CEDAR CREEK MODEL A FORD CLUB NEWSLETTER Model A Club News MARCH, 2009 President s Message www.cedarcreekas.org Thank you, Bill Wittner, for standing in for me at the February Meeting so that I could visit my brother who was in a Tyler hospital. I also thank all of you for your kind thoughts and prayers on his behalf. He is now home with instructions from the doctors to make some serious changes to his life style. Walt set up a carburetor overhaul tech session led by Ken Parker which was held on Tuesday, February 10 th,at Ken s shop in Van. If you missed this session you can read all about it and view the pictures of our activities by clicking on the Event Reports icon on our web site. Thanks, Walt and Ken for an interesting Tech Session, and THANK YOU, Lillian, for some delicious food. Our tour for the month was a visit to Mark Ham s Garage in Tennessee Colony with a roadside park picnic on the way back to Malakoff. This was my second trip to Mark s place and I have learned something interesting and useful about Model A s on each visit. Again, you can read and view pictures about this tour on our web site. Thanks, Ola, for an excellent tour. Bill Lee has added an icon named Calendar that has been populated with upcoming swap meets, tours, shows, and other information you may find of interest. I believe that some of these will be of interest to us as a group and some as individuals. The important point is that this Calendar on our web site will serve as a reminder of events scheduled far into the future. Take a good look and see if you may want to talk about some of these events during our next meeting. See you at the March Meeting, Tuesday, March 3 rd at the Seven Points Dairy Queen.
