First a tour of the Bridge Museum explains how all the pieces of the Bridge were built on land, transported into place by specialized equipment and bound together with a series of cables. Then as you cross the bridge the Tour Director explains the reasons for the unique shape, and how the Bridge manages the Ice Flows of the Northumberland Strait.
