The Story has Just Begun!! By Dianne McGuigan Hello Everyone! Re: (Vacation trip December 29, 2011, thru January 06, 2012) Recently my twin daughters Nicole and Danielle and Nicole's boyfriend Cody and I went on our FIRST Coastal Holiday since I purchased the package back the end of May 2011. I had been very busy building the business and didn't have an opportunity to take a vacation, that, and the girls being in College, could not take time away. As soon as the Christmas break came along, it was time to hit the road on our first Holiday!!! I was excited to use my Coastal Vacations Package!!! We had a GREAT time! We drove so we could have the flexibility to go wherever we would like.
We took in a day at Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge and as a matter of fact, I should mention that we went there the first day before checking into our Condo. Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge is nestled in the foothills of the Smoky Mountains. You can be adventurous and spend your nights around a fire at one of the many campgrounds. While strolling along the Parkway and explore the various attractions, theaters, and stores. We attended some local attractions, such as an aquarium. This was a breath-taking view from the outside.
Inside the aquarium at Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge. Another inspiring view from the inside of the aquarium at Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge.
It was a random stay overnight at Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge. I had to book a room with one King bed and pull out couch to fit us!! Super8 that was $90.24 for ONE night!!! ( I later found out Super8 is on our Access Card in our package.)
This place on its own is almost enough to warrant a trip to the Smoky Mountains. You may think a knife store isn't that special, but it's so much more. It is far more like a shopping mall of knife-related goods. It's cliche to say it's "fun for the whole family", but it really is a place almost everyone can go to and find something to enjoy and find interest in. There are a number of vendors here selling lots of loosely connected merchandise. The focus is on knives, and they have everything from combat knives and throwing knives to fancy collectors knives, to folding pocketknives, to kitchen knives. The entire bottom floor is kitchen supplies (branching off of cooking knives), various vendors also sell swords (mostly flashy display pieces, but some serious blades), martial arts weapons (from the practical to the cheesy), outdoor and camping supplies, patriotic merchandise, and lots of local souvenirs.
I used one of my Certificates and was able to book a beautiful Condo at a Resort (Forest Glade Resort) location in Tennessee. The deal was $198.00 for 7 nights!!!!
I recently looked to see what the online price would be and it came up at $1,466.00 for the Two Bedroom Condo. I am sure the week that we went being News Years Eve/Day would be even higher!
209.43 x 7 = 1466.01 at the rate for January 13, thru January 20, 2012. Thus over the holidays, you can imagine the cost per night.
The Condo was close to a river and had a balcony. Another view of the setting of our spacious condo at Fairfield Glades.
There was a King size bedroom with Flat screen TV and bathroom. The great bathroom for the King size room.
The other bedroom had two Queen size beds, flat screen TV and on-suite with Jacuzzi tub.
The spacious bathroom with Jacuzzi tub.
There was a spacious living room with another flat screen TV and a fireplace and a fully equipped kitchen and washer and dryer. It was awesome! Fairfield Glade Resort offers luxuries such as a fireplace in the commons area.
Fairfield Glade Resort offers an area surrounded by 4 golf courses and a Beautiful Convention Centre with Rec Room and Fitness Centre, Pool and Hot tub. One of 4 golf courses offered by Fairfield Glade Resort
The recreational facilities!! The indoor pool was great!!
There is a lake in the area and depending on the time of Year of course, there is much to offer there. The area was beautiful and had a lot to offer for all ages.
The Tree house was in Crossville which is the town Fairfield Glade Resort is in. Famous Place! The Tree house was amazing! I understand it is in the Guinness Book of Records. A Pastor built it! A stunning view from the Tree House!!
We visited an art museum in Knoxville, Tennessee.
We went to the Steak and Shake a few times. (favorite of Nicole and Cody)
On the banks of the Cumberland, the awe-inspiring Gaylord Opryland Hotel invites you to experience all of the energy and excitement of Nashville, Music City USA!! You'll marvel at the 9 acres of indoor gardens and cascading waterfalls.
Another stunning view inside the Gaylord Opryland Hotel. The inspiring night time visions in Nashville for New Years Eve at the Gaylord Opryland Hotel.
We had an awesome meal at the Backstage Pass Restaurant. Enjoyable area to stop, relax, and converse.
Then we went downtown, Knoxville, Tennessee. That was a bit of a MOB experience as they opened the downtown streets for the Big Party of New Years Eve! Stirfry Café in Knoxville Great Food!!
The Bean Pot is a unique old style gas station with HOMESTYLE restaurant and gift shop. It was in Crossville, Tennessee. Danielle s Favorite Dish!!
We were able to visit the now world famous The Love Kitchen in Knoxville, Tennessee. We definitely recommend you stop in to meet Helen and Ellen. I took in a wonderful massage from Nature's Way Massage and met the owner who is now interested in our package since he heard my testimonial with my Vacation!
Jaqueline's Boutique An AWESOME boutique the ladies would love. Very quaint and impeccable service, wine and tea and cookies served, just awesome in there. Fireplace in the corner. They sure know how to treat customers! I spoke to them about my travel package too! We were able to create a new view on life!!
I will definitely return and would like to go in the fall to see the beautiful colors of trees and the mountains. As the sun sets upon one last thought about the first vacation in years! I am a single mom of three and was introduced to the Coastal Vacation business back in late May, 2011! I saw the value of the packages they offered and I definitely had interest in starting a business as a way to improve our lives. I had hit bottom financially and definitely needed a way out of the desperate situation my kids and I were in! I got busy right away and started to share the business and generated an incredible income very quickly. Often people would ask me if I had went on a vacation and used my package and my answer was always no NOT YET, because I was so busy and with my girls being in their first semester of college it was impossible to pull them from school. However, in December 2011, I felt that would be the perfect time to take a vacation while they were on their Christmas break. It was very easy using my package to book the Condo Resort. There were many places throughout the US or Canada that we could have visited but there was something about this Resort in Tennessee that caught my attention so I booked! It was a very simple process!!! We left on December 29th and drove 11 hours arriving in Gatlinburg and booked in to the Super Eight for the first evening. This was a random stop because when I left I wasn t quite sure where we would end up for our first night! Then on the 30th we checked in to our Condo in Fairfield Glade Resort and stayed through until Friday, January 6th. As a family we are super excited about being able to travel whenever we want where we want because of this Awesome Company and Product! I am in awe to what we have our hands on and our lives have absolutely changed! We thoroughly enjoyed the trip and now my kids cannot wait to go on their next Coastal Vacation! My daughter just informed me that she will have a week off in March and I have never been alone on Vacation with Danielle so I believe we will be CRUISING!!!! This Package is EXTRAORDINARY and the Business has changed our lives!!!! Dianne McGuigan Ontario, Canada
