The Company welcomed over 300 guests to the cocktail party and provided a festive atmosphere with music, champagne and light refreshments hosted by a number of beautifully attired young ladies. Club members were given a guided tour of the building including the modern service facilities, in the centre of which was a blind pianist playing melodies on a baby grand piano and accompanied by his guide dog looking thoroughly bored with all the fuss. Both the XK150 of David and Robyn Hughes and the Mark V of Gary and Jane Mikkelsen were on show for the event. Bruce Lynton welcomed all the guests and hoped everybody was enjoying themselves and that the Company might see some of the guests visiting his showroom in the future. 2017 Gold Coast Committee Position Name Home Phone Mobile Email Chairman Terry Cooper 5594 4688 0419 748507 terry.cooper5@bigpond.com.au V/Chairman David Willmott 5593 2524 0408 455249 davidanthony56@hotmail.com Secretary John Porter 5533 2826 0411 119844 jm.porter@bigpond.com Treasurer Di Cooper 5594 4688 0419 748507 terry.cooper5@bigpond.com.au Editor Robin Kup-Ferroth 5576 2134 0412 590458 robink4@optusnet.com.au PR, Library Ron Gaudion 5594 5205 0432 918112 gaudfree@gmail.com Committee Ray Howlett 5564 1114 0408 769118 rayhowlett@bigpond.com Debby Duncan 5525 2310 0413 181919 dduncan@powerup.com.au Caroline Mercer 5579 9806 0411 411554 carolinem88@bigpond.com Caroline Coulston 5597 7673 0419 120541 caroline_coulston@hotmail.com Chris Miers 5577 1686 0404 274386 clmiers@bigpond.net.au Arthur Kontalis 55977673 0418 467023 askho56@gmail.com Sandy Smith 0419748504 Disclaimer The Gold Coast Register of the Jaguar Drivers Club of Queensland Inc. cannot accept any responsibility for any product or service statements made herein, and the opinions or comments from any contributor to the newsletter are not necessarily those of the club, its committee, its members or the Editor. 6
