Jiri Kobrle Chief Judge: Lars-Göran Arvidsson (SWE) Organizing Committee Director: Jan Adamec Judge Committee: Duras Jiri, Bajzik Stanislav, Peskova Lucie, Kaftan David, others will be nominated on competition starting day Target of the Competition a) To realize high-quality competition in powered aerobatic in the Czech Republic and to nominate the winner in following categories: UNLIMITED ADVANCED INTERMEDIATE SPORTSMAN b) To provide confrontation of sports achievements and exchange of experience for pilots. c) To organize sports and social event overreaching regional meaning. d) Presentation of Vysocina region. e) Promote of the Czech Republic Aero Club organization, aero sports and especially aerobatics. f) Show activity of LKCT Chotebor to the inhabitants of the region, especially to young people. General conditions of the Competition Competition is organized according to the following rules: Competition regulations of Aero Club of the Czech Republic for aerobatics valid from 1.3.2000.
The competition in UNLIMITED and ADVANCED category according to CIVA REGULATION The competition in INTERMEDIATE and SPORTSMAN categories according to national rules. The competition results in particular category will be valid if at least two programs are flown in the category. Foreign competitors will be evaluated under Mayor of Chotebor s cup. Conditions for participants of the Competition a) Each competitor must be able to perform independent competition flight, if not, he shall request the organizer of the safety pilot. The competitors are responsible personally for safeness of training and competition flights. In the presence of safety pilot on board the airplane the safety pilot has the responsibility for the safeness of training and competition flights. b) All pilots flying below 600 m above the airport must have confirmed released below the set limit. c) For category Unlimited confirmed minimum height 100 m. d) For category Advanced confirmed minimum height 200 m. e) For category Intermediate confirmed minimum height 300 m. f) For category Sportsman finished Syllabus IV. (AK-MOT). (600m), eventually confirmed minimum height 500 m, otherwise 600 m. Airplanes For all airplanes participating in the competition the valid airplane documentation will be checked by the technical representative upon presentation. All airplanes must be full qualified for aerobatic flying in range of the competition category in which will be used. The technical committee is state for the competition. This committee will make the technical acceptance of airplanes and will make final resolution about enlistment airplane in the competition. In the case of competitor s protest with reference to technical fault, the report of technical committee is decisive for final resolution of protest. Changing of the airplane is permitted during the competition at any time if it is necessary and if the technical committee recommends it. At the same time it is allowed to fly more competitors on the same airplane during the competition. Before each competition day the airplane operator will confirm to organizer revision of the airplane.
Airplane parking is included in the entry fee. Entry Fee The entry fee is unified for all categories 1 500 CZK / 60 EUR. The entry fee will be collected at competitors presentation. This contribution includes: a) organizational costs b) arrangement of the opening and closing receptions c) aircraft parking outside the hangar The entry fee does not include aviation fuel, oil or airplane renting. Application and Registration The competitor can use for his registration online registration form, post, e-mail, or fax. Online registration procedure: 1. The competitor starts registration process on web page http://www.acro-online.cz/. After filling in the basic information (name, surname, email, phone no., password) an email message will be sent to the email address provided. 2. After activation notification email is received, the user can log in and fill in the detailed description. 3. In case of Intermediate, Advanced, and Unlimited categories, the figure for the free program has to be inserted. The figures can be inserted either as pictures (jpeg, gif, png, tiff etc.) or as a MS VISIO ARESTI file, OPENAERO or OLAN file. OPENAERO or OLAN format is preferred. Drawing system OPENAERO is available at web address (www.openaero.net). 4. After the highlighted mandatory fields in the registration are filled in, there will be a notification, that the registration is complete. 5. After a successful registration, the competitor will receive an confirmation via email message, also containing information about payment methods. A registration delivered by email, fax or by online system is accepted till 31 st May 2014. Applications after this date are possible, but please contact organizer first. The competitors must show the insurance policy covering such damage. Doping The competitors may be asked to pass the anti-doping test during the competition. Competition Rules a) There will be three programs for categories UNLIMITED, ADVANCED and INTERMEDIATE Q-Compulsory, Free, Unknown. Free programme rules for INTERMEDIATE Figure total K = 175, maximum number of figures 10. Diversification same as ADVANCED, except for snap-rolls. There will be three programs in category SPORTSMAN Q-Compulsory, two Unknown. b) Under the unfavorable weather the KVD2 program will be flown = flying aerobatics figures by twos. c) The aircraft types: UNLIMITED under CIVA REGULATION ADVANCED under CIVA REGULATION INTERMEDIATE a SPORTSMAN according to national regulations. d) Unknown Program may be flown min. 4 hours after its declaration if it is not mutually agreed otherwise by competitors and competition organizers. e) Order of first program will be established on opening briefing by drawing lots.
f) Order of other program will be established following the through results in reverse order and corrected by organizer in relation to flowing process of the competition. g) The forms A, B,C with Free Programs must be produced at competitors presentation. h) The forms with Compulsory programs are published on www.leteckaakrobacie.cz. Competition flights conditions a) Meteorological conditions horizontal visibility min. 5 km. high of lower base of clouds min. 50 meters upon max. high state for competition flights wind power measured aground max. 10 meter per second. b) Height limits Height limits are done for each competition categories and they are judged visually by judges. Height limits are done for all competition flights for UNLIMITED, ADVANCED categories according to CIVA REGULATIONS. Height limits for INTERMEDIATE category: - high limit 1300 meters GND - low limit 300 meters GND Height limits for SPORTSMAN category: - high limit 1500/1600 meters GND - low limit 500/600 meters GND c) Modification upper height limit Under the unfavorable weather the Chief Judge can decide about modification upper height limit and competition flights will fly with interruptions. Training flights Training flights are scheduled from 18 th till 21 th June 2014. You may apply for them via email info@airshowchotebor.cz or adamec@coophb.cz.
