We inspire healthy communities through the donation of recycled sports equipment. This year we have already donated 1844 items of recycled equipment and inspired 1160 participants. Like us on Facebook Follow us on Twitter Follow us on Google+ Message from the Chair Last week I was in the Pilbara participating in our first trip to the region for 2014 supported by BHP Billiton. When I look back on how far we've come since 2010 I'm proud of our achievements. Over seven days I helped implement our unique sport and fitness programs both in and outside the classroom across four communities. I am continually reminded of the incredible commitment of our partners across 1 Who Are We? We are a volunteer not-forprofit organisation. Our vision is to inspire healthy communities through recycled sports equipment.

remote Western Australia to building a brighter future for all. We value the relationships we have built and look forward to an additional seven Pilbara trips across the remainder of this year. John van Bockxmeer Our Wish List We are in need of basketballs, AFL footballs and football boots sizes 5-8. We've prepared the first 300 hygiene packs which are to be distributed during sports games across WA by volunteer Fair Gamers. Kimberley Region Many thanks to the hundreds of families donating their preloved equipment at our permanent collection bins in Perth. Armando Sports have donated over 900 items of equipment. Other significant donations have come from Christ Church Grammar School, Herbert Smith Freehills & Victoria Park Junior Soccer Club. 2

The new Fair Game volunteers for 2014 put their skills to the test when they visited the Kimberley region in April. One half of the group ventured along the Gibb River Road to Mowanjum, Imintji and Kupingarri while the other half visited Fitzroy Crossing and surrounds. Everyone enjoyed a week facilitating Game On! and Healthy Communities activities with the energetic kids as well as seeing some of the magnificant landscape of the Kimberley! Read more about the Fair Game what it was like as a new volunteer... Pilbara Region In May, Fair Game headed to the Pilbara for the first of FOUR trips scheduled for this year! Media The Sunday Times recently featured two long standing committee members of Fair Game, Natalie Swan and Dave Prout in the 'Ying and Yang' section of the STM magazine. Also, Wheatbelt Coordinator, Hamish Watkins, was featured in the Australia Physiotherapist Association magazine. The group traveled 670km visiting various communities throughout the region, engaging with hundreds of enthusiastic kids and donating some much needed equipment. Wheatbelt Region April was a busy month for the Wheatbelt region with 3 trips in 3 weekends! Fair Game visited Moora, Wagin and Narrogin (all for the first time) and conducted some fun day programs with the kids in the communities. Goldfields Region Fair Game recently attended the sixth annual Murlpirrmarra Connection's cultural football carnival between the Wiluna Martu Eagles and the Dalkeith Nedlands/Subiaco Giants Junior Football club. The yearly carnival brings together young players from both clubs in a unique weekend of football and Awards 3

educational activities. A great initiative that we are proud to be involved with! Perth Region 2013 Annual Report Fair Gamers have continued to support our partners in Balga with three Saturday sport and fitness sessions. We've donated items to support community sports clubs and have been continuing to run dance sessions in Midland on Friday nights with the PCYC. It has been a big few months for awards at Fair Game! We were honoured to be recognised at the 2014 Community Services Excellence Awards taking out the 'volunteer based organisation' category. Our annual report will be released within the next month, please keep an eye out for it via your email shortly. Individual Fair Gamers have also been recognised for their hardwork and dedication in the community. Hamish Watkins (above) was awarded the Saint Mary Mackillop Service Award at the Notre Dame University annual awards night and Pilbara coordinator Sarah Power represented WA as a national finalist in the National Youth Awards in the Health and Wellbeing category. It is fantastic to see Fair Game and its committed volunteers being deservedly recognised! Major Sponsors Fair Game Partners 4
