South Africa Lions, tigers & bears (NOT oh my ) but Oh YEAH!! This is the trip we ve ALL been waiting for: South Africa! Since our time as children watching black & white Tarzan re-runs every Saturday afternoon, to marveling at National Geographic highlights about the African Wilderness participating in an actual wild animal safari is what we have longed to do! While this will be the first trip that TL Sea Travel has not featured scuba diving, it will capitalize on adventure, beauty, and nature, making it one of TL Sea s illustrious epic adventures! As such, this will not be a typical out-of-the-box adventure to Africa that s what you get when you do the research yourself on the web & listen to the wrong people! Instead, we have utilized four separate travel gurus heavy-hitters who specialize ONLY in Africa to develop what we believe to be the best itinerary at the lowest prices for our guests. We want to see and experience as much as possible without turning this trip into an expedition. This will truly be another once-in-alifetime TL Sea Adventure!
We begin our first day by arriving to South Africa s Johannesburg International Airport, transferring to Kruger National Park by air, and settling in to our accommodations at Kruger National Park for the first two nights. Kruger National Park is one of the best game parks to see the Big Five animals (African buffalo, lion, white rhino, elephant, leopard) as well as hyena, hippo, giraffe, zebra and a whole host of other animals. Our stay includes morning and afternoon/night game drives, as well as optional bush walks after breakfast. All activities take place in an area known for its quality of game viewing. On Day 3 we will do an early morning game drive and, after an early lunch, will head to Johannesburg International Airport to fly to Cape Town. Upon landing, we will transfer to our seafront accommodations at False Bay home of the African Penguin and Great white shark. During our three nights in False Bay, we will participate in a variety of activities with our first stop being the Cape Point Culture and Nature Tour. We ll take in Kalk Bay Harbor, Boulders Beach to view the endangered African Penguins, Masiphumelele culture visit, Chapman s Peak Drive, Hout Bay, Twelve Apostles, & Camps Bay. We re also going to take the cable way to the top of Cape Point for a stunning view of the worldrenowned Table Bay! We plan to see various species of buck, baboons and ostrich before we make our way to the popular tourist town of Simonstown for dinner. 2

This drive follows the world famous Route 62 with a stop at the famous Ronnie s sex shop en route for a refreshing drink! 3
This will be followed by a visit to an ostrich farm for a closer look at this enormous bird. We will have a chance to stand on an egg, and even try our luck at riding an ostrich! We will then have lunch at the award-winning Jemima s restaurant in Oudtshoorn before heading to the Wilderness on the Garden Route coast a scenic drive that will take us over the breathtakingly beautiful Outeniqua Mountain pass. We ll have lunch in at a popular waterfront restaurant 34 Degrees South where seafood (especially Knysna oysters) is top of the menu. After lunch, we ll have time to explore the Knysna Waterfront with its boutiques and souvenir shops. We will then be treated to a delicious lunch and South African wine at the Bramon Wine Estate. 4
Next on the our tour is Monkey Land the world's first free roaming multi-species primate sanctuary and Birds of Eden the largest free flight bird aviary in the world. We ll overnight in Tsitsikamma where we ll need to rest up for our next full day of adventure! Day 10 begins as we travel to Bloukrans, the World's Highest Commercial Bungy Jump at a whooping 216 meters high! A proud record for South Africa and particularly, Tsitsikamma, where if you are feeling brave at heart, you will jump! After surviving this experience, we ll continue on to the Tsitsikamma Nature Reserve and embark on a Storms River boat trip into the breathtaking beautiful Gorge. We ll then take a walk through the forest to the suspension bridge, followed by lunch at the Nature Reserve OR, if we want more adventure, we can do a canopy tour (Ziplining) which takes place in the magnificent Tsitsikamma indigenous rainforest. Many of the platforms are built around giant Outeniqua Yellowwood trees that are up to 700 years old! (This means they are strong and healthy!!) We ll then depart for a private game park in the Addo Elephant Park, the third largest in South Africa with more than 600 elephants, 400 Cape buffalo, over 48 endangered black rhino as well as a variety of antelope species. Lion and spotted hyena have also recently been re-introduced to this area. The largest remaining population of the flightless dung beetle is also located within the park. 5
Our trip rounds out in Wild Luxury with Game Lodge accommodations and a number of game drives at various times over two days where we will experience more adventure & beauty in the African Wilderness. We will participate in afternoon & night game drives as well as optional bush walks after breakfast. For those who have had enough of animals, adventure, life-changing experiences and fun, they will depart for the airport and international flight connections home. 6
For those who still have a thirst for even MORE adventure, we will head for the Largest Waterfall in the World! Victoria Falls As it will take a full day of travel, we depart Port Elizabeth, South Africa, and fly via Johannesburg to Victoria Falls where we will be transferred to a beautiful lodge with our rooms overlooking a waterhole. Our first day we will explore & enjoy a guided tour of Victoria Falls and have lunch at the Lookout Café. This semi open-air café is perched 120m above the turbulent rapids of the Zambezi River, overhanging a giant chasm of the Batoka Gorge just downriver of the iconic Victoria Falls Bridge which forms part of its spectacular backdrop. We will end the day with a perfect sunset cruise of the Zambezi River. During the premium two-hour guided sunset cruise, guests can look forward to 5-star service on board consisting of imported wines and spirits and gourmet hot & cold canapés. A variety of game is 7
consistently spotted such as elephant, hippo & crocodiles, as well as a vast plethora of bird species. We ll then head back for a leisurely evening to get ready for our next thrilling adventure-filled day! After breakfast on Day 2, we will begin a full-day rafting adventure and experience the most exciting and challenging rapids rafted anywhere on the planet! The Zambezi River below Victoria Falls is widely considered to be the very best rafting river in the world. A deep channeled high-volume river, the Zambezi has class 3 to 5 rapids interspersed with tranquil pools. This will be the thrill of a lifetime complete with competent, experienced guides. After our rafting adventure, we will head back to the falls to view the breathtaking scenery of one of the Seven Wonders of the World. Because safety is always our first priority, rafting may be closed if the river reaches a certain level. However, this is generally in March/April until May. At the time of our trip, the river should be open and rafting available. 8
If rafting is a little beyond your comfort zone, there is another option that can be selected during our trip, which includes a one day, one night canoeing experience on the Zambezi River. This option allows you to take in the incredible Upper Zambezi and surrounds, as you paddle and drift down the river spending the night at a mobile rustic bush camp situated approximately 25kms upstream from Victoria Falls in the Zambezi National Park. The camp is set up prior to our arrival, and is comprised of large walk-in tents, equipped with camp beds, mattresses, sheets, pillows & duvets, camping water basins (which are filled with hot water each morning), a paraffin lantern, bedside table, and hand towels. There is also a portable toilet and hot shower in camp. The camp and dining table are set up under the stars on the riverbank with stunning views of the river. Providing we will even be able to sleep after these adventures, the next morning will have us departing after breakfast for the airport and return to Johannesburg to catch our connecting flights back home. However, additional extensions to this itinerary are available. 9
