Jen believes we will be able to help with event organization again and we may be allotted a larger display area with more motorcycles. Dec 2016 Jan 2017 Garage Crawl & Airheads Beemer Club No-Turkey Tech Day, November 26th By Tom Nielsen On the Saturday after Thanksgiving, OTC members gathered for a potluck at Tom Krise s home for a garage crawl, held concurrently with our new friends from the Airhead Beemer Club. We arrived early to find a place for Jen s Crock Pot of Queso Dip, tortilla chips, and pumpkin dump cake (no jokes please). We also received a private tour of Tom K s garage. Tom showed off his BMW tour bike, 1993 BMW R100GSPD. He also had two Indians under restoration, a 1929 Scout and a 1947 Chief that formely was owned by Kenny Edmison. A 1967 Honda CL90 Scrambler was on the floor and Tom s first bike, another Honda, was on display. Tom s antique rider, a 1953 Indian Chief stood stoutly ready for travel. The garage s walls were lined with references, parts, a handy frig, and decorated with colorful posters and signs, such as WORK FREE SMOKE PLACE. The OTC members and Airhead members began arriving. Our president had brought her faulty Harley generator, and received guidance on disassembly and troubleshooting from OTC members. An Airhead went up on Tom K s lift for inspection, service, and discussion. The observation was made that Harleys were also airheads, and the BMW member agreed, but we both thought the other s brand had the heads oriented wrong Tom K s Garage Visit us online at http://www.antiquemotorcycleoregon.com 3
