Commercial Burglaries: Date/Time Address (block range) Method of Entry Description/Suspect Information 03/05/2015 3:10am 25000 W Eight Mile Rd. (Commercial Medical) Entry through an unlocked door. Reporting Party (R/P) states that he came into work and realized several tires were missing. Upon reviewing surveillance video, at approx. 3:10am he observed an unknown male enter the unlocked door on the east side of the building and remove several tires off of a rack and off of the floor. A white van was then seen leaving the lot. R/p mentioned that a few weeks ago a subject who was looking for scrap did make the business and was asked to leave the premises. They remembered him mentioning something about him owning a white van. Possibly related. Home Invasion: Date/Time Address (block range) Method of Entry Description/Suspect Information 03/02/2015 12:06pm 03/05/2015 5:30pm (Arson Also) From: 03/05/2015 10:30am To: 03/05/2015 5:30pm 21000 Frazer Ave. Entry through unlocked front door. 18000 Jeanette St. Handgun, money & jewelry were taken. 21000 N. Hidden Rivers (Condo s) Entry through kitchen window. Victim called Police after subject known to her came to her residence and entered w/o permission through the unlocked front door. Victim advised the subject to leave. Prior to leaving he grabbed a pair of glasses. Suspect currently has a PPO stating no contact with victim. Officers arrived on scene, confirmed valid PPO and arrested suspect for PPO Violation and Home Invasion. Victim stated that her alarm company along with the Southfield Fire Department contacted her informing her of a possible arson started house fire at her residence. Once victim got to the house she discovered that several items were missing from the residence. A suspect has been developed and incident is under investigation. Victim stated that he left the house at approximately 10:30am and returned at approximately 5:30pm. Victim discovered that the kitchen window was open and items were missing from the residence. Items are missing from the residence.

From: 03/06/2015 9:30am To: 03/06/2015 7:30pm 18000 Midway Rd. Entry was gained through a bathroom window on the east side of the home. Victim advised that they left their home today at approximately 9:30am and secured it. They returned home at approximately 7:30pm and discovered the front door was standing open and a window was open on the side of the house. Victim advised that he called 911 and waited for the police to arrive. Victim advised that she had a suspicious person at her home a few days ago and now believes that the man may have been casing her home. Victim advised that a B/M that was driving a White Cargo Van came to her door and asked her if she needed any roofing or window repair. Victim told the man that she didn t need anything and thought that it was suspicious because she could see that there were other men in the van. Automobile Thefts: Date/Time Address (block range) Year, Make, Model Details From: 03/03/2015 12:00am To: 03/03/2015 6:00am 28000 Aberdeen St. Status S - Stolen Manufacturer CHEVROLET Model MONTE CARLO Color BLK - Black Vehicle Year 2004 Body Style 2D - 2 Door State MI License Year 2015 Description Monte Carlo Notes Table Saw Fishing Tackle In Trunk Victim stated his Black Chevrolet Monte Carlo was last seen parked in his driveway at 12:00am. Victim noticed vehicle had been stolen later that morning at 6:00am. Victim and Officer observed a pile of broken glass on the left side of the driveway.

(Commercial Government) Status S - Stolen Manufacturer CHEVROLET Model AVALANCHE Color BLU - Blue Vehicle Year 2005 Body Style State MI License Year Description Blu Chev. Avalanche Status SR - Both Stolen And Recovered Manufacturer CHEVROLET Model IMPALA Color SIL - Silver or Aluminum Vehicle Year 2008 Body Style 4D - 4 Door State MI Recovered Date/Time 03/06/2015 11:40am Victim parked and locked his vehicle in the driveway at approx.8:00pm. Victim came back out to his vehicle the following morning at approx. 6:59am to find his vehicle missing from his driveway. 2005- Blue Chevy Avalanche Victim stated he purchased the vehicle from a subject via Craigslist. Victim stated he met suspect in the area of 7 mile / Telegraph in Detroit. Victim stated he paid cash for the vehicle and the suspect signed and handed over the title for the vehicle. It was later discovered that the suspect defrauded him and gave him a false title for a different vehicle. This was discovered when victim went to the Secretary of State to register the vehicle. The actual vehicle was reported stolen, taken in a Robbery. Victim stated suspect only known as Jason was a B/M, 40-45yoa, 5'10", 180lbs, dark complexion, and facial hair and possibly braids in his hair.

