WAGON RIDE: Families love this one. Three generations can join in our restored country wagon for a ride through the village. We make a traditional stop at the local pub for a hot chocolate or cold beer. It's a great place to practice cantering (loping) for the first time and for getting the hang of a rising or sitting trot before you attempt this out on the range. For those guests on a longer stay, there is an opportunity to participate in our rodeo adventure and learn events such as barrel racing, pole bending, stake race and the keyhole event. It is complete with flag carrying parade and even some drill team practices for those who are keen and have mastered the maneuvers! GUIDED MEDITATIONAL HIKE: The forest around us has an abundance of logging trails that are a hikers' paradise. Close by the Retreat are caves to visit, peaks to climb, rivers to cross and meadows to rest in. The possibilities are endless and our goal is to continue clearing and connecting trails to make them multi-purpose. Indulge yourself into the adventure of a different type of hiking. It can be a way to rediscover who you really are. When we are connected to our source, our living becomes inspired, light and more magical. We offer hikes are deeply meditative, revitalizing and are door to see your life and world with different eyes. He was an intuitive person whose abilities exceeded human potential as we know it, and with his inventions he made big difference in the world. Tesla was practicing yoga, meditation, visualization and was finding inspiration for his work in the Velebit Mountain. Museum with Tesla s patents and educational tour are well worth the admittance ticket. Bikes and helmets for different ages are provided.
