January 2019 It's not where you go, but who you go with! Tom Roubal, Editor CARING AND SHARING Jennie Christensen. 01/04 JoAnn Hohmann 01/07 Diana Schaefer 01/20 Judy Webb 01/11 Gary Wood 01/03 Barbara/Jim Schultz 01/05 EDITOR S NOTE: Wishing all Tucson Drifters enjoyed a wonderful holiday season as we take a January break from our monthly dinner and activity planning meetings. Our next dinner meeting will be in February 2019. President s Corner: Happy New Year to all you Tucson Drifters! Our past year of activities was an enjoyable and well supported one. We traveled near and far and saw wonderful, and sometimes surprising, things in the company of friendly folks. The Drifters motto, It s not where you go, but who you go with proves itself true every time we go on a rally. Our activities and suggested rally schedule for 2019-2020 will be equally interesting and enjoyable but your participation is the key. Without Rally Masters the Drifters won t be going anywhere with any friendly company. If you re a seasoned member, volunteer to be a Rally Master and if you re a newer member volunteer to help so you can learn just how easy it is to plan and conduct a rally. Have you traveled somewhere and had an enjoyable experience, or would you like to see us go to a particular venue? Bring your suggestions to the activities committee meetings. We all became Drifters members because we want to go places and see things in the company of enjoyable folks. I anticipate another great year for the Tucson Drifters, but again, you are the key. I look forward to being with you at our dinner meetings and rallies and admiring your magic and skills in being Rally Masters and hosts. It s your chapter - - what would you like to do???
