A selection is available for purchase at reasonable prices at the Tuck Shop. AUDIO VIDEO EQUIPMENT To help maintain the quiet and calm of the Centre, please do not use audio equipment unless using earphones. No television or electronic games are permitted. CAMPERS Please attach the red camper sign to your tent. Please keep your food in raccoon-proof containers or in your car or in the refrigerator building. No campfires are permitted. Campers may park near the campgrounds. The refrigerator building is the white building in the campground. Please label your food and ensure that you empty the refrigerators before 9 a.m. on Sunday. Toilets and showers are in the campground building made of brown logs. There is a general store in Lost River. If the weather is exceptionally bad, campers may take refuge for the night in Studio Bartok. Please help keep the campgrounds clean and pleasant. CHILDREN AND ADOLESCENTS Children aged 4 ½ to 11 are the responsibility of their parents and guardians outside of the children s program hours in the mornings and the activities in the evenings. Adolescents aged 12 to 17 are the responsibility of their parents at all times. Young people may use Studio Bartok for table games or to read when not in use for a class. CONCERTS The evening concerts have been conceived for participants in the adult and adolescent program, and can be an excellent venue for teaching concert protocol to children. For the enjoyment of all, any children attending the concert must be accompanied by a parent who must ensure that their children are quiet and do not disturb others. If your children are tired and not able to remain quiet, please take them out of the room. Photographing and/or recording are not permitted during the concerts unless you have the express permission of the performers.

DRINKING WATER All water on site is safe to drink. It is treated both by a sedimentary process and an ultraviolet process. EMERGENCY EXITS Please take a moment to check where the nearest emergency exits are to your room. Emergency exits must only be used to EXIT the buildings. The doors are locked from the outside and MUST NEVER be propped open. In case of a fire alarm, wherever you are and no matter what time it is, IMMEDIATELY LEAVE THE BUILDING YOU ARE IN AND GATHER ON THE TENNIS COURT. If you are on the beach, in studio in the woods or on the campground, ALSO GO TO THE TENNIS COURT. This is the only way we will be able to check if anyone is missing. Under no circumstances whatsoever should you re-enter a building that is on fire. EVALUATION FORMS An evaluation form will be sent to you by e-mail following your stay. Your comments and suggestions are much appreciated. It helps us improve the CAMMAC experience! INSTRUMENTS Please ask the permission of a teacher before using the grand piano in Lucy Hall or the Yves Beaupré harpsichord. The Yamaha pianos in the studios are on loan from Piano Héritage. Please take good care of them so that we may continue to enjoy their generosity. Each person is responsible for the safety and security of his or her own instrument(s), at all times. INTERNET CONNECTION A computer is available for general use downstairs between the music library and the Bartok. To save a document on this computer, you must use a USB key. This computer is not to be used by children. Free wireless internet access is available for those who have brought their own equipment. Parking spaces beside the campground are reserved for those who are camping and need frequent access to their car. All others should park near Studios Little and Cypihot (access by the road next to the tennis court), ensuring that they do not take the parking places reserved for CAMMAC s staff. There is no parking permitted along the edge of the playing field. A few spaces near the Main Building are reserved for handicapped parking. Parking near the Main Building will only be tolerated for a short period while packing or unpacking on Sundays. PHOTOCOPIES The photocopier is located in the Music Library in the basement. Photocopies are 25 cents per page. Please respect copyright laws: you may not photocopy a work in its entirety. If you need a photocopy for a class, please ask for one from your teacher. Please make sure that you and your children take care of it so that it LASTS Ask at the tuck shop for the balls ($1 deposit). For adults who would like to use better quality paddles, these are available at the tuck shop for a $5 deposit. PRACTICE STUDIOS You will find a reservation form for studios on the bulletin board located to the right of the dining room. A new sheet goes up every morning for the day. Please do not reserve a studio for more than one hour per day and do not reserve a studio for multiple hours with the same group. If possible, practice in your room (between 8 a.m. and 8:30 p.m.) and leave the studios free for group practice or for pianists. PRIVATE PROPERTY Please respect the private property of neighbors of CAMMAC and ensure that your children or adolescents remain on CAMMAC property.

RECEPTION / TUCK SHOP Open every day from 7:30 a.m. to 11 p.m. You may purchase meal tickets for guests or for participants without a meal plan, as well as candies, ice cream, recorders, musical supplies, paper and toiletry articles. SMOKING SMOKING IS FORBIDDEN in ALL of the buildings including practice studios and including bedrooms. It is also forbidden to smoke within 9 meters of any open windows or doors. TELEPHONE Public phones are located on the porch of the Lake House and in the basement of the main building. The telephone in the reception area is reserved for emergency and for staff use. TENNIS COURT The tennis court can be booked on a form posted on the billboard. We do not manage the tennis court schedule; the honour code reigns! Tickets must be purchased in advance at https://www.weezevent.com/navette-shuttle or by calling the office at 819 687-3938. VENTILATION IN ROOMS To ensure coolness in bedrooms in the main building, we suggest that you leave your windows and blinds closed during the day. At night, to get the best airflow, open both the top and the bottom of your windows.

VOLUNTEERS WANTED! We need volunteers for : o evening snacks (put out prepared plates of fruit and cookies on the tables, clean up the dirty dishes and put them in the appropriate bins) o fire monitor (one volunteer per floor in the main building, in the Lake House, and for Mozart), o morning wake-up calls o short morning concert There will be sign-up sheets for these, posted on the billboard. WALKING TRAILS We strongly recommend that you wear socks and shoes and that you cover your legs when you walk in wooded areas. There are many deer in the area and some of them may carry ticks, which can cause unwanted effects to your health and well-being. Please note that local paths are not regularly maintained and that walks in the forest are at your own risk. Thank you for your cooperation. We hope you will have a wonderful time at the cammac music centre! Guylaine Lemaire, artistic director, and the CAMMAC team
