And, perhaps most importantly, we have fun doing what we do; knowing we are contributing in a small way to keeping man s best friend happy and comfortable. You can see and feel the Pendleton passion for quality. See it in the intricate patterns of blankets inspired by Native American designs and legends. Feel it in the softness of the lightweight, luxurious 100% pure virgin wool clothing we produce. We ve been a family-owned business for 150 years, and for 104 of those years we ve been weaving world class woolens in our Northwest Mills. Our expertise and technology have grown over the years, and we have translated that experience into a host of other luxury fabrics. But our legacy of quality will never change. You can rely on a Pendleton for a lifetime of comfort and beauty.
National Park Program Since the early 1900s, Pendleton Woolen Mills has honored America s National Parks with a collection of distinctive park blankets. Glacier Park National Park Blanket was one of the first. Its historic markings and colors date back to the frontier trading posts. Traders would indicate the weight of the blanket offered in exchange for furs by holding up one finger for each pound. The original blankets incorporated three, four or five black stripes in the design, which indicated the value of the blanket. Colors and variations of the original striped theme have been adapted to reflect distinguishing characteristics of each park and blanket in the collection. National Park Blankets are still woven at the original Pendleton Woolen Mill in the foothills of Oregon s Blue Mountains, just as they were more than 100 years ago. Together Both having an eye for style and passion for quality, it is inevitable that these two companies collaborate to bring you the following National Park Pet Collection. Together we are exploring innovative twists and ideas that incorporate the Pendleton lifestyle and iconic designs into the Carolina Pet product line. As you view the collections you will see and feel the unique breath taking scenery and awe inspiring monuments distinct to each National Park. So sit back and enjoy a trip to the National Parks without leaving your chair.

The park is home to many plants and animals, and the tallest mountain on the U.S. Atlantic coast. Today visitors come to Acadia to hike granite peaks, bike historic carriage roads, or relax and enjoy the scenery.
