10 Black Country Museum We had our first big day out in April to the ever popular, award winning Black Country Living Museum. A real working museum showing life as it would have been many years ago! The Black Country Living Museum is uniquely placed to tell the story of the creation of the world s first industrial landscape. With shops and houses that have been taken down from the local area and then rebuilt brick by brick on the site in the exact same way. There are tools, food, and so much to see it s a great day out for our residents. Most recently, the TV show Peaky Blinders was filmed there!! It was a fantastic day with a lot of laughs and even a pig named after one of our residents Lily!!
