Some patients presented in the Table contacted INEP directly (*1 cases). The other patients were hospitalized at Clinic for Infectious and Tropic Diseases, Belgrade (Project colaboration). Source of infection -pork meat, except for the Outb. 5 the wild boar meat was wrongly declared as infected. News from NRLT, INEP, 13 : NRLT from Serbia is monitoring the situation regarding Trichinella infection in human and animals according to data supplied from Institute of Public Health of Serbia and Serbian Ministry of Agiculture respectively. Serodiagnosis - samples of sera are collected from patients directly or obtained from the Clinic for Infectious and Tropical Diseases. NRLT works on the expansion of cooperation within the region.
