Mountaineering Club Ljuboten Tetovo 37 th traditional climbing on the highest peak on Shar Mountain, Titov Vrv 2747 m. 26 27 th of May (Saturday Sunday) 2018 Popova Sapka For the thirty seventh time, The Mountaineering Club "Ljuboten" - Tetovo organizes the traditional climbing of Titov Vrv. This event along the years has become recognizable mountain brand in the country, thus contributing to the national tradition building. With such events, our country builds a tradition that lasts and represents us internationally. The event is part of the celebration of "Europe Day" organized by the EU Delegation in Skopje. In order to maintain a high level of security and organization, in accordance with the recommendations of FMSM - Federation of Mountain Sports of Macedonia for "Organization of Large Traditional Mountaineering Actions", the Mountaineering Club "Ljuboten" invites all clubs and organized associations to take part of this mountaineering event. All interested clubs and organized associations are obliged to register their attendance (statement by the coordinator and the participants with the registration form - attached), with which the applicants will acquire the status of participants in an organized activity. ACCOMMODATION AND TRANSPORT Transport to Popova Shapka is in own organization (for additional information we are at your disposal) Accommodation in: - Hotels on Popova Shapka at a price of 600 MKD (10 ) - Mountaineering Huts on Popova Shapka at a price of 300 MKD (5 ) Please, register your participation no later than 22.05.2018, so that we can coordinate accommodation in the provided facilities. Registration of the clubs and organized associations in the accommodation capacities with the responsible persons from M.C. Ljuboten and coordination for accommodation of the participants. - 19:00 h. Official opening of the event in hotel Popova Shapka Popova Shapka. - 19:30 h. Coordination meeting for explanation of the conditions and characteristics of the climbing and the procedure for receiving diplomas. - 20:00 h. 23:00 h. Mountaineering Party. 27 th of May 2018 (Sunday): - 06:30 h. Group gathering at plateau of Hotel Popova Sapka and start of the ascent to Titov Vrv along the Vakuf Path. - 11:00 h. - Arrival of the group on Titov Vrv. - 12:00 h. - Departure of the group from Titov Vrv to Popova Sapka. - 16:00 h. - Arrival to the group to Popova Shapka, refreshment with mountain tea organized by "Friends of Shara" and closing the event. HIKING ORGANIZATION - The official trail that will be used for this event is the Vakuf Path (Vakufska Pateka) in an organized way according to the official program! - GPS data for the trail can be found in the attachment! - The coordinators of the clubs and organized associations must attend the meeting! They will receive accreditation upon signing up. - The coordinators of the clubs and the organized associations are responsible for the registered members of their clubs/ association and each coordinator needs to have a sufficient number of guides in proportion to the number of registered participants from the clubs/association - in accordance with the recommendations of the FMSM! ("Guidelines for number of participants in mountaineering mountain action") - Every participant should bring their own food, individually predicted for a mountain tour up to 10 hours! - Suitable mountaineering equipment for winter conditions is obligatory! - Each participant should be in good health and in good psycho-physical conditions! - All individuals who want to take part in the event must join a certain club or an organized association with a formal application! - The organizer reserves the right to change the program depending on the weather conditions! Note: The Mountaineering Club "Ljuboten" is not responsible for the consequences that would occur outside this program, as well as for participants who have not submitted statements and registration form!
