Key Points to Note Our aim is to have a fun, safe and memorable trip this will only happen if everyone goes with the same mindset and works together to make it happen! Staff instructions must be followed and they should be afforded due respect. Students must accept rules concerning group discipline while travelling, in residence and on the slopes. These rules are based on safety, common sense and respect for property and for others and won t hinder enjoyment of the trip.
Key Points continued Once they have been told to go to bed for the evening, pupils must not leave their rooms except in an emergency. Students are responsible for keeping their rooms tidy. Absolute punctuality is required for departures from every location.
Key Points continued During this tour a few hours free time will be afforded in various locations. Pupils should restrict themselves to the areas specified by staff and travel about in groups of at least 3 taking with them staff contact numbers. During the tour, every pupil is responsible to a group leader. Any medical condition or allergy or dietary requirement must be declared on the consent form. Details of required medication must also be given.
Key Points continued An insurance policy has been taken out to cover all group members for loss of luggage, accidental damage, medical fees etc. This has been arranged through Top Flight. I draw your attention to the preexisting conditions clause, so as not to invalidate the policy. Clothing can be very cold on the slopes (not unknown to reach -25 C). Money needed for 7 lunches and shopping (say $200, cash or prepaid cards such as CartonFX, FairFX, Travelex).
Finally Quiet must be observed in bedrooms after an assigned time out of courtesy for others we are not the only guests. Enjoy!
