Parents can drop off medications with Juliana in the media center. 8:15 Student will go to Global Arts. Chaperones, feel free to grab a coffee, fill your car up with gas, go to the bathroom, etc. 9:30 6E- parent chaperones meet with two 6th grade teachers in 6E to review car protocol, behavior expectations, itinerary, and directions to Don Lee. Basement- students meet with two 6th grade teachers in the basement to review car protocols and behavior expectations. Depart Exploris and head to Camp Don Lee (141 miles, 2 hr 24 minutes) Address: Don Lee Camp & Retreat Center 315 Camp Don Lee Road Arapahoe, NC 28510 *Students will need to eat their lunch on the ride to Don Lee.* 1:00 Arrive at Camp Don Lee Welcome from Don Lee staff

Try and be back at school by 3:15 dismissal! Please have students call their parents on the ride back with an estimated time of arrival to Exploris. Address: Exploris Middle School 401 Hillsborough Street Raleigh, NC 27603 Parent drivers, please circle through the back Ugly Monkey parking lot to drop students off. Do not park in the Ugly Monkey parking lot as normal carpool will be happening. Please park on the street if you need to come in the building. 3:15-3:45 Students will arrive back at Exploris. Please let your child know how they will be getting home that day or if they need to go to the afterschool program.

EXPEDITION: Camp Don Lee On Wednesday and Thursday: Students should wear comfortable clothes that can get wet and dirty. Packing List: Layered clothes for Wednesday and Thursday. Space is tight! ONLY one small overnight bag per child, sleeping bag, and a pillow. High 67/Low 49. Devices are divisive. Students cannot bring cell phones, ipods, movies, or any electronics other than cameras. Drivers may choose to bring electronics, and it is the duty of the driver to supervise inclusiveness and appropriateness. EVERYTHING LABELED WITH YOUR NAME! Packed bag lunch and snacks for Wednesday (no candy or popcorn) o Students will eat lunch in the car on the way to Don Lee Water bottle with your name written in sharpie Comfortable clothes that can get wet and/or dirty (this is what you should wear on Wednesday and Thursday) Prewashed white t-shirt for Arts and Craft activity Water shoes (old sneakers, aqua shoes, river sandals, NO FLIP FLOPS) Comfortable shoes to wear on land that will not get wet Rain jacket/rain pants/poncho Sunscreen Bug spray (optional) Pillow Sleeping bag Pants (1 pair) T-shirt (1 shirt) to wear home on Wednesday Socks Jacket or sweatshirt Pajamas that meet school dress code (We are ALL sleeping together in multiple cabins) Toiletries/toothbrush and deodorant, please! Camera is optional. Small towel (face washing - no showers) Extra blanket (optional) Flashlight/Head lamp (optional) $20 for Don Lee store (optional) Please remember to be a good guest. Use the restroom when we are stopped. Remove your trash from your vehicle at every stop. Indoor voices.

Keep track of your things. Be thankful. Our parents are very busy and took time from work and obligations to be with us. School rules apply! Lights out is FIRM.
