Annex II Significant Point Sources of Pollution and Emis Inventory in Serbia and Montenegro 1 EMIS Inventory Data Collection Worksheets 2000 Instructions: * The worksheet contains the emission sources and related values of the EMIS Inventory 2000. Please edit values of listed emission sources as appropriate for the current reference year 2002. New emission sources have to be entered in a new line at the bottom of the list. Do not delete any rows. If an emission source does not exist any more or there are no values for the current reference year, just delete the old values but leave the AV Code and Location name. *AV Codes have to be unique. This means, that each current and former emission source has a different AV code by which it can be identified. For new emission sources, use the highest existing AV code + 1 as the new AV Code. Note, that each country has a limit of 1000 emission codes (e.g. AT from 1000-1999, BA from 2000-2999) * Column "Main River" has been changed to "Recipient river (length of stream in km)": State the name of the stream receiving the discharge including the indication of further connection to the Danube main stream. For each receiving stream give the length in km from the enter of the discharge to the mouth of the river. Example: Cisla (9), Viseu (63), Tisa (59) * Please do not alter the format of the Excel-table; no other data format, no additional column, no italic letters; no remarks in value cells etc., because otherwise the table cannot be imported into the DANUBIS database automatically. * Values for loads for individual plants should be based on continuous or periodical measurements. If no measurement is available, permit values should be given and marked with "p", e.g. "p 189" (without quotes). * Remarks shall be made only in the column "Remarks". Municipal Emissions: * Those municipal emissions shall be included all municipal sources with more than 10 000 PE (waste water treatment plants, irrespective of the type of treatment, as well the municipal sources without treatment, discharging into the riverine environment. Annex II Significant Point Sources of Pollution and Emis Inventory in Serbia and Montenegro 7 Criteria to define significant pressures from point sources for the Danube River Basin District relevant for the Roof Report 2004 prepared by the EMIS EG 11 August 2004

Annex II Significant Point Sources of Pollution and Emis Inventory in Serbia and Montenegro 8 Background Criteria are needed for the identification of significant point source pollution on the basin-wide level. The criteria consider pressures from point sources, especially from substances referred to in Annex VIII WFD, to the Urban Waste Water Treatment Directive (91/271/EEC), to the Integrated Pollution Prevention and Control Directive (96/61/EC) and to the Dangerous Substances Directive (76/464/EEC).
