The student was very agitated and stated there were a lot of issues going on but he did not want to harm himself. The officer and student spoke for some time and he appeared to be settled down. The subject when into another room where there was a group of students making strange remarks and came back with a knife. The knife was confiscated and the officer was able to speak with the student the next day and he apologized. The student did not want the knife back and no other weapons were found in his room or vehicle. The officer met with the victim whom he had given an escort about an hour prior. The victim stated she was in her vehicle when a subject came up to her vehicle asking for help because his vehicle had been towed. The victim did not help the subject and the subject left. The subject never attempted to grab or harm the victim. The complainant wanted to make the officer aware and had already contacted RHPD about the incident. The officers checked the area and did not locate a subject. The victim was outside her vehicle when the subject approached and she quickly got back into her vehicle. The subject left the area. The victim stated an unknown subject knocked on her front door but she did not answer it. The subject walked a couple of houses down and got into a s silver four door sedan which dropped him off right down the road. The officer spoke with the complainant and got all the information. The officer also advised the complainant about contacting Campus Police and the LiveSafe app.
