REPORTS FROM OFFICIALS (for direction) Culture & Recreation Report No. R17-003 re: Ice Wolves Rate Proposal MOTION CRAC02142017-04: Clare-Powell that Culture & Recreation Report No. R17-003, dated December 9, 2016, with respect to Coldwater Ice Wolves Rates Proposals be received; AND FURTHER THAT the Ice Wolves be approved for ice time in the 2017-2018 season; AND FURTHER THAT the Ice Wolves pay Adult rates for Prime, Non-Prime and Tournaments for the 2017-2018 season; AND FURTHER THAT the Ice Wolves pay the applicable Business hall rates; AND FURTHER THAT the Ice Wolves pay one month in advance of any ice time or hall rental; AND FURTHER THAT the Ice Wolves pay $100.00 per month plus HST from April 1 st to September 1 st for exclusive use of the portable for the 2017-18 season and be reevaluated annually. Culture & Recreation Report No. R17-006 re: Instructor Remuneration Increase Request MOTION CRAC02142017-05: Clare-Powell that Culture & Recreation Report No. R17-006, dated December 14, 2016, with respect to an Instructor Remuneration Increase Request be received; AND FURTHER THAT the following is recommended retroactive to January 1, 2015 for Program Fees; Adult Fees - $7.00 per session for a one-hour Senior Fees 25% of Adult Fees Teen Fees - $5.00 per session for a one-hour Youth Fees - $5.00 per session for a one-hour - 3 -

Pre-School Fees - $5.00 per session for a one-hour AND FURTHER THAT the instructor for Keep Fit for Bones be awarded an increase of $10.00 per hour; AND FURTHER THAT this increase begin for the Summer 2017 session; AND FURTHER THAT the participants be charged $8.00 for Adults and $6.00 for Seniors; AND FURTHER THAT By-law 2015-67 be changed to reflect this price increase. Culture & Recreation Report No. R17-004 re: Challenger Sports Proposal MOTION CRAC02142017-06: Moved by Member Clare-Powell and seconded by Member Deir that Culture & Recreation Report No. R17-004, dated December 12, 2016, with respect to Challenger Sports Proposal be received; AND FURTHER THAT the Township approve of a Mini-Kicks British Soccer Camp to be held July 24 through to July 28, 2017; AND FURTHER THAT the camp register and operate through Challenger Sports for 2017; AND FURTHER THAT the Township offer a soccer site at no cost. DRAFT of Township of Severn Community Garden Policy MOTION CRAC02142017-07: Clare-Powell that the Draft of the Township Community Garden Policy be received; AND FURTHER THAT after more review, the policy be brought back to the Culture & Recreation Advisory Committee. - 4 -
