thank you Living with Water Innovative Infrastructure This PRA is a milestone that could not have been completed without the diversity and passion of our community. Thank you to our partners in this journey and we look forward to your roles evolving from shaping the Discovery Areas to be part of the resilience strategy implementation. All cities face risk, and although Southeast Florida is vulnerable to rising sea levels due to its low elevation, unique geology, and the density of coastal developments- there are many opportunities for innovation with mangroves, dunes, parks spaces, and innovative building materials and designs. Water attracted many us here- as we adapt to more water, how can we thrive socially, environmentally, and economically? How can we leverage and protect the Everglades and Biscayne Bay? This discovery area will focus investing in natural and man-made infrastructure to rise above and learn to live with water to create a more resilient community in the face of storms and sea level rise.
