The following facilities are available at the prices stated. The Volunteer Properties and Camping Committees of the Northern Lights Council have determined that these fees are necessary to ensure the upkeep and continued existence of our Council Properties. Reservation details are listed under each camp. Full fee plus any security deposit required must accompany all reservations. Scout units may be requested to perform a 1 hour service project while at camp. (Note- this does not change the rental fees.) Day Use Tent Camping Tom Brantner Memorial Camp Leave No Trace facility Latrine, Picnic Table, Water Latrine, Picnic Table, Water Available January 2 nd through October 31 st. All trash must be hauled away Reservations are made by calling the Fargo Center for Scouting, 701-293-5011. Usage Agreements for Scout Units Only (Non-Scout Units see next Page) Please Read, Complete and Sign 1. All persons/group must have a reservation with the appropriate Scout Service Center before entering camp (see bottom of page for contact details). 2. All Maintenance s and Damage Deposits must be prepaid at the Scout Service Center prior to use of camp. 3. Units using additional facilities beyond what was requested will be expected to pay additional maintenance fees. Rangers have authority to enforce this policy. (Note- Units cannot decide to do a service project instead of paying.) A Scout is Trustworthy. 4. Damages: Any damage to camp property or equipment will be billed to the person(s) responsible for the damages. Some buildings require a damage deposit. 5. Security/Damage deposit will be refunded only after satisfactory inspection of the facilities/equipment used by the Camp Ranger (or designee). Refunds will be issued from the Council Service Center. 6. NO PETS are allowed on camp property. Service animals are welcome. 7. Camp Ranger (or designee) is authorized to ask people to leave Camp who have violated regulations discussed herein. Rangers (or designee) have complete authority in Camps, as per the Scout Executive. 8. Dates are subject to written cancellation no less than 30 days in advance by Northern Lights Council. 9. Absolutely No alcoholic beverages, illegal drugs or fireworks are allowed on Scout property at any time. 10. No Smoking in buildings or in front of Scouts. Please Read, Complete and Sign We shall indemnify, hold free and harmless, assume liability for, and defend the Boy Scouts of America, its chartered affiliates, agents, servants, employees, officers, and directors from any and all costs and expenses including, but not limited to attorney s fees, reasonable investigative and discovery, costs, and all other sums which the Boy Scouts of America, its chartered affiliates, agents, servants, employees, officers, and directors may pay or become obligated to pay on account of any, all, and every demand for claim or assertion of liability, or any claim or action founded thereon, arising or alleged to have arisen out of our use of real or personal property belonging to the Boy Scouts of America, its chartered affiliates, agents, servants, employees, officers, or directors, or by any action or omission by our organization, its members, agents, servants, employees, officers or directors. 1. Cancellation of rental of Complete is subject to 14 days notice, with a fee of 10% of the usage fee.