From: 03/08/2015 4:00am To: 03/09/2015 6:30am 28000 Franklin River Dr. (Apartments) Status S - Stolen Manufacturer CHEVROLET Model TRAILBLAZER Color Vehicle Year 2007 Body Style State MI License Year Description 07 Chevy Victim advises vehicle was parked in the parking lot at his Apartment Complex. Sometime between 4:00am- 6:30am someone stole the vehicle. No further information at this time. Tips: Never leave your vehicle running unattended Park in areas where your vehicle is viewable if possible Use commercially available security devices

Larceny: Date/Time Address (block range) Item Taken Details From: 03/04/2015 9:00pm To: 03/05/2015 8:00am From: 03/07/2015 6:00pm To: 03/09/2015 3:30am 21000 Mahon Dr. Registration and Insurance was taken from 2012 Dodge Durango. 24000 Greenfield Rd (Commercial Transportation) Catalytic Converter was taken from 2004 Honda Odyssey. Tips: Ensure your vehicle is locked at all times and valuables are out of sight. Thieves wait for the right time and will move quickly Even if playing sports at a park ensure your vehicle is locked Victim advised she parked her vehicle at her residence at 9:00pm. Victim went back out to her vehicle the following morning at 8:00am and found her door wide open and the interior of her vehicle ransacked. Victim advised her registration and insurance was missing and she wanted to make a police report. The vehicle was parked at the business. Sometime between 6:00pm and 3:30am someone cut the Catalytic Converter off the vehicle. No suspect info. at this time.

If something doesn t appear right or someone looks like they are up to no good, call the police immediately Trust your intuition Unarmed Robbery: 03/04/2015 4:08pm (Bank Robbery) 23000 Greenfield Rd. (Bank) Cash was taken. Victim (teller) stated she was working when a B/M with the following description approached the counter and passed a note; approximately (60) YOA, dark complexion, 6'-0", slim build, stubble, wearing a navy colored knit hat, dark colored work style jacket, blue hooded sweatshirt with white draw strings worn under the jacket, dark colored pants, and dark shoes & boots. Teller stated she looked at the note and the suspect stated, "you know what it is", and then motioned to the money drawer with his head. Teller stated she gave suspect the cash from her money drawer. After she gave the suspect the money, he walked out the front door and walked along the south side of the building. The suspect did not show a weapon or imply that he was armed. A Southfield Police K-9 Officer and his K-9 tracked from the bank to a nearby Apartment Complex. K-9 Led Officers to a specific building within the Apartment Complex.

Tips: Always be aware of your surroundings and report suspicious incidents or persons to your local police After entering the building K-9 immediately went up the stairs. K-9 continued to go up and down the stairs and the track was terminated. Officers did make contact with some of the tenants from this building but the suspect wasn t located at this time. Incident is under investigation.

Be on the Look Out Highlights: Special Attention: Possible Attempt LFA 03/04/2015 1:38am 21000 Block of Greenview Rd. Homeowner stated they were awakened by their dog barking. Resident went two the side door and saw a B/M standing by the open driver door to her vehicle. (2005 Jeep) The B/M was last seen running down the street. Nothing appeared to be missing from the vehicle and no fresh damage to their vehicle. Suspect Description: Last Name SUSPECT First Name UNKNOWN DOB (Age) 18 Sex M Race BLACK Hair Style Afro Hair Length Short Complexion Dark Build Thin Height 5' 8" Weight 140 Attire White Shirt Dark Pants Arrests by SPD Officers: OWI= Operate While Impaired OUIN= Operate Under Influence Narcotics LFA= Larceny From Auto R&C= Receiving & Concealing Stolen Property DWLS= Driving With Suspended License A&B= Assault & Battery CSC= Criminal Sexual Conduct CCW/CPL= Carrying Concealed Weapon NOLOP= No Operator License on Person R/A= Robbery Armed PWID= Possession with Intent to Deliver PPO= Personal Protection Order

Special Attention: Possible Home Invasion Suspect and Vehicle Information. From: 03/06/2015 9:30am To: 03/06/2015 7:30pm 18000 Block of Midway Rd. Victim advised that she had a suspicious person at her home a few days ago and now believes that the man may have been casing her home. Disorderly Conduct/ Resisting Arrest/ Minor in Possession of Tobacco- 1- Arrest 03/03/2015 2:13pm 21000 Block of Northwestern Hwy. (Shopping Center) Officer s observed subject standing outside of a closed business within the Shopping Center smoking in a manner consistent with narcotics. Officers confronted subject and discovered he was smoking tobacco. After asking subject how old he was, he responded with a Verbal Vulgar Racial Slur towards Officers. Officers at this point determined that the subject was a Minor in Possession of Tobacco and advised subject he was under arrest for Minor Smoking Tobacco and Disorderly Conduct. Officers attempted to take subject into custody but he resisted. Possession Of Cocaine/ Warrants- 1- Arrest Northwestern Hwy & J L Hudson Dr. 03/05/2015 4:52pm Northwestern Hwy & J L Hudson Dr Officer was dispatched to S.B. Northwestern Hwy Service Drive south of JL Hudson to a disabled vehicle. LEIN showed that the vehicle was wanted and was possibly involved in a Homicide. The vehicle was occupied by three subjects and the vehicle had a flat tire. Officer s investigation led to the arrest of two of the occupants in the vehicle on Warrants out of another jurisdiction. A third subject was released at the scene. The jurisdiction that entered the vehicle as a wanted vehicle was notified. Once in the jail with the subjects they were searched by jail personnel. Suspected Cocaine was recovered in one of the subject s pants pocket. It was later Field Tested by a Southfield Police Evidence Technician. The result was positive for possible presence of Cocaine.

