Thursday, 8 September 2016 Dear Parents/Caregivers Thank you to all parents who came to book week to view children s work, purchase a book for the library or read to children. Also a big thank you to all those who supported the read-a-thon. It has been a fun time with a number of visiting authors and of course a very successful book character parade. We hope that this time has helped to instill a love of reading and books in your children. A total of $7030 worth of books were sold last week with 35% of takings donated back to the school by Scholastic. Thank you to those 35 kind parents who also donated a book to the library. Readathon sponsorship money should be brought to the hall foyer any time now from 8.30-9am till next Monday 12 September. Many thanks.
