Women`s Court-feminist approach to justice Quarterly report for the period of April-June 2012 As we used to do until now, we inform you upon the activities of Women in Black regarding organizing Women`s Court for the ex Yugoslavia in the period we have mentioned, and if you are interested in more info you can find them on our web sitewww.zeneucrnom.org or you can contact us on our mail adress: zeneucrnom@gmail.com We wish to thank you in advance and in solidarity. By the end of 2010, members of the Initiative Board: Women to Women, Sarajevo, (Bosnia and Herzegovina), Center for women`s and peace education Anima, Kotor, (Montenegro), Center for women studies and Center for women war victims, Zagreb, (Croatia), Women`s Kosovo Network, Women studies and Women in Black, Belgrade, (Serbia), initiated organizing of Women`s Court for the ex Yugoslavia. Women in Black are the bearer of the program activities in organizing the Women's Court, they arrange and coordinate all activities with organizations of which Steering Committee is consisted of. During this period certain activities were held: Public presentations Initiatives for organizing of Women`s Court represent the research and activists process in order to gather information, suggestions connected to phenomena and vision of justice and selection of issues for Women`s Court for the ex Yugoslavia Working and consulting meetings of activists for organizing of Women`s Court We held 5 meetings (Bosna i Hercegovina, Crna Gora, Makedonija i Srbija) in accordance with feminist working codex which obliges us on knowledge distribution and and joint reflection process. Meetings are the part of this democratic process, and the purpose is to analyse the results we got until now, and defining of our future steps in the process of comprehending and building the justice from feminist approach. Projection of documentaries with the aim of spreading the infos and knowledge regarding this issue and in this reporting period we have organized 3 projections Video aktivizam consideres to create video material in accordance with the topic, and in this reporting period we gave our efforts in order to adjust 3 video materials for the purpose of this process Art events or activist-artist initiative in conjunction with feminist approach to justice based on the long, continuous cooperation with the art groups and individuals. Women in Black develop and nurture this type of activity within other programs. We have organized 1 theater peice. Publishing activity has an aim to deepen the knowledge regarding the process of forming Women`s Court for the ex Yugoslavia 1

Public Presentations Bosna and Hercegovina In this reporting period we held 3 public presentations in 3 cities, and they were attended in whole by 73 persons 01. 04. Kozarac, By heart toward peace: organized by the organisation By heart toward peace and Women in Black, 21 person attended, leaded by Staša Zajović i Marija Perković. 02. 04. Bihać, Cultural Centre of Bihac: organized by Majka Mejra Dautović and Women in Black attended by 27 persons, leaded by Staša Zajović i Marija Perković. 15-16. 04. Tuzla, Association Srebrenica`s women: organized by Association Srebrenica`s women and Women in Black, attended by 25 persons, leaded by Staša Zajović i Marija Perković and Nataša Lambić. Montenegro In this reporting period we held 3 public presentations in 3 towns of Montenegro, and the number of the attendants in whole is 39. 19.04. Herceg Novi, Heritage of Montenegro: organized by Anima, attended by 7 persons, leaded by Ljupka Kovačević. 09.05. Cetinje, Center for Artistic Research: organized by Faculty of Fine Arts, attended by 11 persons, leaded by Ljupka Kovačević. 06. 06. Tivat, Tivat Organization of Women: organized by Tivat Organization of Women, 21 people participated, leaded by Ljupka Kovačević. Croatia U ovom izveštajnom periodu, održano je 5 prezentacija u 4 grada Hrvatske, a ukupan broj učesnica iznosio je 75. 11.04. Dubrovnik, Inter-University Center: attended by 11 persons, leaded by Paula Zore and Ljupka Kovačević of Anima, Kotor. May, Vukovar, Town hall,: organized by Center Flame, attended by 11 persons, leaded by: Milena Babić, Marija Molnar, Renata Ćuk, Paula Zore, Nela Pamuković. 04.06. Zagreb, Center for women studies: organized within educational program, Legal Clinic, attended by 17 participants, leader Željko Sartori. 2

