MEDIA ACCREDITATION REQUIREMENTS All venues for the Summit and its preceding meetings are accessible strictly on presentation of an accreditation badge. All media practitioners who wish to cover the Summit and have access to the Royal Swazi Hotel and Lozitha Palace SADC Summit venues and other areas accessible to the media are required to be accredited through Director of Information and Media Development (Ministry of ICT) by August 18, 2016, by submitting the following details: a) Duly completed Media Accreditation Form attached b) Copy of identification document/passport c) One colour passport-size photograph d) A letter from the media house stating that the practitioner has been assigned to cover the summit. The media accreditation form is attached. e) A list of equipment, serial numbers and port of entry should be indicated. f) Intended dates of arrival and departure should be indicated. The applications deadline is August 18, 2016 and all applications should be sent: to the Director Information and Media Development. 2. Media Centre A Media Centre will be available at the Royal Swazi Hotel and Lozitha Palace venues. Media practitioners will have at their disposal a work area with Internet, phones, printers, faxes and photocopy machines. 3. Requests for interviews The press attachés of each delegation may request the Organising Committee of the Summit to provide them with the telephone number they can use to make interviews requests.
