Thursday arrivals had pleasant blue sky weather and got set up for a relaxing weekend. We had thirteen rigs and one drive in. Some of us tried using the 50 amp sites up the hill. We had perfect coolish weather; the lake was beautiful; even the rain rained at night. Friday was a very relaxing day. There was some bear stuffing and blanket cutting to prepare them for a Bogie Creek delivery during the Fall Samboree. We enjoyed our happy hour under the shady oak trees over looking the lake; very pleasant. That evening some of us went to Salt Springs to the Bass Champion Fish House. Upon returning we played a Thanksgiving game. We now know that the 1 st Thanksgiving was 1621. Later in the evening some played games and some sat around LJ s fire and cooked some smores. Saturday s breaksfast included a delicious recipe of sausage and gravy on tasty rolls. At 10:00 AM, President Jim Gonya conducted the business meeting. Our guest was Ken and Rose Mary s eight year old grand daughter Emily. We enjoyed her company. We welcomed back LJ & Trisia Green from their western travels. At 1:00, we played a game of Bean Bag Baseball behind the club house while Tony both watched and played in the game while roasting the Turkey. We enjoyed our happy hours with wine & cheese celebrating the new rigs of Tony & Peggy and Cliff & Marge. Dinner was a delicious Turkey with all the fixings and yummy desserts. After dinner some of the members played another fun game led by our host Colleen Litz. Sunday morning was sweet things to share with more visiting and good-byes until next month. Thanks to the hosts: Cliff Chase & Marge Ennd, Ted & Colleen Litz, Dotty & Dick Weis, Tony & Peggy Hampton.