Trespassing/ Resisting Arrest 1- Arrest 03/04/2015 1:12pm 21000 Block of Northwestern Hwy. (Shopping Center) Officers were dispatched to Shopping Center for a possible fight involving nine subjects. Upon arrival, Officers made contact with Security Officer who stated most of the subjects dispersed, but a couple subjects went back inside the mall. Officers made entry into the mall. Security pointed out one of the subjects that went back into the mall. The subject was in the food court when Officer s called him over. The subject looked at Officers and took off running. Officers chased subject yelling several times for subject to stop. Officers continued to chase subject through the mall until he exited the mall doors at which point other Officers were waiting for him and took him into custody. It was discovered that this subject had a Ban Order against him for previous misconduct at mall. Subject was run through LEIN coming back with a valid warrant out of Southfield for Possession of Marijuana. Subject was arrested for Trespassing & Resisting/ Obstructing.

Texting While Driving/ Warrants/ Obstructing Police Officer 1-Arrest. 03/04/2015 10:50pm M-10 & Civic Center Dr. Officer while on routine patrol observed driver texting while driving. Officer initiated a traffic stop on the vehicle. Upon investigation the subject produced a Driver s License. After receiving this Driver s License, Officer went back to the patrol vehicle and discovered the picture on the license did not correlate how the subject looked. After inquiring via LEIN, Officer discovered the vehicle was registered to another person who had 4 Misdemeanor Warrants out of another jurisdiction. Officer then retrieved a photograph of the registered owner of the vehicle and he was able to positively identify the driver as this person. The driver was taken into custody for Obstructing Police (Mis-Rep) and the Warrants.

Misrep with Intent to Obstruct and DWLS. 1- Arrest 03/04/2015 11:52pm Telegraph Rd & W Twelve Mile Rd Officer was N/B on Telegraph Rd when he observed vehicle cross the highway the wrong way through the turn around. Officer stopped the vehicle and made contact with the driver. The driver presented Officer with an Identification Card only. The person s name on the card came back with 2 prior Driving While Suspended Convictions, and numerous other current suspensions. The driver also showed 3 current Arrest Warrants. After getting to the jail the driver advised jail personnel with yet another name. The new name showed a Federal Warrant for Drugs. At this time the driver s identity is unknown. Waiting for fingerprints to come back. Incident is under investigation.

DWLS II and Misrep. with Intent to Obstruct. 03/05/2015 8:47pm Lasher Rd & S. Hidden Rivers Dr. Officers observed traffic violation and initiated traffic stop on vehicle. After making contact with the driver, he verbally identified himself. (No Driver s License on Person) Upon further investigation, Officer s discovered that the driver s true identity was different then what the driver had originally given them. The driver s true identity returned with several suspensions; The driver also returned with (3) traffic warrants out of other jurisdictions. The driver was arrested for DWLS and Misrep. OWI/ CPL Violation 1- Arrest 03/08/2015 3:19am Telegraph Rd. & E/B I-696 Officer observed vehicle driving at a high rate of speed and following too closely. The vehicle was stopped and there was a strong odor of intoxicants emanating from the vehicle. The driver was investigated and arrested for OWI. The driver also had his handgun in the trunk of his vehicle. The driver was also charged with CPL Violation.

OWI/ Resisting 1- Arrest 03/08/2015 3:27am Northwestern Hwy & Bell Rd. Officer initiated a traffic stop for Disobey Red Traffic Signal. While talking with the driver Officer could detect a strong odor of intoxicants coming from the vehicle. Officer conducted OWI Investigation and driver refused Preliminary Breath Test. When Officers attempted to take subject into custody for OWI she resisted arrested. She was eventually taken into custody. At the jail arrestee refused Breathalyzer. Arrestee was transported to Hospital where a search warrant was obtained and blood draw was completed. OWI Charges pending results of Blood Test. OWI- 1- Arrest Lasher Rd/ 10 Mile Rd. Officer was dispatched to Lasher and 10 Mile on a stalled and blocking vehicle where the operator was slumped behind the wheel. Officers located vehicle and subject slumped over the wheel. The driver was awakened by Officers and their investigation determined that he was operating while intoxicated. The driver was subsequently arrested for OWI and lodged.

OWI- 1- Arrest 03/06/2015 7:47pm Franklin Rd/ 12 Mile Rd Officer initiated a traffic stop and conducted an OWI Investigation. The driver was found to be intoxicated and subsequently arrested for OWI. PWID Marijuana/ DWLS/ & Open Intoxicants in Motor Vehicle- 1- Arrest 03/07/2015 M-10/ Lasher Rd. Officer stopped a vehicle for speeding and made contact with the driver of the vehicle. The driver advised Officer that he had marijuana on his person. The suspect also admitted that he was taking the marijuana to his sister. The suspect was placed under arrest for PWID Marijuana, DWLS and Open Intox.
