The Drop in Centre will be open Monday, Thursday and Friday mornings and the Workshops will be open every Tuesday and Wednesday morning so there will be a welcoming presence every weekday at the Shed. QCCC We ve been working behind the scenes with Run Queensland who run the Blackall 100 to come up with another event. This is a youth-based race, over 22km, that will eventually be built up into a full weekend of activities, challenges which will incorporate time bonuses into the race itself. Long term we hope it will become the Sunshine Coast based, and aboriginal-themed equivalent of some of the School challenge races run in the Gold Coast Hinterland. There won t be road closures for this one, but there will be quite a bit of extra activity around town from participants and spectators. Poster at end of news. 3
