taken to protect the lake while it was being done.

Old Cement pads to be moved to the south beach and installed in the muddy area in the lake to establish stable access path for marina install/removal. Extra cement forms will be used to add onto the new launch as necessary. Bret Wetthuhn repaired our road even before the survey went out. Beach has been tended to as often as possible. Thanks to Frank, Harold and John Kully who helped keep the beach as clean as possible. Seagulls are a problem, how to keep them off the beach is to be determined. New electronic deterrent device to be purchased for the 2015 season. Boat storage common area members requested to move items off of the common area to their boat storage spot. Otherwise it has to be on the members lot or removed from the resort. We now have a committee setup to address the two boat storage areas. Control of noice and disorderly behaviour try to be more proactive about the rules by sending emails weekly. Time noisy activities to wind down is 11:00 p.m. Serious breach of safety someone threw a propane tank into the gas compound as well as the water was drained from the fire truck. Looking at purchasing a security camera. Development Committee has been doing a great job with keeping on top of the permits approved and follow up of the development. 1) Action item from 2014 AGM Linda Miller 30N, Don Wolfe seconded that we fine 200.00 per offense for infractions of off road motorized vehicles including golf carts, atvs and dirt bikes. Motion is defeated. Harold Pawlecko 1AS moved, Jim Wrista 1WS seconded, that the board be given the ability to fine members of the park up to $200.00 per incident for motorized vehicle infractions presented to the park manager in writing. The Park Manager will refer all complaints forward to the board for review and decision. The motion passed. Mark McBain 2S asked for clarification on the up to $200 fine for ATV and golf cart infractions. Lorne Kurtz 20S suggested that Pelican Bay license plates could be suspended by the manager in lieu of fines, written warning etc. Jim will include in the discussion over the winter. Bob Griffith - too much for Frank to do. He already has a full job. We know that we have these types of vehicles driving without Frank. Jim board works with Frank and Frank is taken/given responsibility.

Frank is already frustrated with the behavior when he approaches lots or people to review infractions. Neil Evans 37DWS- Does the rule state it needs to be on the back of the vehicle? Laura Pawlechko 1S - stated that the bylaws say it must be visible. Karin Merrryfield 13N stated that the people are very ignorant when approached by members regarding an infraction. Neil Godlien 61S - Can I only take one grandchild at a time? Harold Pawlechko 1S - we need to have a committee set up to develop a set of rules to determine what is right. Committee Reviews: Jim Merryfield 13N -Boards position is the common area is any area outside your tree line. Common area parking continues to be a problem, the Board will continue to work with the membership with the hopes that a resoultion can be found. Bob Griffith 1WS - common area parking is allowed on weekends. Jim Merryfield - quoted rule #1.19. Bonnie Thurston- every lot is unique, will the board work with the member to determine what will work for their lot? Jim Merryfield 13N no dispute resolution in place at this time we have to get to the point where there is a resolution. Lindsey 51AS - people should add reasons why they need the changes - put in writing. Karin Merryfield 14N outside tree line is now being followed by the Development Commitee. New lots changing hands, buyers are advised. Tree line is now being established as lot line. Jim Merryfield 13N this is an on leash resort. Doug Seymour 36S - keep all member dogs/guest dogs on members lot, or on leash at all times. Laura Pawleckho 1S- can you clarify if our name is given to the offender if we make a complaint? 27N - Frank does not need to say who filed the complaint. Laura Pawlechko 1S - feels that she would like Frank not have the name. Blair Curtis 16S previous to this we had to sign to submit a complaint. No new members are coming to the meeting. Harold Pawlechko 1S submit your comments here regarding profanity and derogatory behaviour. Join the board, if you are not prepared to join the board, then remain quiet. Follow the rules. Doug Seymour 36S read rules Jim Merryfield 13N Thank you to Travis McNeil 28S who donated tires for Franks truck. We have had lots of equipment donated this year which supports our operating budget. This year the operating budget is upwards of 210K. Thank you to those who have dontated. Our Contingency fund grows from transfer fees.

Purple city event put on from donations. Chinese lanterns are considered a firework not allowed. Larry Bodnarchuk 32S Could we add a note on billing that if you would like to donate fireworks/cash to outdo Tranquility Bays fireworks please let the Social Committee know. Mike Frost reported on the South washroom can t find a contractor to complete the work. Frank gets frustrated with members who feel they can yell at him. Water drainage seems to be a non issue this year. Garbage bins will remain around the park unless they are abused. Doug Seymour 37S are any outside users using the bins outside the gate. Harold Pawleckho 1S nothing mentioned. Marina and boat launch report by Jim Merryfield 13N Launch is now parallel to the dock. Dock is full, all previous slip leasing members have been paid out. Karin Merryfield 13N Development Committee thank you to all. Judy Black is the board liaison. Dan Black imagine what our park would look like if we gave all that was asked. Lot sales as previously voted the park has one left for sale. Nothing new to report. Reid Deforest Do we have a sales Cap on how many more? Social committee Lorne Kurtz will be asking for volunteers to help with events. Boat parking: Mike Frost - Basic guidelines see attachment. If you don t use it here, don t bring it here. Going further if we decide to add or expand a storage area, perhaps we will look at that. 31S How may on waiting list for spots, no waiting list in place. Judy Black - asked for everyone to please mark your lots with names and lot #. Neil Evans 36DS it was at the previous meeting to add to the invoice a request to ensure your lot is marked. Leslie Preston 51S -visiting friend had car vandalized, paint scratched to point of write off. Andy Love 45S we should be communicating any vandalism to the board. We have had some squatters not sure who they are? Motion lights have been added. Curtis Soprovich this is a perfect example of need to bring it up. Let your board know so they can get the notice out to the members. In one case when there was vandalism, a note was left that is was a neighbor.

Jim Merryfield 13N -Emails are appreciated as they do keep the members informed. Rules need to be followed and the board does want to be informed to be able to react. Neil Evans 36DS- you are the messenger on behalf the park. Blair Curtis 16S - would like join the board as well as Brett Wetthun Lot 16N. Jim Merryfield 13N -Any volunteers joining the board must be voted as per Section 12E. Doug Seymour 36S - Three things must happen when the board gets a volunteer; 1 all board members must agree, 2 all members must be notified and 3 gets voted at general meeting. Mark McBain 2S, Bonnie Thurston, and Iris Mourelli have all stepped up to join the board. Articles say no more than 9 no less than 3. Meeting adjourned