Osijek, Faculty of Law, University of Josip Juraj Strossmayer: Center for Women's Studies, the subject of women, gender, human rights in post-graduate specialist studies on Human Rights, attended by 10 participants, leader Biljana Kašić. 28.06. Zagreb, Library Bogdan Ogrizović: 5 women in the organization of the initiative, 26 participants took part. Macedonia In Macedonia, two presentations were held in 2 cities in which 24 people took part in various social, religious, ethnic, educational and professional structures. 05. 06. Kumanovo, Women's groups within Sirma within SOZM: organized by Women's group Sirma within SOZM and Women in Black, was attended by 13 participants, leaded by: Svetlana Staša Zajović and Svetlana Saric, supported by Nuna, Mother Mejra, Ljilja Radovanovic. 07. 06. Tetovo, House of non-governmental organization in Tetovo -Women's Forum - Women's Forum and Women in Black have organized it, attended by 20 participants, headed Staša Zajović. Serbia In this quarterly report were held 4 public presentations in 3 cities, attended by 40 persons. 05. 04. Novi Sad, the Independent Association of Vojvodina Journalists: Esperanca, organization from Novi Sad and Women in Black organized it, attended by 12 individuals, presented by Ivana Vitas and Maria Perković. 24. 04. Niš, Women's Space: Women's Space and Women in Black organized it, attended by 6 people, presented by Piskulidis Tina, Marija Dedović and Marija Perković. 21.06. Niš, SKC: organized by the Centre for Girls and Women in Black, attended by 12 individuals, presented by Tanja Nikolic, Aleksandra Žikić, Ivana Vitas and Maria Perkovic. 01. 06. Working consultative meetings of Public Presentation leaders 5 meetings were held in four states of the former Yugoslavia (Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Macedonia and Serbia), with the participation of 77 persons from a total of 35 cities: 25. 04. Leskovac (Serbia) - The meeting was attended by 12 persons from 4 cities (Leskovac, Nis, Kraljevo, Belgrade), headed by Staša Zajović and Maria Perković. 27.05. Kotor (Montenegro) - The meeting was attended by 15 people from nine cities (Berane, Bijelo Polje, Budva, Cetinje, Herceg Novi, Kotor, Niksic, Podgorica, Pljevlja), headed by Staša Zajović and Ljupka Kovačević. 06. 06. Skopje (Macedonia) - The meeting was attended by 24 people from eight cities (Skopje, St. Nicholas, Veles, Tetovo, Bihac, Sarajevo, Vlasotince, Belgrade), headed by Staša Zajović. 16. 06. Kotor (Montenegro) - The meeting was attended by seven people from six cities (Bijelo Polje, Podgorica, Niksic, Cetinje, Kotor and Herceg Novi), headed by Ljupka Kovačević. 24. 06. Sarajevo (Bosnia and Herzegovina) - The meeting was attended by 19 people from eight cities (Sarajevo, Sarajevo, Srebrenica, Modriča, Bijeljina, Bratunac, Banja Luka, Belgrade), headed by Marijana Stojčić and Staša Zajović. Artistic events 22nd -23d of July, Đulići (Bosna i Hercegovina), a theater play `Crossing the Line` Belgrade's Dah Theater, organized by Women in Black, and local women's groups from Đulići. The play was attended by 50 persons from Đulići and surrounding villages. Publishing activities Publishing in the period April - June, new leaflets on the Women's Court were prepared to: Macedonian language Albanian language Bosnian language Croatian language Montenegrin language 4

Documentary projections In this reporting period we have organized 3 projections in 3 towns, attended by 32 persons. 04.06. Kraljevo, Evergreen" Cultural Center- attended by 12 persons, headed by Snežana Obrenović. 14.06. Leskovac, Women for peace movie projection `The end of impunity`, attended by 13 persons, headed by Ivana Ristić. 20.06. Niš,Center for girls - movie projection `Milk of sorrow`, Student Cultural Center, attended by 8 persons, headed by Tanja Nikolić. Video aktivismm In the previous quarterly period, the activities of a group of video activism included: Documentary `Women`s Court` - a feminist approach to justice (the duration of it is 16:20 minutes) and is further adapted to : Macedonian and Albanian language; Documentary `Women`s Court` - feminist approach to justice is adapted to the new format of public presentations and reduced to 17 minutes of duration, while the previous version took 32 minutes; Documentary Mother Mejra Dautović - the Women's Court and the ICTY, is further adjusted to broadcast for the purpose of public presentations. The announcement of the events: a) Educations: 14th of July, Sombor (Serbia), seminar ` Women's Court feminist approach to justice` 21-22nd of July, Belgrade (Serbia), seminar `Genocide, war crimes and memories, roots of evil, I want to understand`, author Janja Beč. b) Working consultation meetings 03d of Septemer, Zagreb (Hrvatska) c) Meeting of Initiative Board of Women`s Court 21-25th of September, meetingwill be held in Tivat (Montenegro) or in some of the cities of Kosovo e) Publishing activitiest: July, booklet -`Genocide, war crimes and memories, roots of evil, I want to understand`. 5
