Annual Meeting Location Hyatt Regency Tamaya Resort & Spa 1300 Tuyuna Trail Santa Ana Pueblo, NM 87004 Room Rate: $185 per night plus tax CLICK HERE to make your hotel reservation. Hotel Deposit & Cancellation Guests must provide a credit card to guarantee their reservation. Individual reservations may be cancelled without penalty until two days prior to the guest s arrival date. If you must cancel your hotel room for the CCAI/PCI Annual Meeting, YOU MUST DO IT at least two days prior to your scheduled arrival. The hotel will make no exceptions to this rule.
General Information Recreational Facilities & Activities The Tamaya Resort & Spa features a wide array of recreational opportunities, including three pools, a 24-hour fitness center, a full service spa, and a host of "Srai Wi" cultural activities. These activities include pottery making, painting, jewelry making, guided nature walks, and more. Our Annual Meeting attendees/guests receive a 10% discount on spa services during your stay. Dress Attire for the CCAI and PCI Annual Meetings is resort casual - golf shirts and khakis or shorts. The only exception is PCI's Hall of Fame Dinner, which will be business attire. The average high temperature over the meeting dates is in the high 80s. However, low temperatures average in the 50s, so be sure to bring a jacket or sweater for the evenings. Airline Reservations The nearest major airport to Tamaya is Albuquerque International Sunport, an approximately 35 minute drive. ABQ is served by all major US airlines. The Santa Fe Municipal Airport, served by American and United Airlines, is a 45 minute drive. Car Rental We recommend a rental car for ease of transportation to and from Tamaya. Valet parking at the resort is $15 per night; self parking is complimentary. All of the national car rental agencies are available at the Albuquerque airport; Hertz, Avis, Enterprise and Budget are available at or near the Santa Fe airport. Taxi service from the Albuquerque airport to Tamaya is approximately $85 one-way, while Uber will run between $35-$45. Optional Activities We will have several optional social activities throughout the Annual Meeting, including a trip to Chimayo, a golf tournament, a tour of the Jemez Mountain area and the always popular Olympics. Former U.S. House Representative, John T. Doolittle, will join us and provide insight on the administration's first five months and what he thinks lies ahead, especially as it relates to manufacturing. Doolittle served as a Representative from California from 1991-2009 and while in the House, he served on the Appropriations, Transportation and Infrastructure, Resources, Agriculture and House Administration Committees. Optional Activities Chimayo & Vineyard Tour Sunday, June 18 $99 Per Person 9:30 AM - 4:30 PM This tour will take us on a scenic ride north from Tamaya. We will enjoy a traditional New Mexican lunch before venturing on to the town of Chimayo, known for its traditional Spanish Colonial weaving industry and it's native heirloom Chimayo chile. We will also visit the Estrella Del Norte Vineyard for a wine tasting before returning to the hotel. Lunch and wine tasting are included in the price of the tour. Golf Tournament Tuesday, June 20 $145 Per Person 1:00 PM Winding through the sacred lands of the Tamayame people and 20 ancient cultural sites, Twin Warriors Golf Club at Hyatt Regency Tamaya boasts 18 holes of high desert, championship golf. The course features beautiful grassy mounds and ridges dotted with juniper and piñon pines along with the sacred mesa known as Tuyuna. The event that members have been waiting for all year.ok, that might be an exaggeration, but our Annual Olympics and BBQ is a highlight of the Annual Meeting and promises an evening of fun, laughter, challenges, competition, great food and dancing to a fantastic band. The Valles Caldera harbors one of the largest herds of elk in North America, while the Soda Dam offers an unexpected waterfall.
