Introduction QESH - Quality, Environment, Safety and Health - How to make them all happen? APQO and NZOQ Conference Rotorua New Zealand 20th to 23rd November 2016 The 2016 APQO Conference and related activities are intended to influence international improvement in all management and technological activities to achieve the highest level of business outcomes in a measurable way. We intend to show these measurable business outcomes by promoting and using best international practice. APQO and NZOQ as leaders in management systems are working with our colleagues in other professional organisations covering Quality, Health and Safety as well as Environmental issues. An international Business Excellence Competition will also help to promote the issues of the Conference and Exhibition. The focus of the Conference programme will be on state of the art presentations and excellent educational opportunities brought by some of the outstanding local and international names in the fields of Quality, Health and Safety and Environment. Keynote addresses, papers, workshops and site visits plus poster papers and related Exhibition opportunities as well as planned delegate interaction will ensure a memorable and information packed programme. This prospectus outlines a wide selection of sponsorship and exhibition opportunities crafted with flexibility and maximum exposure for all potential sponsors. Alternatively, we will be happy to tailor a bespoke package to suit your requirements should the options outlined here not meet with your needs. As social networking is one of the key tools in making connections, the focus of the hospitality that the Conference offers will be creative, enjoyable and memorable. The magic and beauty of New Zealand, clean air to breathe and the ability to enjoy it all at your leisure completes the package. Rotorua awaits your arrival in 2016! About APQO and NZOQ About APQO (Asia Pacific Quality Organization) The Asia Pacific Quality Organization is an autonomous, non-political, non-profit, scientific and technical organization domiciled in the Asia Pacific region fixed by the Core Council. Asia Pacific includes countries in Asia and those located near the Pacific Rim. Vision APQO s Vision is to be recognized as the universal prime mover in terms of continuously improving the quality not only of goods and services all over the world but also the quality of life for its people. What is its Major Objective and How it is Achieved? APQO s major objective is to become an Asia Pacific scientific and technical association, whose country organization and individual memberships are jointly working towards the goal of achieving continuous quality improvement of goods and services. The objective is to be achieved through efficient organization, promotion and development of appropriate means to meet with other associations, institutions, groups and individuals concerned with and/or engaged in work related to quality improvement of goods and services. To date, APQO is listed in the World s Selected Quality Institutions and is linked with fifteen other quality or standards organizations in the world. About NZOQ (New Zealand Organisation for Quality) NZOQ is a non-profit, professional society dedicated to providing leadership in the adoption of the principles of quality management and best practice in New Zealand. We are a non-profit volunteer organisation that promotes and supports ethical and sustainable practices and diversity. We demonstrate leadership in improved business process through advocacy, education, promotion and support. We also promote and represent high standards of professionalism through the provision of opportunities for learning and growth. 2

Quality is vital to New Zealand organisations and individuals if they are to succeed in the increasingly competitive international marketplace. Since 1977, we have provided leadership in the advancement of quality management and best business practices. NZOQ s strength is the diversity of our members whose skills and experience span the spectrum of New Zealand industry sectors. We support our members through networking, information sharing and training initiatives. We are also mindful of the need to ensure that all business is responsible for the safety of its staff members as well as ensuring that our footprint is environmentally sustainable for future generations. To this end the Conference Organisers (NZOQ) along with APQO saw the need for a Conference that ties together the new international standards in a unified way. We need to communicate with each other as to how we ensure that Quality, Health and Safety as well as Environmental issues are addressed in an integrated way. As professional managers, technologists, academics, practitioners and government agencies we must be seen to be addressing the various issues that will arise from this Conference. 3
