Cedar Valley Street Rods December 6, 2015 at 1:00 F&W Whitey Hermansen called the meeting to order at 1:00 pm. Members Present: Shirley and Whitey Hermansen, Dave and Lois Bailey, Dick Wilkinson, Rich Klamerus, Mary Markmann, Butch Slocum and Lynn Montour, Bernie and Linda Dixon, Virgil Dietz, Brad Johnson, Jerry Juett, Earl Sigwarth, Sharon Davis, Craig and Lynn Emrich, Richard Mishler, Sherri Wilcox, Larry Hampton, David and Joyce Wheatley, Roger Hindman, Don Mahan, Bruce Cross. Guest Pat Pfiffner and Bob Goheen Minutes of October 6 were approved. Motion made by Dick Wilkinson, Larry Hampton seconded. Roger gave the treasurer s report. THANK YOU to Dean Demorest and Eric Pfiffner for wonderful chili and to all the members who brought a side dish! OLD BUSINESS: Leon Evans Cruise-In Jeff was not at the meeting to report. Members said it was a good turnout. Approximately 400 attended. Dennis Moeller 563-580-7684 will do club embroidery on shirts, jackets, etc. You need to purchase what you want and get it to him. Front $ 10.00, Name $ 8.00, Back $ 25.00. He also has 40 th anniversary patches for sale. October s trip to Hale Supper Club was great, but ran out of roast beef Bernie said they had a good crowd at Quincy 12 people attended masonic Library tour. Everyone that attended said it was a great, informational tour. NEW BUSINESS: Whitey read the by-laws pertaining to board member changes for the upcoming year. In addition, DUES ARE DUE February 1 to Roger or Sharon! Dave Bailey has requested to step down as a board member. Don Mahan volunteered to replace Dave. All in favor and passed. Thank you to Dave for your service! Sharon passed around the club roster for any changes/updates. Please let a member know if you have any changes that weren t completed at the meeting. Over 70 nonperishable items brought to meeting were delivered to the Marion Presbyterian Church. Larry Hampton has volunteered to be the contact person on the website. There is an option on the webpage to contact us. Those emails will now go to Larry. A CVSR plaque is now hanging at the Speedway Motors Museum of American Speed in Lincoln, NB. Thanks to Butch for setting this up, and to Bill Nekvinda for furnishing a 'new old stock' plaque

We received a letter from Speedway Motors Museum of American Speed as well. Suggestions we made to have a Cruise to the Speedway and have a tour. Suggestions were also made to have a Rod Run to Des Moines with approximately 75% wanting an overnight. Lake Okoboji was also suggested. Gift certificates were presented to Dick Wilkensen for the use of his building for the meetings and to Stacy Sievers for her work on taking and writing up meeting minutes, and keeping the website and Facebook up-todate.
