Biography - Jason Kelly Major airline leadership & experience Jason served as Director of Emergency Management for Continental Airlines, with worldwide responsibility for the Emergency Response program. He oversaw and directed: Corporate Emergency Response Plan 270 Airport ER plans 450 care team members All ER training programs Corporate ER drills Continental Airlines flight 1404 accident December 20, 2008 Denver, Colorado Boeing 737-500 115 passengers & crew onboard The airplane crashed on takeoff and was destroyed by fire. Jason led the Go Team flight to DEN and was on-scene for 10 days working with surviving passengers and family members. 28 injured passengers and crew members were taken to 4 Denver area hospitals, over 50 care team members deployed to Denver. Continental Connection flight 3407 accident February 12, 2009 Clarence Center, New York Bombardier Q400 operated by ColganAir 49 passengers & crew onboard The airplane crashed into a house, killing all 49 on board, as well as 1 person in the house, with 2 other family members in the house surviving. Jason led the Go Team flight to BUF and was on-scene for 14 days working with family members of the passengers, crew, and ground fatality. Over 250 care team members deployed to BUF.
Biography Salvador Velasco Major airline experience Salvador served as Family Assistance Coordinator and Cabin Crew Instructor for TACA International Airlines. He oversaw and directed: Airline Emergency Response Plans Training of Family Assistance Response Teams Corporate and stations drills Sansa Airlines Flight 1644 August 26, 2000 Arenal Volcano, Costa Rica Cessna 208B Grand Caravan 10 passengers and crew onboard The aircraft collided with the Arenal Volcano at approximately 656 feet, with no survivors. Salvador was part of the airline Go Team and was on-scene for 21 days leading the response and working with family members. Sansa Airlines Flight 1625 November 28, 2001 Quepos, Costa Rica Cessna 208B Grand Caravan 8 passengers and crew onboard The airplane crashed while on approach for landing. Both pilots and 1 passenger were killed, with 5 survivors. Salvador was part of the airline Go Team and was on-scene for 25 days working with surviving passengers and family members. AeroPerlas March 17, 2000 Puerto Obaldia, Panama De Havilland DHC-6 Twin Otter 10 passengers and crew onboard The aircraft collided with a mountain near Puerto Obaldia, with no survivors. Salvador was part of the airline Go Team and was onscene for 10 days working in the accident investigation.
